Far Out Ice Cream

Stopped in after our volleyball league ended, I ordered the sandworm after my friend recommended it because it was themed after the Dune 2 movie! The combinations are really interesting, they literally mix ice cream with the fruit altogether, I was expecting the fruit to be at the bottom of the cup. We also got another ice cream cup mixed with a bunch of other ingredients and that was really delicious as well. They don't really give you a lot of ice cream which is good because you don't really feel like you're absolutely stuffed afterwards.

my partner and i had never had Nee Zealand style ice cream before, and now we’re big fans! If you prefer lighter desserts over other usual options, this is the place for you. the staff was very friendly and the ice cream was prepared much faster than we expected since it’s all made fresh to order. would definitely recommend!

Far out ice cream is a delicious experience and Coolidge corner. They have seasonal ice creams that don't disappoint and it always feels fresh! Only downside is it can be expensive, but it's always worth it! Thank you for the great ice cream. The service is efficient since everyone orders themselves on an iPad and there is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

I ordered the Matcha Mango and Strawberry Graham cake flavors. They all tasted very fresh like soft ice cream. The flavors are not super strong but good enough. They offer 1+1 for coffee and a few more sale coupons on Uber eats. If anyone wants to try Far Out, this is the perfect timing.

Unique tasty ice cream with great vegan options, lighter and not as sweet as usual icecreams so add toppings if you want more flavor. It was fun to see how the machines worked as well

How delicious! Wanted to try the seasonal apple flavors 🍎 but they didn’t offer it in the mini size :( so I got the Raspberry Mudslide and it was delightful! Sometimes the detours take you to equally yummy destinations 🤠

You can customize your ice cream by mixing flavors and fruits with no or little additional payment. Their shop is clean, bright and full of local people. Good place to drop in on a hot day!

What a New Zealand Style Ice Cream! I has such a great experience here. They mix ice cream 🍦 with fresh fruit. My favorite is the strawberry and blueberry mix with premium vanilla ice cream. It’s also fun to watch how they make an ice cream as well.

We hired Far Out Ice Cream for our Columbus Day outdoor painting event in Gloucester, MA. We could not have been happier. The 150 (plus) visitors enjoyed the day looking at artwork and eating ice cream. Far Out arrived on time, set up quickly and they were ready to serve at the time we scheduled. The service was fast and friendly and the ice cream was absolutely delicious with seasonal flavors like caramel apple. Thank you, Far Out!

Really unique ice cream concept. Vegan options are equally good as dairy options here. Highly recommended for non dairy folks.

Super cute ice cream shop in Brookline! Felt slightly healthier than normal ice cream since fruit is mixed in (although there’s an option for no fruit as well). Super light, creamy, tasty, plus wonderful quick service. My husband got the waffle cone and said it was amazing too! We’ll definitely be coming back.

I really like this shop and like to go about once or twice a month for special occasions or if it’s gross hot out. I am a big fan of a the kookaberry flavor.

The only the thing they may need to work on is the consistency of the serve. My most recent trip today looked like a kiddie compared to the past, but to be fair I think the girl was really new since I watched her try a second attempt at making the ice cream. I think it’s fairly priced because it is a treat but I’d like to see a similar amount from visit to visit.

Okay I didn't really get why there was a line, I thought Far Out was going to be regular ice cream yknow?

However, I really enjoyed the ice cream blended with fruit. It tasted so refreshing! You can add a number of fruits as well so the combinations are endless.

I felt lied to cause i thought kookaberry was something cool but it's just strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry LMAO.

Best order though is : Chocolate ice cream blended with banana and cocoa flakes. You're welcome.

A lovely place for ice cream. The ice cream feels refreshing with real fruits in it. You can watch how they make the ice cream too. The kookaberry (mix of strawberry) is not too sweet, and the NZ colada is really perfect for summertime. You can choose dairy-free ice cream base as well. However, seatings are very limited when I came so I don't recommend having large group gatherings here. The store is super busy with like 12 seats and 5 small tables.

Excellent, friendly and helpful service! My child has food allergies (dairy and wheat), and the person working the counter helped us find safe choices, and without asking used clean equipment to make her order. Very tasty and fresh ingredients! I loved the Affogatto.

Awesome ice cream shop! Firstly. The ice cream itself is delicious and tastes fresh and isn't too sweet. The atmosphere of thr shop is trendy and simple, which adds to the new age vibe you get from the place. Finally the staff are super friendly and helpful in choosing ehat you want, I mean you can pick more than one fruit so the combos gotta go together well. Definitely 10/10 would recommend for a date night or for a quick fruity ice cream!

Good ice cream! We got the "Raspberri Mudslide". It had chocolate ice cream with little pieces of raspberries and chocolate flakes mixed in, with a chocolate drizzle. Loved how you could crunch on the little pieces of raspberries and flakes. The ice cream was soft and smooth, kind of like a soft serve but a little more thick. Not the cheapest place but very tasty. You order at the touchscreen terminals in the back, btw.

Definitely a must visit because the ice creams and blendies are so good!!! Loved it!
