Caliche's Frozen Custard

Service was phenomenal and fast! Came here with a very large group but they handled it very professionally. The custard is top notch and they have tons of options. The drive thru moved at a 0.72 car per minute rate. They also provided non-dairy options for our lactose free friends!

Would go again!!!!

Delicious treats as always! As a Chicago girl, finding a good all beef hot dog is important to me. And hard to do around here.

This place is terrific! I love frozen custard and Caliche's didn't disappoint. The brownie split was great, rich brownies, hot fudge and a cherry on top. The gizmo with salted pecans hit the spot.

Before the frozen custard we had a chili dog and a Frito pie hot dog. This place uses Nathan's hotdogs, so you knew they were terrific. I'm from Detroit, so I know a good coney when I eat one. These were great.

Want a good treat while in Las Cruces? Check out Caliche's. Can't go wrong with the Green Chile Sundae. They will let you sample before you buy. The customer service was excellent and well.

I chose the two hotdog special. I know it’s a bit messy in the picture but if it’s not messy then it’s probably not going to be good 😂 Absolutely delicious. The lemonade was very tart but delicious. All that was missing was strawberries and honestly I didn’t even pay attention to see if that was an option. This was my second experience here and it was every bit as good as the first. Both dogs were very delicious. The customer service is equally great. As far as pricing is concerned, it’s not an issue for me considering the quality and taste. I would rather pay the price knowing it’s going to taste good. Certain other restaurants are around the same price range and lack the taste. Great spot for dogs and sweet treats.

The custard was tasty and served quickly. There were lots of other people there and everyone was just hanging out around the building using their provided seating. A very nice place to hangout and relax with some friends while enjoying some phenomenal custards.

Excellent ice cream treats and other confections. Service was fast and pleasant as well. They have a drive through, but its super easy to just walk up and order. There are stalls to eat your food in your car. No benches, but most of the time, if you're coming here, it's too hot for them anyway.

They have lots of fruit sundae options, and they do floats. The Sundaes, Calichis, and Shakes all run about $6 and up. The cheapest option for your buck is the float. Mostly ice cream and they run about $3. One of these days I'm bound to try the Green Chile Sundae.

Always amazing. Can’t go wrong with a Gizmo salted. Service is usually very fast and the product is very consistent. You might end up with a touch of diabetes, but it’s totally worth it. The hot dogs are also totally excellent and very filling. Overall a great local hole in the wall you shouldn’t miss!

Caliche's is a staple for a reason! Only bummer they were out of the seasonal flavor."son of a peach" we really wanted to try it.

My husband loves this, because it offers good Coney Island style HOTDOGS - hard to find anymore. All kinds of good ol' hotdogs here. His favorite is the Texas Chili one. He also loves the MALTS. These are very old-fashioned. You just don't find these delicious, unusual drinks at many places. Don't be confused by the term "custard" - it means the rich hand-churned type of ice cream. The real stuff! And you can put all sorts of toppings on your "caliche." Always busy, and always worth the wait. A Las Cruces favorite. I like the rich ices! The staff is hard working and nice.

It was very nice. I took a take out and wait time was also not very long. It was delicious 😋.

Before it gets too hot enjoy your sundae or caliche on the shaded bences under the lovely Charlotte banks rose vines. Delicious options for a great sweet treat.

This place is awesome! The dogs were amazing (the Pucker Me and the Windy City). The custard is amazing. My whole family enjoyed the food and custard. They want me to plan our road trip back home around us visiting this place again...I just might; it's that good

The place is very nice. Plenty of seating Outdoors. Staff is very very friendly and their service is very fast. The best part though is the food, it is excellent and the prices are right!

Wow. Great place. They have a drive thru window and car service. Got a frito dog (chili dog with fritos) and the Mango dango custard. The hot fudge sundae is good also. It's the kind of meal you have to wash off of you after. Can't wait to come back. It's the sort of place you wish you knew about sooner. Great place to take visitors.

Best custard ANYWHERE! The custard is so creamy and good, but what is better is the options. You can make sundaes, concretes, have green Chile on your ice cream or enjoy a slice of baked apple pie! Wants something fruity - how about a strawberry shortcake or a berry swirl caliche?! The possibilities are endless! Great spot to sit and enjoy ice cream to next to parking area!!!

First time we tried the mango dango was back in 2006. Came back with my son today 4th of July 2021 and still tastes good!!!

We had frozen custard for Valentine's Day when we were in town for the night. It was delicious! A great local place!

Amazing smooth custard and great choices of toppings. Great staff. They quickly got my complex order done.
