Best experience I’ve had with an auto repair shop. I was on vacation and worried I would be taken advantage of because of that. Doug was the most helpful, honest, trustworthy person you would want to do business with. Explained to me what was wrong with the car and why he was replacing what needed to be replaced. He even drove me back to the beach house I was staying at. I recommend O'Leary to anyone in this area. Doug is definitely an asset to the company!

Not sure if they do this regularly, but we were first time visitors at Kure Beach and halfway through our time here our car had low oil pressure issue. (Turn out to be the oil pressure sensor needing to be replaced). They got us fixed in one day and we made it back to Charlotte NC safe with no further issue.

I had called multiple shops but most could not book us in (full schedule) and plus we had to leave on such short notice. O’Learys schedule were busy that day, but Doug and his team graciously and quickly got us back on the road.

These are the only guys I trust with my car. Maybe the shop was run by different people when it received some bad reviews years ago. My experience has been phenomenal. I’m getting coil overs installed next and I know they’re going to do an amazing job at a fair price.

New in Wilmington, and a few days ago' my car started to leak coolant. I live right next door to O'Learys ,and , i was really hoping that i would found professional technicians to take care of my 2003 BMW 330 CI . I met Doug the shop manager ,nice friendly guy ,but still i was concerned .He looked at my car ,and, by the end of the day he told me what was wrong, price and all ,but there was more to it and thanks to his knowledge and care to give the car back at it's best ,he was able to troubleshoot all it was wrong with it, and a few days later i was able to get it back .
Few days went by and i have been driving the car for a while and no signs of any leakeage. If i can add something, i'd like to say that along with the car being repaired ,there was something that Doug said to me in one of the phone calls .... he said that while he was driving back home he was thinking how could troublesoot what was going in my car...... only someone that cares thinks about work after hours . I also forgot to say that Doug is not only there to take customers appoimemts,but he's actually the one that works on you car in first person ,and ,at times alongside with his trusted technician Patrick.i'd like to thank you both for your professionality and honesty.
How lucky to have found professionals at my first try, and .... right next door to me.

Rich, the shop manager is a class act. He treats his employees which are polite and meticulous in the quality of output with the utmost respect and they return it to him mutually. A great environment to do business in. This is one of the most honest servicers for automobiles I have used in 20 some years in the greater Wilmington area and I do not have to go past monkey junction for that experience. Convenient and Professional always.

The tire gauge on the dash showed the air in the tires was too low.
I dropped in unannounced at O’Leary’s Automotive Repair at 6311 Carolina Beach Road.
They were professional and friendly. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, Will came right out and took the car into the shop. A few minutes later he brought it back with corrected tire pressure.
Then the lady at the reception desk said, “No charge”!
I was very surprised and pleased. The last 2 times I attempted to put air in the tires more air came out than went in.

I drove in told Rich what was going on with my vehicle, he immediately assigned a technician who diagnosed the repair gave me a price and repaired my Avalanche. I waited in their clean and bright waiting room with some lively and friendly banter between myself and Rich who is not only knowledgeable about his trade but also a great conversationalist. I was in and out in less than an hour, my kind of place.

Excellent customer service. I highly recommend you give them a try. Reasonable prices, free estimates, and they'll even give you a ride. Needed brakes on my F150, quick turnaround for my son that needed to get the truck back that day.

The manager of the store Rich is the man. Got my truck in and out in a quick amount of time. Very clean office and shop. No BS right down to business. They get it done. Definitely will be returning for all of my service work

The new manager Doug is the man very polite and nice always did my own work but would tell anyone that need repairs to there car or truck to go see him it will be done right the first time..

I received my reminder for oil change in my email. I called and set up appt. I asked for a tire rotation and a brake check as I had noticed a bumping feel when I braked. The technician took my car for a drive. He alerted me to a steering problem. They ordered the part and provided me with a coupon and gave me a ride home! Thank you!

Came to the beach for a couple days and noticed a strange noise in my Jeep. Took to O’Leary’s on Carolina Beach Rd and was so glad I did. Dave took it for a drive then had Bob look as well. It ended up being a problem that is covered under manufactured warranty, so I then took to dealership.
When I’m in the area and need sound automotive repair this is the place I will go!! Highly recommend.

'I'll Be Back' ....A good experience overall. The staff was polite and didn't have an issue with my special request. The same service would have cost me $10 more at Prolube and they are just a few miles from my home.

Staff is friendly and very helpful. Very reasonable prices for oil changes, and they even throw in extras.
