Harris Teeter

This Harris Teeter location offers the best subs in town, and their prices are unbeatable. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the mood for a delicious and affordable sub. Their sushi bar looks great and fresh as well. Hands down, a top notch choice compared to overpriced sub shops!

The staff was friendly. But you need to be able to take cash at self-check out.

Not only does this grocery store have a buffet, Nice flower selection, and doors over there refrigerated foods (Not just the frozen) but they have a Starbucks coffee inside aswell. Delicious coffee nice atmosphere!

This Harris teeter is a lot like most others, apart from the exceptionally friendly staff who typically will carry a small conversation, always help you find what you need, and work hard to make this Harris Teeter one of the best I've ever been to.
The shelves are almost always completely full, the facility is clean and very presentable, and everyone is so friendly.
The sub station/deli area seems a bit short staffed, but more and more new friendly places are being added weekly.

Very happy with the customer service and overall experience here. The store is usually well-stocked and rarely are the shelves bare of any one item. It's kept clean and orderly, and I even see staff regularly "facing" the product even during a rush. I also have never had to wait too long to check out, even when the store is packed. Gerui(?) the cashier is super speedy - love going to his lane because the whole transaction takes less than 5 minutes. All the staff I've interacted with seem earnestly friendly and helpful.

I want to specifically express my appreciation for a particular staff member of the Meat Department. I went in to return a package of turkey burgers because the vacuum seal had broken somehow and the meat had turned gray. No one was at the customer service desk at first. The aforementioned Meat Department employee noticed me standing there and got someone to come to Customer Service to help me. A few minutes later, he noticed me scoping out a replacement package of burgers in the meat department and expressed concern that I'd purchased bad meat. He even offered to get me a frozen package of meat from the back (presumably fresher/from a newer shipment). It was really nice of him to anticipate my needs - he went above and beyond. It also showed that he cares about the quality of the product that hits the shelves in his department. Wish I got his name to give him a compliment. Thanks, Meat Department Guy!

Anyway, I've had many similar experiences with other employees at this location, so overall I highly recommend this particular HT.

Like most grocery store chains, there's a level of what's expected. I have not been to a Harris Teeter that has disappointed and this location is no different. Always a lot of sales to help save money

Great store. Very clean, bright, merchandised well. Handicap accessible parking. Sushi is outsourced to AFC. Nice wine shop, big walk in beer cooler. Produce is fresh. Starbucks in vestibule.

Yo i don't know who made my sandwich today but he put his whole heart in it. I've never been blessed the way I was today when I asked for extra olives by any other sub maker. Big shout out deli dude

I've been going here a couple times a week for the past year and honestly? Consistently great. Everyone is nice, it's really clean, the veggies are fresh, and the meat market guy is so enthusiastic that he makes you want to get a couple extra items on top of your chicken.

Pro tip: it's quiet after 7 PM so if crowds are an annoyance for you, go then.

I just wanted to take the time to write a google review for someone I consider to be the best employees working at this store. He is a cashier by the name of Ahmad (I apologize for the spelling). He's always working whenever I shop there. He consistently is kind, patient, and gives a positive attitude as we check out our groceries. We always specifically wait in his line in order to just get him as our cashier because we know we will have a positive experience checking out in his line. As someone who's worked in this industry before, I understand how hard it can be for a young man to work at a grocery store for a long period of time. However, Ahmad never loses his smile and his demeanor. He shines above and beyond every single interaction with him. I believe that he is truly deserving to praise and consideration for a raise or employee of the month.

I ordered online using the ExpressLane option for my company as I do often. I received a call this morning before my scheduled pick up time and Brittany told me there were a few items that were out of stock and asked about replacements. She was very kind and friendly on the phone and more than willing to help me. After I picked up my order, I realized a few items were missing. I went back by the store to get the items that I didn't receive and I was helped by Sheree,(I hope I spelled that correctly!) the MOD and another young lady ( I didn't catch her name). Sheree responded immediately and called Brittany to the front. Another associate, Que, came over and asked about it. He ended up being the one to get the missing items and even allowed me to walk with him when he had a question about an item. Ms. Mary also assisted as she was the one who brought my order out to my car. Chris, the store manager was also very helpful and met me with a friendly smile (even with the masks on!)
I want to sing the praises of everyone I encountered while addressing this, everyone handled it promptly, with apologies and provided top notch customer service.
I completely understand the shortage of staffing which puts additional pressure on existing employees all too well in my primary role at my company as the Hiring and Recruiting Manager. I hope this message finds those who assisted me today and to those in management, I hope you ensure they get the credit deserved. I myself would be honored to have such incredible staff within my own company.

This is one of my favorite Harris Teeter stores. It is always very clean and the staff is always helpful. They have a great variety of fresh produce and a wonderful butcher counter, where you can get boneless skinless chicken breasts for a dollar 99. That's a regular price not a special. The staff is very helpful and polite

Has those hard to find items for those special recipes that make healthy preparing and eating as easy as 1-2-3. Their organic selections are plentiful and also on sale, yummy recipes too!Can't beat that for saving money over the holidays.

I’ve gotten A lot of cakes and desserts from them over the years and always have been happy with their work. But today I got a small dessert tray, and I was just floored. It was beautiful. Such a variety and each different little dessert was perfect. My guests loved them. I wish I’d taken a picture. Can’t wait for my next event to get another!

Worked here for a few years so I may be bias but I love this HT. By far the best one in my vicinity. Customer service has always been the #1 priority here, almost to a fault. Lol. The deli/bakery/pizza is A+, the entire store is well stocked and CS has no issue helping you find something or telling you where you can get it they are out/when they will have it back in stock. Buggies are always stocked at the front and the parking lot is well tended to. Perhaps my favorite person in the store is Barry! He is a hoot & a half and REALLY makes my weekly trip to the meat department. I have missed working with him dearly and he makes me feel so welcome every time I come visit, it's like I've never left! The meat department here is just the best.

Only complaint is the bathrooms have REALLY gone down hill in the last year. Just about every time I go, it is absolutely disgusting (well, the women's is). If I didn't have knowledge of the employee bathroom in the break room, I would be seriously concerned about the personal hygiene of the employees, that's the only reason I won't make this a 4 star review.

Yesterday I had a sub made for lunch, the young man with a beard and earrings assisted me. It was amazing, he was full of positive energy and friendly with everyone including other coworkers. The sandwich was awesome. 5 stars

I've used the HT Pharmacy for many years. It is convenient, the staff are terrific, and they excel at administering vaccines!

The manager and assistant manager went out of their way to make my experience tonight great. I don't have a lot of money, and they made sure I could feed my fiance and I without guilt. Every employee there was incredibly friendly, despite it being the holidays and slightly chaotic. I will pick this grocery store for the customer service alone.
