Silver Comet Linear Park

This is a nice area of the Silver Comet Trail to enjoy your walk and get into fitness while you bike, walk, jog or hit the gym with a complete set of exercise equipment available for you to workout a sweat.

I'm a 40-something-year-old skater and I love this place I personally skate and have for a long time and I love it it's very diverse and kid friendly as well

We love this park! Family friendly and beautiful area. Do wish there was more covered areas for parents to sit at the park and it needs a mulch refill but we love it regardless

This is one of my favorite places to go ride my bicycle. Beautiful scenery through the forest very well maintained trail that is mostly flat. Very quiet.

I've wanted to bike the Silver Comet for many years. I can't wait to come back.

Love this park. From babies to older kids. There is something for each age group to enjoy. There is are sunny spots and shady ones. Also plenty of seating for adults to watch the children.

We love going to this park to hop on the silver comet near powder springs. The park is great to bring family to play basketball, play on a playground, eat at picnic tables, and even work out with the outdoor gym! Haters keep hating, Gonna keep skatin’! :)

If you're here for the park, you can play basketball at the covered courts at the far end of the parking, enjoy the new skate park, work out with some covered equipment, or bring the kids to the playground. Afterward, you can enjoy a light meal or treat from the snack bar (open seasonally). There's lots of parking and restrooms. If you're here for the trail, it's a great spot to get on. Go straight across at the trailhead for one of the many access points to downtown Powder Springs - this one takes you out to the KFC & McDonald's. Turn left to go towards Austell, and if you want to pick up the Wild Horse Creek Trail and the Carter Rd. parking lot. It's also a short walk to the covered outdoor gym and skate park. Turn right to head towards access points to downtown Powder Springs proper and Hiram, and if you want to pick up Lucile Trail. It's also a short walk to clearings with more picnic tables and the climbing gym for kids. Because of the park amenities, this park is a great spot for families to frequent. Depending on the time of day, you're going to have lots of foot traffic for kids, dogs, strollers, etc. Most of the trail is residential on one side for about half a mile in either direction. You are guaranteed to see lots of squirrels and maybe a cat, deer, or groundhog.

Check out Kevin for your refreshments at the concession stand. Nice guy. The kids love the playground and I love the stationary workout pavillion less than a mile from parking lot.

I loved the climbing structure and gym. The gym is under a pavilion so you aren't baking in the sun. The park even had a yummy little concession stand with reasonable prices. The cute little playground looks like a tree house. It also has some shade covers.

Cool place to take the kids... I didn't know that they have a workout area with free equipment! I would definitely recommend this park

Nice playground for kids, dope skate spot, great bike trail

Great playground for the kids, restrooms are accessible and really close to the park. The parking is not far from the play area.

I stopped walking the trail because of safety. But I have found an awesome walking partner who is also available at my time. I have also found the reason to go; I walk the trail because I know my muscles need movement. When I am ready to give up. I tell myself, "I am not here for vain reasons." My body needs it.

The young kids enjoy the play yard and the older ones enjoy the skate park.

Honestly I really like this place. The playgrounds are clean and unique. My kids enjoy them. They have a huge rope climbing area that kind of scares me (it's so tall!), but as long as my kids are careful they have a blast. The exercise equipment is cool. The trail is nice and well-kept. We will be back.

We absolutely love visiting this park. The kids enjoy the playground and the walking trails are amazing! Very clean and safe!

Good location! Clean and well kept. My 3 kids ages 12, 11 and 8 all enjoyed themselves. There are 2 play areas for different size kids. Safe calm environment where I could relax while allowing my kids to play!
