Monterrey's Mexican Restaurant

Great little lunch spot. The service was great. The food was l little on the blan side. Its Mexican food. Should be a little spicy right? We really enjoyed the food here and the water was very nice.

We checked out Monterrey's after having a family fun day. The food was delicious. Service was on point. The waiter took our order and repeated it to make sure he had it right. The wait was not long at all. My family and I enjoyed the chunky guacamole with chips. The salsa was lacking in flavor, but the main dishes made up for it. The cheese sauce was the star. We ordered a side of cheese sauce to dip the taquitos in. The chimichanga had cheese sauce, and it added additional flavor to the rice and beans, and it was on the nachos. I would order a side of it to add to any dish. Oh, and make sure to order the frozen strawberry margarita. It was a nice compliment to my meal and a great way to cool down from the summer heat.

My husband and I went with some friends for dinner. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. Tania was very attentive and hospitable

Ordered lunch fajitas and lunch combination plate; the cuisines was tasty. The food came out so fast, I was out of there in 20 minutes. Authentic yet light in flavor, filling and traditionally comfortable dining room.
Restrooms were clean and waiter's service was fast.

I love the chicken soup! If you want something light, tasty, and hot during this cold weather, then this soup is for you!

They always put big chunks of fresh, white meat chicken in it along with fresh avocado! It has rice and a few other things but it’s so good. It’s served with chips and salsa on the side. The pictures I have really doesn’t do it justice!

Friendly staff, good food, family owned chain of restaurants. Love the chunky guacamole. The agave especial plate is my favorite. Their chicken wings are also really good if you aren't feeling Mexican food.

Love their beef Chimichangas with great Mexican rice and a salad. We go often enough that the waiters know us. Makes us feel we're among friends

Food was "perfectly" cooked!! I had the "Tres Amigos." The one thing I prefer are the 'corn' tortillas.

Sopa de pollo! There's something about chicken soup that heals everything. Weather changes brought a little stuffy nose so I head straight for this soup. Monterrey's Powder Springs did not disappoint. My bowl was full of chicken, rice, pico, and avocado. A squeeze of lime and some crumbled chips on top and I was in heaven. I could smell the fresh pico and jalapeno with every dip of my spoon. I like my soup "burn your tongue" hot and the broth was the perfect temperature. Pure deliciousness to the bottom of the bowl! Not many dine in guest last night but the to-go orders kept coming the hour I was there. My waiter was super attentive and kept my glass and chip bowl full. In fact every person who passed by checked on me. No wonder I heard a "regular" tell them they were like family and she loved them when she left. I usually visit the Smyrna/Concord & S. Cobb Drive location, but I will definitely be coming back to this one.

After work yesterday, my husband and I decided on Mexican. We were on our way to another one down Mackland but decided to go for a new spot. I must say that we were definitely not disappointed.
Food was fresh, delicious and the first Margarita in the area that was not just ice and cocktail mix. I had other plans after dinner that just had to wait for today.
We had an awesome waitress.
The decor was very inviting and fun.
Clean restroom was a definite plus.
We will definitely go back. Try the ceviche while you're there.

I love this restaurant and eat here often! They have tasty food and good lunch prices! I highly recommend a visit for a meal here!

Terrific Service as always I've been coming to this Monterey's for years and they never fail to impress. My server was Omar great server very attentive. Food is always extremely delicious.

We showed up at closing time with a party of about 20 people. They took us in, got our orders and got us fed in no time. Food was awesome as well!!

My "California Burrito" was SO BIG. It fed me for 3 meals! Good food and good service. We went on a Friday, and they were so very busy, but they didn't rush you, and all the staff members made you feel welcomed. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

2nd time eating here. Great customer service, drinks are awesome, & no long wait on receiving food! I will definitely go again 😋

If you've never tried this little Mexican restaurant you owe it to yourself to at least go in once this is my 1st time here food was incredibly delicious and I got the California burrito and it was packed and very tasty. I'm a truck driver so I'm all over the country this is one spot that I will definitely make it a point to come back to

Best place to get really good Mexican food and their chicken soup I have seen people walk out with gallons of it on cold days and for good reasons it’s perfect and the staff is super attentive and sweet
