Hampton Inn & Suites Duluth North/Mall Area

Well maintained and reasonably priced. Its too far from the Duluth city center to be able to see the downtown skyline from the building. View on the opposite side isn't particularly great either. Staff is friendly and check-in / check-out process is smooth. Plenty of parking. They also offer a discount if you eat at the Texas Roadhouse opposite to the building. Super close to the Cub foods grocery store too.

One of the beat Hampton Inns I have stayed at. It was very clean and updated. The staff was friendly and warm, which was appreciated during the frigid temperatures. The gym was large with plenty of room and equipment. The location is near many of restaurants and shopping opportunities. I will definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to return to Duluth.

This hotel was wonderful. We took a trip to Duluth with our 2 kids (age 10, 2) . The rooms are spacious and very clean! The bathroom is big. Thr service was great! Very nice employees. The free breakfast was delicious! The only thing the family said they didn't like was the small pool, but that's ok because we weren't at the hotel much anyway, we were sight seeing. But for the 30-45 min swim break it was perfect. Great experience with this hotel.

Loved the friendly greeting upon arrival. Room was nice and spacious. Shower had hot water quickly and drained well. Bed was comfortable. I had a great view of the sunset. Location was easy to get to with plenty of complimentary parking. The complimentary breakfast was good. Only negative was that the computer was down. For guests staying for business reasons, computer access is nice to have.

We stayed here one Saturday night after exploring the downtown area a bit and enjoying dinner! Check-in was very smooth, we used the laundry room which was very clean and asked for extra towels in the room. The bed was sooo comfortable. In the morning my wife and I got some breakfast and wow, that was fantastic! Great spread of items available, all freshly made. What made the experience great however was the incredibly sweet attendant who was checking on everyone, keeping the buffet items clean and helping clean up after you were finished. The service was superb and she really seemed to enjoy helping others. All around a great stay!

This is the first property our large family has stayed that is by far beyond a 5 star it's more like a 10. We have stayed in a Hampton Inn a few times the past month and this one seems to be the most impressive. Our room was spacious, very clean and even the elevators smelled clean. Good breakfast everyday, clean establishment, comfy beds, the entire hotel smells clean, great staff and they dont charge you for extra things if you forget/need them. We had six in one room and four in a connected room. We loved that our rooms had an electrical main switch to turn off ALL lights and the entrance to the bathroom was separated with a barn door - toilet/tub was an additional room. We just loved our room. We asked for an extra hour check out since we needed time and it was no issue with the Assistant General Manager Tiffany Prescott. We were impressed with her customer service and attention to detail- we observed Tiffany checking on the breakfast and housekeeping staff. She runs an excellent hotel operation.

We rested as a family, loved it! The hotel is pleasant, quiet around the place, next to the Italian restaurant. The room was spacious, very clean, but it would have been nice if there was a heating in the bathroom. Our room was on the ground floor, comfortable, but the audibility from the top of the stomping neighbors was in the way. Breakfast is delicious, food is hot. Great jacuzzi and pool. We will definitely choose this hotel on our travels.

Very nice stay! My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the area. Check in had me a bit nervous as their computers were having issues after a power outrage, but they had rooms assigned and cards coded and waiting for us. Our room was a king wet bar suite and it was nice and spacious. Everything was clean aside from something stuck in the wetbar drain. We handled that and enjoyed our stay overall. The beds are a bit stiff, as is the couch, but still a room we could relax in. Only down side was the TV is in the middle of the room, not facing the bed or couch, so you have to turn the whole base to get it watchable, which is scratching the surface it sits on. Also the breakfast was kinda hit or miss and the gal that was handling that area seemed annoyed with people in her space.

Great spot to stay when traveling to Duluth. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Very reasonable rates. Breakfast was very good. Lots of parking.
Conveniently located by Miller Hill Mall, Texas Roadhouse and Olive Garden.
Will definitely be back.

This property has a Great Team that is friendly and they will take care of you! It is clean! Close enough to any attraction!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

4 stars for the rooms because the area inside and outside of the shower needed cleaning. Kitchen and dining area was spotless and the hostess was observed cleaning above and beyond expectations.

We stayed here in January of this year during a weekend family vacation that we took. This hotel is awesome and love the location with easy accesses to everything without the price tag of the Hsrbor! Rooms were great, Our daughter loved the pool, and we had great interactions with the employees. This what Hilton is all about and why I only stay at Hilton properties when I travel.

It was a great hotel. Very family and Earth friendly. Awesome breakfast, everything you could think of. I did like the sliding doors in the room. There was no way to lock the bathroom and it ended up being a hazard.The kids kept hurting themselves and I shut my husband's hand in it. Just to small of a space for a heavy door.

Beautiful new hotel near Duluth'S shopping mecca. You can't even feel the motion of the elevators. Everything is top-notch!

I love the Hampton! Never disappointed when I stay here. Wonderful breakfast choices, polite and clean staff. The rooms always have a nice feel and smell to it when I walk in. If I trust anyone with a hotel stay the Hampton is always my first choice. Mall area and food choices near by are really nice as well (within walking distance actually)

The king beds are a little bit short for taller people. MN ice breakfast and seating area. Pool and hot tub are really clean and big, almost spa like

Had a great stay here! The staff was very friendly and my room was perfect. There was a very respectable excersize room and pool that I enjoyed. I will definitely return to this place. It is true there isn't a bar here but a short walk across the parking lot to Texas Roadhouse solved this dilemma!

Very helpful front desk staff when I had some issues with my reservation. They were able to extend my reservation last minute. Room was beautiful, clean, and spacious!
Tv has full cable access. Breakfast was delicious- tons of options!! Waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, oatmeal, juices, smoothies, pastries, bagels, breads and more!
