Bowlin's Mesilla Book Center

I love bookstores so went in pretty excited and wasn't disappointed. It is a charming store with tons of books, places to sit and browse, and a nice selection of knick knacks and gifts.

Fun, charming and organized store. Lots of history books and non fiction but has some used gems of all sorts. I never leave without a book, has great kids section. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Owner who orders the books brings their cute dogs sometimes.

Wonderful bookshop, located in a 4 room adobe building on the town’s main square. Great selection of books peculiar to the area and it’s history as well as best sellers and classic novels and books. Very well curated: on the day of our visit there was a display of books on campers, vans for camping, and little houses together with some toys of the same theme. Fun! Electic and educated taste, worth a stop to browse and enjoy the ambiance.

I love this bookstore. Such fun browsing among some very interesting books-I purchased my Holiday Cards here too. I enjoy the feedback from the employees & have fun petting & talking to their in store dogs.

Rare bookstore in the age of Amazon where you’ll find fiction and non-fiction about New Mexico, the West and Native Americans. Many books are unique because they’re published by the University of New Mexico Press and High-Lonesome Books in Silver City and they aren’t distributed in mass by Amazon or Barnes and Noble. A real treasure of a book store!

Such a cute place with so many amazing books and novelties. If you're lucky you might see their dogs there too! Love visiting here!!

They have a great variety of new books, and some old books, including a room devoted to children's books and a large number of books about New Mexico and the southwest. It has a perfect old bookstore feel!

A must if you love books. Good kid section too. Very patient with the little ones very friendly and good prices. Lots of local "flavor" (local history, Southwest history ETC)

Great little bookstores tucked into the beautiful mesilla area! It kind of reminds me of Ross where you can find some gold nuggets while going through their amazing collection.

Beautiful old building with many, many wonderful books. The girl who was working was just as great, she was very helpful and patient.
