Our server was phenomenal and honest. He gave thorough reviews for every dish I asked about and did so with knowledge and humor. He encouraged us to try the crab cakes and he was 100% right to do so! They are meat filled, fresh, and are so delicious that two of my companions got some to go. The chili was just alright but the chicken pasta I ordered was AMAZING. It’s a large portion, very fresh, well seasoned and has a small kick to it. As an out of towner, I’ll definitely come back!

Stopped in here looking for wine and a good salad, and found one of the best salads I’ve had in quite a while. The service was great, my server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine menu. She even brought me a sample of the wine I ordered. It was a decent red wine. Their wine menu is a bit lacking in non-California options, but unless you’re a wine snob you probably won’t care. I got the Top Chop Salad and let me tell you….if you are a quinoa salad fan, this is the salad for you. It’s the perfect balance of flavors and textures. 10/10, would eat this every day.
I also had a piece of the key lime pie. Their desserts are made in house and at one point the server came out and apologized for the wait and said they were whipping the cream. You could tell it was fresh. The pie was delicious and it was a huge slice, I wanted to finish it but I couldn’t by myself. Definitely made for sharing. I had coffee with my dessert and honestly, it could’ve been better. Maybe their espresso drinks are better, I’ll have to give those a try. The coffee was like diner coffee.

My fiance and I have been here multiple times. We even went here for anniversaries and birthdays. Every time we have such amazing service and incredible food. You are seated quickly and greeted by a server also very fast. The server always tells you the specials and even recommends amazing options. They box up your food for you and always make sure your drinks are full. I’ve never been dissatisfied here. PS I highly recommend the salmon it’s so buttery and melts in your mouth.

When you visit Biltmore Park, be sure to make reservations at 131Main. You will not be disappointed. Beginning from the salads to finishing the dining experience with amazing delicious desserts. They offer an outdoor area. Food presentations and staff together is a fan favorite!

We had a group of 10 including 3 kids under 5. My son called for a reservation and Feliz Nesbitt (1 of the managers) set us up and made it flawless for us. Our server Cole was amazing. Feliz went above and beyond to make sure we were set with food and drinks . She kept checking up on us and making suggestions as well with food. She made the atmosphere inviting and we felt welcomed. The food was amazing. We tried tuna stack, grilled artichokes, cornbread and the double dip for starters. The Littles had hotdogs & cheeseburgers. Adults had ahi tuna salad, prime rib sandwich, grilled chicken, the special halibut and all was amazing. For dessert we had strawberry shortcake and banana cream pie. All drinks from tequila, margarita, espresso martini and coffees to top off and no complaints all praise. Thank you to Feliz Nesbitt, Cole and the whole team for making our dinner special.

The food was good and the service was good. I had the shrimp and grits and my husband had a cheeseburger. Both were great. We had the ahi appetizer and it was spectacular. I ordered a few sides, deviled eggs and slaw. Both were amazing but I was sorely disappointed that the deviled eggs cost $6 for only two halves of an egg. That’s just ridiculous. I thought it would at least be two full eggs.

The food was absolutely delicious! I will for sure go back anytime we are in the area. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful ! We went in for my birthday celebration and got a super yummy brownie to finish off ! The wait was only about 30 minutes. We sat at the bar to grab a drink while we waited and it went by so quick !

Great vibes, great food and energy. Sat in front at the chef station and was able to see the food prepared. Awesome drinks and atmosphere and great customer service! Definitely going back again.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me since I was traveling in the area and it did not disappoint. Probably the best meal I’ve had in my life. The service was also exceptional. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a positive energy that flowed from one staff member to the next. Charles B. was my main server and had me at hot towel. He proactively anticipated my needs, was warm and treated me like royalty. The food tasted incredible at affordable prices. I was in sticker shock at the end of the meal in a good way. It’s rare to find this level of service at a value. I ordered the shrimp and grits which were cooked perfectly. The banana cream pie had the most amazing crust and was light and airy. All the food was made fresh and none of it sat heavy. If you’re looking to treat yourself to a special experience, go here.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for years! The staff is friendly, the food is great, the only con is they’ve gone up a lot on their prices. If you go, you HAVE to get the banana cream pie! I’m not even a big banana person, but it is phenomenal. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time to make sure you’re able to be seated.

My favorite restaurant when visiting Asheville! A must visit! Service was beautiful when we had a girl's lunch here. Appetizers are amazing and very filling. Highly recommend!

It's a beautiful place, the service was great. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Their drink was tasty, and they even gave me some olives for my non-olive martini drink. I like my Thai salad, but i wish it didn't have noodles in it, it kind of kills my no carb diet. My husband was not happy with his steak. He didn't like the teriyaki sauce in his steak. But all of this kind of our fault, their menu had all the ingredients, we didn't think of tell them skip the noodles and the teriyaki sauce.

GREAT waiting staff. Extremely friendly and very delicious food. We got the Ribeye with pineapple marinade and absolutely loved it. The strawberry shortcake type dessert was perfect. Definitely will return back.

I really love 131 main! The food is amazing and the service is really hard to beat. Look for Dana when you go to the bar she is wonderful! I had the ahi tuna and espressotini

Ryan J was our waiter on the afternoon of 2/21/24. He took very good care of us along with our two dogs outside. His attention to detail and pleasant attitude is why we keep coming back. The dogs had (burger that they split) my wife and I had the Norwegian halibut with lobster sauce and kale. This place is hands down the best restaurant in NC.

When I realize I was coming to Asheville several weeks ago, I made up my mind to eat a 231 main. And we did, had been more that ten years that I have been there, but to my surprise everting at the restaurant was just as good or much better. Things on menus repaint from years ago. It is a place that I can spend $200.00 for two and be happy that I came with my lady. It was a very great meal and everyone was nice and very helpful

I've been here twice in 2 weeks. The food is excellent, but pricey. The bar knows how to make great drinks, especially the Old Fashioned. Highly recommend the pork chop, chicken pasta and the strawberry shortcake. Great atmosphere, love the outdoor seating near the fire pit.

Our server was Presley and she was amazing! It was my kid's 20th Birthday Party and she stepped up to make our night relaxing and enjoyable! Thank you so much for being sweet to us and perhaps we will get you again next time!
