Five Star Subaru

What a fantastic experience I just had leasing my 2024 Forester with Tom at Five Star Subaru 🌟 I had some questions and he responded very promptly! Would definitely recommend doing business here! It's like family!!

Curtis was the service manager who handled my service needs today. Everything was done correctly, quickly, and with a smile. Our 2022 Outback is my third Outback. It is a marvelous car. I am a big man, and Like most tall persons, I really need a driver’s seat that fits and cradles my back My wife and I feel safe in it, and it is a beautiful automobile to boot. Every time we come here for service since leasing of our first car, we’ve had phenomenal service. It is the only car we would buy we love Subaru, we love the Five Star Subaru dealership here in Oneonta, we love the people who work on it and the service managers who shepherd the car through whatever work has to be done. I can’t say more than this: my wife is just as pleased with the car and the service and the service managers.

I was referred here for a check engine light. I had already paid hundreds of dollars with other mechanics and no one could figure out what the issue was. I went to a local Subaru dealership and they quoted me almost $2k with no guarantees it would solve the check engine. Five Star dealership took the time to diagnose my issue, and my bill wasn’t even close to $2k. The time that they took to figure out my issue makes me willing to travel the extra distance here to have quality service. This will be my #1 choice when car shopping because of their customer service. It’s well worth the drive if you’re far, and if you’re close, you’re lucky!

The whole experience was positive and completed in as timely a manner as possible. My salesperson, Jeff, was organized and thorough as we moved through the process. He answered all my questions and was very professional. He introduced me to the service department and to Jessica, the tech advisor. I’m very happy with the dealership and love my new Crosstrek.

Five star Subaru came highly recommended and now I see why. Great dealer service, friendly, kind, patient and they were able to get insurance, credit financing, registration and inspection all done within a very short time. Thank you for being a part of my answered prayers.😊

Over the years I have bought and leased 6 Subarus from Five Star Subaru. In my experience they have been an excellent dealership. The sales people who have helped me with my purchases or leases have made the process easy and quick. Five Star has communicated with me at regular intervals about service on my car. The service department has always had my car ready when they said the work would be completed. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient.

How lucky am I to be able to have my car taken care of at 5 star Subaru?! I love this place. The people are so chill and friendly and kind and treat each individual like part of the family. I’m so glad I got to have the pleasure of discussing my car’s needs with Gary. He is thoughtful and knowledgeable and helpful. I trust him and his suggestions and I trust the work coming out of this place. I will get my next car from them as well. I’m a huge fan!

Five Star Subaru is an excellent dealership. I am on my fourth Subaru and have yet to be disappointed by the customer service in any of the departments. The service guys are top notch and Curtis has always been friendly and ready with a smile! Great place to purchase and service!!!

We've bought several Subarus from 5 Star Subaru in Oneonta NY. The entire staff there is most helpful. They truly take care of their customers. Fast and friendly service is the norm. A few times in the past my wife had to have some maintenance done on her Subaru. If they for some reason can't complete the work by the end of the day, they let her take a loaner car home so she can get to work the next day. Hard to find that kind of service. So when my daughter decided to get a new Subaru, it was a no brainer to go to 5 Star Subaru and find George! I'm sure the other salespeople are also very good as well. Highly recommend 5 Star.

Five Star Subaru have been taking care of my 10-year-old car, purchased earlier this year (from somewhere else). They’ve done what they sad they would, and charged what they quoted—very affordable rates. They have been pleasant and responsive in every interaction. I’m so pleased I found the right place to take my car!

Been going to 5 star for probably 7 or so years now. Never had any issues, can usually get you in pretty quickly for what I think is a fair price. Haven’t once had an issue with any of the work they’ve done, their technicians definitely seem to be competent as far as I can tell. I trust them that they’re not up charging me and and looking for work that doesn’t need to be done. The obvious choice if you own a Subaru, I’ve brought my Chevy to them a few times even.

Steve Murphy did an awesome job taking care of me. I test drove the vehicle and drove away with it the same day!!

Tom, Kurt, and John are all awesome members of the service dept who I’ve had the good fortune to work with. Regardless of which one is helping you, they all have time to greet you, check in with you and see how you’re doing. They make you feel valued and respected, and they take pride in providing a favorable experience for you as a customer. Their communication is clear and effective, and they combine knowledge of your car with the social skills to break it down in a way that makes sense to the regular person. I was visiting the area and had an issue with a wheel loosening up—an ongoing issue—and I should mention that my car isn’t a Suburu The guys at Five Star Subaru were able to fit me in, diagnose the issue and come up with a plan to get me on the road. Dan, the master mechanic, walked me through several options until we agreed on the best one. They kept me up to date on their progress while I was waiting. Thankfully, I made it home in one piece thanks to Dan and the whole service team at Five Star. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. If I am in the market for a Suburu I will definitely buy it here, as well as recommend them for service as well.-

Five star Subaru is so true to their name. They are as quick and as efficient as they can be when it comes to service. They also have the most friendly staff members. Every person you see will acknowledge you and say hello. You will truly not have a better service or dealership experience than you would at Five Star Subaru. I can’t recommend them enough!
