We go to The Bean for breakfast, but their lunch menu looks good too. They have amazing pastries and coffee. The meat and vegetarian omelets are both excellent and come with great potatoes. This place is a regular stop whenever we're in Mesilla.

The breakfast quesadilla was so tasty and huge. We shared. The cinnamon scone was the best we’ve had. Our Barista Sarah was attentive and efficient. What a great employee. thank you

A nice place for breakfast or lunch. Outdoor seating is a must for the beautiful patio. This is a good place to go have coffee and take time out. Definitely go if you have time to chill. This is not a place to go if you are in a hurry. The food is good and the prices are reasonable.

This is a great spot for breakfast with both indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee was tasty and the veggie omelet delicious with just the right amount of green chile! Staff are friendly and the location is tranquil.

We were there for breakfast; the food was good especially their Green Chili Pozole. You order at the counter and wait service brings it out. Waitress provided us with any extras we needed. Nice patio too!

Omg this place was so amazing. We had a bad experience with the restaurant we came to before coming here and this was just a breath of fresh air. Incredible service, we barely waited 10 mins for our food and the quality of the food was incredible. We ordered the breakfast burrito which was so amazingly flavorful and the spicy turkey melt is delicious the only thing I would change is switching out cherry tomatoes for slices Roma tomatoes. Our coffee was so fresh and delicious flavor. And the pozole!! Oh my goodness, it was so delicious, maybe a little bit more meat but the flavor was so exciting and authentic. We will return to try more and more menu items. Me and my little family highly recommend this beautiful spot for breakfast brunch or lunch!!

Love The Bean!
Google has this listed as a hotel?
It’s a restaurant, not a hotel.
The Josefina’s hotel shut down two years ago. The dining part became The Bean at Josefina’s (or “The New” Bean”), a great coffee, breakfast and lunch place.

New coffee experience. Did not stay at the hotel, but the food was fresh and not heavy or overdone. Coffee was amazing. Quiet, cool, atmosphere. Will return for a wonderful light breakfast and great coffee.

Good tasty coffee, friendly service, a lovely atmosphere, and the food we ordered was surprisingly delicious! I say surprisingly because it's a coffee house. We were just in town for the weekend, but it was so good we came here 2 days in a row before we left back home. We ordered a blueberry muffin, breakfast burritos, and their avocado breakfast toast and the lavender toast! The green chile here is very tasty 🔥 I'm definitely coming back here when I'm in town! Por favor Josefina don't change anything, I'll be back!!

Delicious breakfast! The Autumn Latte is possibly the best latte I've ever had. I also had the Lavender Goat Cheese Toast and it is amazing. Just a lovely experience.

I hadn't been here since it was Josefinas. I ordered the pesto turkey sandwich with chips and a lavender lemonade. The service was friendly and quick. The sandwich was warm and delicious. The lavender drink was exquisite! We had our meal outside on the patio and it was perfect.

I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered the meat omelet and it was delicious! It came with toast (wheat, that's what we got, because they never asked if we preferred another type) and potatoes. They have bussers but no table service, you order before you sit, you're given a number and they deliver your food. If you want coffee or water, you serve yourself.

The Bean at Josephinas is a hidden gem. One of my favorite spots for coffee + brunch. I recommend the Oat chata latte + super bowl with green sauce but everything is delicious.

The customer service was fantastic here. The beer and wine that they serve here is one of a kind. We had a wonderful waitress her name was Ashley she was phenomenal and the manager was so nice. He came to our table and talked to us and made sure everything was good. I highly recommend the vegetarian options here. I'm a vegan and I was very happy with the selection they have for me. I am just passing through on vacation but, if I lived here I would be here all the time. I highly recommend it.

Had a pleasant brunch on a day full of sunshine. Love the large patio here and the feeling of being back in time. The coffee comes in huge mugs that keep you warm. The food is a plenty and very tasty! Enjoy!
