Temazcal Tequila Cantina truly lives up to its name, adorned with charming lights that create a warm and cozy atmosphere. I had the pleasure of trying the Birria and chicken tacos, both of which were exceptionally tasty. The overall vibe of the restaurant added significantly to my enjoyment. While I didn't partake in any drinks, the lively scene at nearby tables suggested a vibrant selection for those who do.

It's an ideal spot for a laid-back evening with friends, offering a combination of great food and a welcoming ambiance. The service was not only quick but also delivered with a friendly and polite touch, enhancing the overall experience. I'm eager to return and explore more dishes on their menu, as my initial visit left a positive impression. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend giving Temazcal Tequila Cantina a try for a delightful dining experience.

We got a quick bite & a two drinks before the movies (shrimp quesadillas and carne empanadas).

Both our meals tasted great, it was crispy there was flavor, meat was tender and shrimp was well seasoned.

While the person I was with enjoyed their drink, I was disappointed in mine. They got the Fresca and I got the Peraiso Perdido.

1 stars off for service because coming in we sat at the bar for a bit without being attended to, place did not seem that busy. While we were greeted sitting at the bar no one unattended to us and so I decided to grab menus from the front. We still waited for a bit before putting our orders in with a bar attendant.

This was my first here.We celebrated my sister birthday here n it was amazing.The service was good .I forget the gentleman name who service us but he was amazing and very professional.Food was good the atmosphere was very warm and nice,and the price for the food was ok.Will surely visit again.

We wanted to eat prior to watching a movie. We found Temazcal with a direct connection. I went with the pollo (chicken) tacos and they were soooo good! The combination of flavors was surprisingly light and savory. Their chips and salad were offered as well. The red sauce is slightly sweet but with a touch of heat which made it even better.

I’ve never had a bad meal here! No wait for lunch on a Friday afternoon- I’m sure it’ll be a different story on a Friday night or the weekend! Service was very good. Food was also very good. My friend and I got the shrimp quesadilla, verde enchiladas, and a side of the Aculpulco street corn cob. I didn’t get a drink this time around- but their cocktails are usually very tasty!

Alright, I’ve read a lot of reviews and don’t understand why this place has 3-stars (on 02/24/21).
Yes, I agree that serving and cooking time is very important, but when you go to the restaurant, you always expect to spend 1,5-2 hours minimum. If you wait for 10-15 min longer, it is not a reason to put 1-3 stars.

Now, my review.
I was here during the COVID in December. I didn’t see any delays with food. Everything was served super quick. We even wished to make it longer, but they cooked and served everything right after our drinks.

All drinks were unbelievable! Really. The next day I went to the liquor store to get the same ingredients and make the same cocktail, but I was a fiasco.

The food...mmm...I dream of comeback and order that chicken and fish tacos with corn on the side. Man, it was delicious.
Also, we got complimentary chips with two or three different dips.

The staff was great as well! Very nice, polite and friendly!

I will define go back there in a couple of weeks!

Had to wait 30 minutes for a table that was empty the entire time we waited. House made salsa was delicious. The shrimp fajitas were great. Enough for 2 meals.

Service could definitely be better but it's hard to knock this place because of the absolutely delicious food. Seriously the best tacos I have ever had in my life, I rave about this place all the time to friends. Highly recommend the Tacos Mechados or the Grilled Salmon Tacos. The chips and they bring at the start of the meal are also delish!

Party of 6. Everything we had from apps to dessert was excellent. Our waiter, I believe his name was Gervis was great, from taking order, to watering table, to clearing. Very polite, professional, never intrusive. Will definitely be back and recommend.

The outdoor area was comfortable with heaters on, the fireplace carried romantic flair, drinks were made perfectly, food was delicious with good portions. Jess was a very pleasant and professional waitress. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

First time dining at this location. I went for lunch and it wasn't busy. The server was great, very friendly. I love that they bring you chips and salsa and this bean dip before your food. I ordered tacos and as usual it was incredible. Would highly recommend!

Visited on a summer week day and we were tempted to get one of the outdoor tables, however a neverending car alarm prevented us to do so. That said, I strongly encourage you to try it when you visit. Service was excellent, from the hostess to our waiter and server. The drink selection is quite large with a typical selection of beers on tap and more available by bottle. They offer 5 different tequila flights to satisfy your 'spirited' curiosity. The food was exceptional. The Carne Empanadas are big and the meat inside is tender and flavorful. You can leave your expectations of small coctel-sized unsatisfying empanadas outside because these ones will blow your mind in size and taste. At the time of this post, there were 6 taco options and they all are served with black beans and one of the best Mexican rice we've tasted. We had the Mechados and the Birria. Oh boy were they tasty! especially the Birria, ohh the Birria and the consomé on the side to dip it in! You will not be disappointed.

Great Mexican restaurant in Legacy plaza area in Dedham. Huge selection of tequila with multiple page tequila menu. The chicken tacos, fajitas and roya enchiladas was all very good. The guacamole appetizer was very good with some spiciness from fresh jalapenos mixed into it.

Based on some of the reviews that I read on here, I was a little skeptical on coming to this particular restaurant. But due to the fact that it was Cinco de Mayo my friend and I decided to go and try it out anyways. The wait was a little long but definitely worth it. We were very lucky because we ended up finding seats at the bar and it was phenomenal. Our bartender Emmie was incredible and extremely attentive to us even though it was super busy. The atmosphere behind the bar among the other bartenders and wait staff was lively and their energy was amazing. Another bartender that was working extremely hard was Rafael. Even though the restaurant was packed they still had a smile on their faces the whole time and enjoyed what they were doing. Thank you Emmie and Rafael was making our first experience at Temazcal a great one. Everything that we ordered off the menu was absolutely delicious. From their signature drink Pina Picante, to the chicken and shrimp fajitas to their Mexican brownie dessert. 😋 Once again thank you guys 😊

Its all good. I came back tonight. Food was awesome. Staff was great. Had the short rib dinner last night and pork dinner tonight. Very tasty I must say. Go for it...I had my meal at the Bar and I must say the staff is great....thanks for having me.

Had such a great experience here! Absolutely delicious food! We had seafood paella and chicken quesadilla!! And churros for dessert! Great service! Highly recommend!

I was skeptical of this place at first, $15 for guacamole? But the chips and salsa were free, and outstanding. Fresh chips and three different salsas is a really good start, and so filling that we skipped the guac and just ordered an entree. The shrimp in a garlic wine sauce was exceptionally delicious, we would go back for that again, but there are so many other interesting things on the menu that sounded good. Next time we'll try the guacamole 🥑

Manager Kimley was AWESOME. He was very attentive to everyone at the restaurant and very friendly. My boyfriend is allergic to a few things and he quickly recognized our order had something he couldn’t have and quickly changed our food. Our experience started off not so well, but he made it great. Will be back because of him !

Had the absolute best sever but now I’ve forgotten his name. In any case, a memorable experience because of him and the excellent margaritas.

We loved the food here. We are vegetarians and ordered quesadillas, nachos, corn fritter cakes, vegetable tacos , margaritas [ besos, fresca] . Great experience , tasty dips, salsas . Loved it
