Staz-a-Licious Bakery & Cafe

We ordered a rainbow cake for our celebration in Virginia Beach. It was so beautiful and it tasted amazing and very moist! All the workers in the bakery were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely buy a cake from here whenever we visit Virginia Beach! They also had yummy samples for you to taste when picking up your order. We love this bakery. We wish you had a location in New Jersey.

We love Staz-a-Licious! Haven't had a baked item that we haven't enjoyed. Particularly enjoy the quiches, bear claws, scones, cinnamon rolls, and chocolate treats. Stopped in the other day and got a crustless quiche lorraine (love the crusted ones too), a peanut butter cup, and another treat that I'm pretty sure had coconut and was very good.

Don’t go here unless you want to start going to regularly. As a certified chocoholic. The flourless tort, cookie dough pie and brownie are truly best of breed. The bear claw sandwiches are delicious. After first stop planning to be a frequent flyer :-). For sure it’s worth the trip!

I was recommended this place by my family to order a graduation cake and needless to say, Staz-a-Licious did not disappoint! Having designed my cake from scratch, they nailed almost every detail on it! I was super stoked upon picking up my grad cake, and was even starstruck to even say anything just because of how fantastic it looked haha. The strawberry and red velvet flavors were quite tasty as well! A huge thank you to Ms. Stacy, Lauren, Anna, and the rest of the team over at this location! You guys rock and knocked it out of the park with this one. I appreciate you all :D

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! I dont remember the persons name who decorated the cake i think her name was Amber but i definitely could be wrong but she did amazing the cake is beautiful and delicious and we will be back in a few weeks for my youngests cake.

All their food is fantastic! It's worth it to ask ahead if they have cruffins (the absolute best!) To top it off the service was great. Super friendly and happy to walk you through the choices.

I ordered a French number cake & custom monster Macarons for my sons birthday, everything was amazing! Not only did it taste delicious but they looked beautiful!

Bought a chocolate mousse and ordered a red velvet cake. Both were amazing! I especially LOVE the cream cheese frosting!!! Nice, moist cake! They have a nice selection of pastries and other goodies too. The goods may seem pricey, but its all made in house and are so good!! Thank you

So excited to have a great French bakery right down the road. The crossiants and bearclaws are a huge hit with our guests and are always requested when anyone comes to town. While you are picking up your pastries get a breakfast crossiant with egg and sausage, so buttery and flakey! I knew I had to have them do my birthday cake and Gateaux knocked it out of the park. It was super flavorful and the only feedback was more of the amazing raspberry filling, it was just too good. The design had great attention to detail for a great price! The marshmellow fondant accents were actually edible and tasted good, haven't ever said that before! Love having a go to bakery, keep up the great work!

My son’s birthday was coming up and I decided to contact Gateaux Bakery for a special request of individually wrapped cake pops for my son’s classroom celebration. In the past, we have tried a few sweet treats from Gateaux Bakery that a family friend let us sample of their milk bread, brownies, and cake. Everything we have tried has been delicious. The sweet treats are always packaged nice and taste fresh. So when I was in the market for cake pops, I immediately thought of Gateaux Bakery.

I had a hard time finding a full menu anywhere online, and I ended up calling them about my request. The very kind lady that answered couldn’t give me a firm answer about being able to make the individually wrapped cake pops and told me the baker, Ashley, would have to call me back the next day to confirm my request. I didn’t receive a call back next day, but did receive a call back 48 hours later from Ashley. Ashley was very accommodating. I requested twenty-four individually wrapped cake pops- twelve chocolate over chocolate cake pops with rainbow sprinkles and twelve white chocolate over yellow cake pops with rainbow sprinkles. All would be individually wrapped for $36 for pick-up the following week (at my request). I had to pay for the order in advance over the phone, since it was a special request, but I felt it was a reasonable request. Plus, I felt good about the conversation I had with Ashley.

And when I went to pick up my order the following week, I must say, Gateaux Bakery DELIVERED! Not only were the cake pops individually wrapped and separated by flavor, they were individually secured with a metallic twist tie and carefully placed in a nice box for safe keeping. I was also pleasantly surprised how large the cake pops were- about an inch and a half in diameter. My son was very excited about his cake pops and said they were a big hit with the students and teachers. I didn’t have a chance to sample one, but I was told they were delicious.

I am very pleased with Gateaux Bakery. They were accommodating to my special request, reasonably priced, and ensured I was a happy customer! I’ll be patronizing this bakery more often and highly recommend them.

Ordered a cake with a two day notice, and it's the best cake I've ever had in my life. 10/10 will come back for every family members birthday.

My sister custom-ordered a number cake for me for my birthday and it turned out so pretty and delicious! It was reasonably priced and the toppings tasted fresh. I would highly recommend!

I ordered a red velvet with cheesecake filling cake for my daughter's 13th birthday. All I can say was the cake was out if this world!! I picked it up the morning of and it had been made fresh that morning. Thank you for making her day so special!!

Once you walk in it smells amazing! Very happy atmosphere. Breakfast sandwich was huge and the quality is unmatched. 110% recommended!

This place just made me a customer for life. Not once did I even have to go to the bakery, everything was done via phone and e-mail and I got nothing short of perfection. Oceana was so great the whole way through. I needed a very involved cake on short notice and after calling around to 5 other bakeries Gateaux said it would be no problem. I e-mailed them a photo of what I wanted and got more than I could've imagined. Not only did the cake LOOK amazing, it tasted out of this world (pun intended). I got a funfetti flavored cake that, now 5 days later has held up so nicely and the cake itself was moist and flavorful. They got this cake made on time and exceeded my expectations. Hats off to the baker and this company!

This place is just the best and I dont come here enough. I love all the different choices of fresh baked items. There are so many things to choose from, and it's hard not to just buy everything. There is savory, sweet, and fantastic bread. You have to check this place out.

I would highly recommend and can't wait to eat more.

Delicious cupcakes! My boss saw an article featuring cupcakes decorated for the 2019 Masters golf tournament. He "needed" these cupcakes so off we go... They didn't have any available at that moment but offered to make them in his less than 24 hour timeline. It was slightly less than $3 a cupcake based on his order a dozen, which is a great price considering the detail. I picked up a chocolate peanut butter bear claw before we left. It was very good.
Next day we pick them up right on time. I tasted one, now a day later, and WOW! was it yummy! It tasted amazing and it was already 1.5 days old. I can't wait to go back and sample some more treats!
