Walmart Supercenter

Love the clearance selections. Looks really good in there, but I also feel like it's super high class for walmart. They're changing the clothing section and it looks amazing, but the new clothes are expensive for my budget.

They had what I was looking for, if you're ever in the southern part of Otsego County and need to shop for clothes this is the place. Loved the store outlook too and the selections although I didn't buy a lot of stuff here since I'm not local.

On 12/09/2023 Around 6:00pm at the oneonta ny Walmart I was checked out by a punk looking cashier. Younger, they said nine siblings!?!. Don’t know if you can identify this beautiful soul by this description, but, I hope you do. I’ve been having struggle after struggle this year with no give. Everytime I think I’m about to succeed I fall flat on my face. My daughters disease coming out of remission, on the verge of homelessness with my sick child, my prior employer owing me $4,000.+, nobody hiring me after filling out 50+ applications, not being able to give my child christmas and then being embarrassed every time I go into Walmart because I get food stamps and people behind me in line making rude comments(usually) about me using foodstamps to feed my child. And food prices going up(can’t blame this on the store). Anyway back to the point this punkish cashier with 9 siblings, made my night, made me laugh and smile and for once in a very long time made comfortable with being in the store. Please Walmart if you can help anyone out this year with anything please give that associate the best bonus ever because they deserves it more than anyone. Anyways! Happy holidays.🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

It's Walmart. Cheap prices. Well stocked. Food store here too as well as Auto Center. Purchased tires and no complaints. Service was fast and professional. This is a super store so as to be expected it's huge. The staff is overworked but they do their best to be helpful.

Staff is always helpful, whenever I see an associate they're good at greeting me, I look forward to going here every week 😁

I absolutely love the option of having curbside pickup ordering all my items online and then calling them and telling them that I'm there waiting and they bring it right out I love that unless I decided I want to go shopping and just spend a few hours in the store so either way it's a win-win as far as I'm concerned Walmart always has everything I need in stock very rarely do they not I think the workers the employees up at this Walmart knowing answer or very wonderful they're very helpful knowledgeable professional and I like dealing with them so thank you Walmart in Oneonta New York on your loyal customer

Same as all other wally worlds... But we like this one in particular because the staff is always friendly and accessible.

Been to others where the staff actively avoids you, and if you happen to corner a staff member, they generally hate interacting with you... Not here though!

Pickup experience has been great. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking lot sucks, but oh well.

Walmart was a movie last night. Got lit in the canned food isle with the boys. Mad shorties, always come here to spit game. They also have red-box still for whatever reason. Recommend this walmart to all the brothers it's mad brazy yo.

Well stocked and there's actually cashiers open. But why rearrange the whole store, other than confuse shoppers and get them to spend more money buying stuff they normally wouldn't.

Had a wedding to go to last minute as I am I found all I needed in and out and love the remodeling in the oneonta store

I like the remodeling, more space and convenience.

I was walking around and thinking it was my first time at a Walmart. Plenty of parking and the place could use some updated lighting. Seemed a bit dim. Depending on what you get the prices are competitively priced against competitors. Got what I was looking for and they provided assistance immediately when ask. Friendly and customer service oriented.

It's a Walmart. Get the app. Get the linked credit card and join for all the shipping perks. This is the go to place for locals.
Pharmacy, Automotive, Food...

Currbside pick up is a great and convenient feature and most of what I order is always in stock. If not, they substitute your items, most of the time. The staff is always pleasant. The store is always neat and tidy. I do go in the store for my meat, deli and produce as I like to select my own. The deli needs sprucing up but the staff is always pleasant.

It's a Walmart, nothing special. Everyone has seen the People of Walmart, and read the stories of insane things happening at Walmarts. That being said, this is a pretty good Walmart, as Walmarts go. The parking lot is safe, the store is clean, I don't know of anyone cooking meth in the aisles (that actually happened (multiple times, I think) Google it).

I'm not sure who actually reads reviews of Walmarts, but I decided to write a review anyway.

Generally you can find what you need, there are enough employees so that you can find someone within five minutes if you have a question, and the store is kept in pretty good condition, both stock-wise and condition.

I've been in unbelievably bad Walmarts, and exceptionally good Walmarts (check out the Saratoga Springs store, it's wild how "upscale" it is). I don't go around trolling Walmarts, I live in Oneonta and was only in the Saratoga Springs store because I had to repair a phone system.

Long and short, there's nowhere else to go for a lot of things, so this is your only option, and it could be a lot worse.

There used to be a Kmart in the mall next door that was never kept up as well as this Walmart is, especially at the end of its life. Many people will say Walmart killed off all the competition, but Eddie Lampert managed to destroy an American icon all by himself.

Did my first pick up order, just for fun to see how the process worked. Built my cart online, follow directions, called when I got there all my items were ready. Frozen items were in great shape. Although I love going into the store I will use this service again. In general my store is a pretty good one. The staff is helpful and friendly.

The vision center was GREAT. The store in general neat and reasonably stock, staff friendly. But EVERY WOMENS BATHROOM WAS MESSY/DIRTY. NO TOWELS TO DRY HANDS. IN STALLS TOILET PAPER ON FLOOR. BROKEN DISPENSERS. SOME TOILETS FILTHY.. I had been there in November the bathrooms were spotless. And it didn't seem like they were short handed either time.
