Men's Haircare

I have been going to Men’s Haircare since I was in middle school and currently still going after I graduated college. For the past couple years I’ve lived in New York and had to get my hair cut at other barbershops, and none of them have ever lit a match to Julie’s service and friendliness. I consider Julie a wonderful lady (who can cut great hair of course) with a genuine and caring personality, and that’s what keeps me coming back here after all these years. She truly knows what she’s doing because when I go in there I don’t even know what to ask for, she already knows how to make it look good. Can’t say a bad thing about her and highly recommend you choose her business for your haircuts.

I had a great experience at Men’s Haircare! Miss Julie is an absolute doll. I had my hair cut by Shabana, and she was very thorough and professional. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, and they are seriously amazing at what they do. If you was the bee’s knees of a haircut, come here. Won’t regret it unless you don’t have a sense of humor. Lol

Would definitely recommend this barbershop! Down visiting for a few days and with the heat I knew I needed a haircut. While there wasn't a barber in at the time so not no straight razor on my hair, Jenn did a great job using her clippers and machines to give me a nice skin fade. Good fade all the way around. Also very pleasant and friendly conversation. There was another woman working, Marisol. She seemed really nice as well.

So Jennifer was FANTASTIC! Like I love how she did the best cut I’ve had in in the past year hands down🙌🏻I appreciate the effort and the dedication. Plus the conversations where entertaining thank you for making my Friday night!!🫶🏼

I walked in and was greeted by the owner and the staff. The place is clean and well maintained. I was immediately seated in Sean's chair and we discussed how I'd like my hair styled. Sean is really friendly, we had a great conversation, and he made sure I was happy every step of the way. I've been to so many barber shops that cut my hair however they felt. Sean listened and cut it exactly as I liked, I couldn't be more satisfied, he knows what he's doing! Excellent all around experience, the owner is super nice as is the staff. I will definitely be going back!

I've been looking for a barber around Carolina Beach for some time now. I resorted to going to salons etc for a while and never could get a proper fade. Although Men's Haircare has been around for a long time, I never noticed it until about a yr ago. I have to say- best haircuts I've ever had. Julie and the other barbers have all been consistent in giving me the perfect haircut. I've recommended friends to the establishment and they all have been happy and continue to get their haircuts there. Really happy to have found this place and it's just a few miles over the bridge.

This place is fantastic! I noticed one morning my hair was in need of a trim. I googled barber shops near me, and am so glad that Men's Haircare was right around the corner. Jennifer answered the phone when I called, and said; "come on over, we can get you it"! I walked in the door, was greeted by Jennifer, and immediately sat down in her chair. Jennifer introduced me to the owner, Julie, and I felt like we all had known each other for years, and they were my local barbers. Not only did I receive the best haircut ever, it was nice talking with them, and learning a bit more about Wilmington. Thank you both, and I will see you the next time I am in Wilmington.

Julie is Amazing! I recently moved back to the area. The first thing I did was go see Julie for a haircut. I have had a hard time over the last ten years finding someone who can do such a great job on my hair like Julie did way back in the day. She's always been a perfectionist, takes her time and goes above and beyond to get it right. I'm happy to be back in the area and happy to be back in her chair. I highly recommend Men's Hair Care and have done so for years.

Being retired military and business owner, I recently moved to Wilmington from Ohio. Was trying to find a good barber in the Monkey Junction area. Checked previous reviews, and decided to give Men's haircare a try. I was very well pleased. Nikki spent a lot of time to insure she was cutting my hair to my standards. Very professional job. The owner Julie, made it a point to speak to all her customers on a first name bases and make them feel welcome. She knows what it takes to run a customer friendly business. I'm sure I found my new barber shop.

Julie has been cutting my hair for over 40 years. It has always been a great cut. In line prices, always walk in, never long waits. If you need a hair cut, Julie, Jennifer, and Marisol are the 3 ladies I highly recommend..

My oldest son was about 7 before he ever had a haircut I liked. His hair is difficult to work with, but when I found this place, we have never been anywhere else. I bring both of my sons here. Excellent cuts every time. Reasonable prices and great people. Love this place!!

Great service, and haircut. Alex took her time to make my hair perfect. They offer free beer as well for customers. It is a shame I was only in town visiting for my nephews graduation from UNCW.

I went in mainly to have my beard professionally trimmed so that it would be even and a little less wild. Nico was awesome. He was professional, personable and have great advice on letting parts of my beard grow out. Julie is very nice as well and I enjoyed the visit. Can't wait to see them again.

This is the ONLY place I'll get my haircut in Wilmington. Great barbershop conversation with an all around excellent staff. The stylists/barbers are knowledgeable and skilled in a variety of techniques and I always get a great haircut. NEVER had a bad experience. Hot towel and a shave with each visit too!

Have been coming here for 10+ years. Julie maintains a high standard and is a hoot to have fun with. Her and her staff always give the best care and a professional “ barber” cut. Well worth the money vs. low-end cheap alternatives.

This is the only place I’ll take my 2 boys for haircuts now! They do an excellent job and make sure you’re 100% satisfied before leaving. They take their time so you don’t feel like you’re rushed. After experiencing so many bad haircuts at other places, this is the only place I will take my kids now!

Outstanding service! Marisol and Julie were absolutely wonderful. All our boys and myself received top notch haircuts and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else in the Wilmington or Carolina Beach area. Look forward to coming back soon!

Just moved to wilmington not to long ago and was in need of a haircut. I’ve seen this place before so i strolled on in. Nikki was my barber , did a fantastic job on my hair and finished me up with a straight razor and a hot towel. Awesome lady and an awesome place. Will definitely be back again. 10/10 would recommend.

I regularly get haircuts from barbers near military bases, who are familiar with military styles, and they still get it wrong. At Men's Haircare I told her what I wanted once and she did exactly what I had in mind. My fade was straight all the way around and she used a straight razor below the fade for a baby smooth feel. Not a single hair was out of place. I wish I could get my haircut here every time.

I go every two weeks and have for the last 3 years since I moved to Wilmington. I have tried two other barber shops and didn’t like the cuts. Zico does my cut every time now and he is awesome! This place has my business til I move or die.
