The Fresh Market

i have been going to fresh market since i was very young (my parents shopped at the one in winston-salem). i am 40 now and i still love all of their prepared foods (i could eat a dozen of the pillow cookies!). the quality of food has not changed over the years. as a vegetarian, i am always impressed with their products (many of which i can't find anywhere else but fresh market). thanks so much for remaining such a lovely store!

Excellent place to shop for a snack
or a meal. Aisles were fully stocked, store was clean and the staff was friendly.

Make a good choice and try this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Very good prepared food... love the weekly specials. I was introduced to The Fresh Market by one of my friends & I find myself driving from Mebane to Durham although there is one in Chapel Hill, Durham is my hometown. I’ve experienced excellent customer service. Prices are only a little higher but the quality is great & I don’t mind paying for quality. I hope the the weekly specials for salmon & chicken continue in addition to the special with the rotisserie chickens for $5. Great market!!! Keep up the great work!! True saying that you get what you pay for!💯

Had such a great interaction with Alicia, the manager. She was so helpful and friendly from the minute we walked in, and even made sure that the next time we visit, we have to stop by. Great customer service and looking forward to visiting again in the future.

No Shade👓, in general, a great experience. Wait ✋, Pause, I love the chicken salad 🥗. You can't beat FREE CROISSANTS🤷🏿‍♂!! I tried the curry chicken salad 2 years ago. That was an AWFUL experience. 🙈Setting your tatse buds up for that DEEP, SAVORY FLAVOR💡? 🔨
Unbeknownst to you, this chicken salad has HAIR IN IT. Now, that was disrespectful. Of🔨course, yes, I turned up. They fixed the situation ➕ the hair net 😆 issue 😄 🤣😂😂. Today I purchased the original chicken salad ❤. A bit to mayo(ee) 🙈. I 🤔 noticed the chicken pieces appeared smaller vs the chunks, yet... I digress. I LOVE the fruits and flowers 💐 there. Happy Shopping 🛍

Great market, even better people. Absolutely the best pre-made sushi I've ever had! Cost is just a little high..... Definitely one of the places were "it only costs a few dollars more to go first class"

Always great. Easy parking, good produce and prepared foods. Butchery can be hit or miss but overall I love the place.

Love the candy aisle! Makes me feel like a 5 year old. I also love the feeling of walking in and smelling the coffee, and hearing the classical music:) Not quite as cozy as some Fresh Markets... a bit brighter. But I love it! Beautiful yummy things. Always a fun time.

The Fresh Market is a fantastic in-between, between a grocery store and Whole Foods. The meats are super-fresh. I especially like the Applewood smoked bacon. We buy all our beef, pork, chicken, cheese, fish, and shrimp here; the freshly prepared desserts are tops. They have a very wide assortment of freshly baked breads and pastries, too. One my favorite treats is good old-fashioned root beer: Frosty, Dad's, and Virgil's.

The best part of The Fresh Market is that all the hard-to-find foods can be found here, but you don't have to travel anywhere else to do your regular grocery shopping.

Love this place! I can get premade meals ready to eat, prepped meals that just need to be cooked, super fresh produce... literally anything I personally need since I dont care to cook much that's all top notch quality, and a fun new bottle (or two) of wine to try every time I go. Highly recommend!

My go to super market in Chapel Hill. Best meats and produce around. In addition, the sushi and nagari are awesome (don't see what you need and they will make it on the spot!)

I love this super market. A bit pricey but it's quality products and specialty goods. The hot bar has delicious mac and cheese and savory chick wings.

Arrived early to find shelves full and staff helpful. The only suggestion I have is to place more sanitizer wipes inside the store, especially near the olive station. Love the Fresh Market!!
