Falafel plate was delicious! I dove in so fast, I forgot to get a photo, but the portion. Was generous. The owner asked if I was vegan or vegetarian to make sure I got the correct side sauce. Thank you. My only wish was that I had asked for extra pickles because YUM!

First time there. Clean, very friendly, quick service. The food was fantastic. I will absolutely be back. I also had the lamb gyro that I had taken to go. It was amazing. Great meal!

I'm from Philly and I just had my first "Philly cheesesteak" in the area from Star Mix. Its absolutely delicious and the price was perfect at $14. Feels like I'm back home. 10/10 will order again.

We were a party of four and my daughter is wheelchair bound. The owner and waitress we're extremely helpful. The food was excellent and service was great. Two thumbs up 👍👍

Tim and Sohail make you feel like you're at their home while taking care of you...place is CLEAN..food was FRESH&DELISSSHHHH...had the lamb and chicken..wife had chicken...WOWWW!!!....While waiting for our food customers were in and out picking up steak sandwiches...for sure trying them next time....their fries were excellent as was their seasoned potatoes...but the other stars of the show were the feta cheese...so fresh..not salty...the hummus was the best we've ever had and the falafel...omg the falafel...my wife takes small..very small bites just to try and NEVER likes....but these...again the BEST I've ever had....definitely worth a try if your around there

It is exactly as described in the other reviews. Both the flavor, and quantity of lamb un the wrap were exceptional. I also thoroughly enjoyed the house hot sauce

Just decided to revisit Star Mix and purchased my favorite: Meat Lover's Crepe. Spectacular! I wish I had two!

The food is made fresh to order and the best I've found in Oneonta. The owners are super friendly and very helpful, this has become my go to restaurant.

WOW what absolutely delicious food! I stopped in for a sit-down lunch with a lamb/chicken shawerma wrap and knew after one bite I had to order a second for takeout to enjoy later – it’s that good! The meat and veggie filling was generous and oh so tasty, and the wrap bread was flaky and perfect. And the wrap bread is seared on a grill, leaving brown heat stripes that adds a nice aesthetic touch. Enjoyed a fun chat with the great owner and staff and looking forward to a next visit.

Ahh, I think this place is good and reminds me of the city quite a lot. I love the shawarma they serve, as well as the gyros, wraps, and all the sides they have to offer!

I usually stop by here most of the time with my beautiful significant other, and we both love this place dearly! The food is really good, and the service is excellent.

Additionally, the atmosphere is cozy, and the music they play is great. It's the perfect spot for a casual lunch or dinner.

Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine or is looking for a delicious meal. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

I drive 40 minutes just for the food here we always get the gyros and the beef or chicken with rice and salad. They are always super friendly and they know me by my order every time. Just a lovely family owned restaurant.

Amazing food, low enough prices where it is an absolute steal! It's hours are a little annoying, but every time it is open and I am in town I go there! Love the lamb gyro above alp other food you can find in Oneonta.

The flavor of the food is unreal. Fresh, delicious, and always a good choice. Worth the drive to Oneonta to support a family operated establishment. Very clean. All precautions taken to ensure you have a good experience. I highly recommend the mixed meat gyro.

I love Star mix and their food so much. The owners are so wonderful and the food is crafted with clear passion and love. i recently came to find that alongside some fantastic falafel they also serve some of the best burgers oneonta has to offer. Today I happily ordered a burger knowing how wonderful it was going to be. While I waited, I was disturbed to hear a woman berating the staff about her “slimy” burger (that she ate in its entirety). I couldn’t believe my ears as she whined that her burger wasn’t dry enough (she requested that it be well done and nearly burnt, so we can all assume her taste was as wretched as her attitude). As unfortunate as this display of adult baby syndrome was, I felt inspired to finally write my long overdue 5 star review of this wonderful place.

I can’t say enough good things about Star Mix. The food here is phenomenal and reasonably priced…not to mention very unique compared to other options in Oneonta. The owners are incredibly nice and are always willing to tweak the order to your liking. As others have said, it’s truly a gem of the ‘City of the Hills’ food scene.
