Cook Out

Best bang for your buck! The guy taking our order was super patient which I really appreciated. The food was so tasty and the peppermint shake uses the soft peppermints which I've never seen done before and was wonderfully surprised which how it turned out. Highly recommend for quick, easy, affordable, delicious food with friendly service.

Ate here probably close to a hundred times. Cheap, open late. Food isn't the best but you get what you pay for. Orange push up shake is the best

Whoever was working this evening put their heart and soul into the food, my double quesadilla tray was life-changing and immaculate. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and got my ginormous order for multiple people finished in less than two minutes, it was insane. 10/10 staff and food, would recommend.

We were visiting @Highridge House in Fleetwood North Carolina and picked up cookout in Boone. Service was speedy, I keep forgetting that cookout isn’t five guys LOL! But the burgers were good. The french fries were better but those hush puppies and the cheese curds were fantastic!

I was there walk up late after 3 am and they was very busy the lady took out order Fri night she was so nice we loved all her tattoos she let us know they were getting caught up be just few min wait the food was hot and good we appreciate her and cookout

The shakes were great and the two drive thru windows made it fast and quick. Exactly what you expect.

We used the drive thru, the young lady was very polite and helpful. The hard rain was making it difficult to place our order but she was patient and we got our food and everything was correct. Very pleasant experience

The line at cookout always moves swiftly as long as the customers don't debate on their order, and the staff has always gotten my milkshake order correct. The milk milkshake choices alone are worth stopping here for! The new larger straws when available, are so much better! We were very happy with our caramel cheesecake and Hershey milkshake order. If you don't want to have to stir it with a spoon the larger straws work great too stir and drink.

Cook OUT is the best fast food in town. Besides Comeback Shack of course. But really I probally like Cook OUT better.

"Cook out style" burgers and hotdogs are similar to a real eastern NC style burger, and most people don't even know what that is! Best burgers ever :)

It was good, just service was slow. Everything else was good. I always love their burgers!

Cook Out is always amazing. The drive thru staff are extremely friendly. Has the double lines, I didn't notice indoor seating. It's in a college town, so the portions tend to be a little bigger. Killer milkshakes.

The only place in town to get quality eastern NC BBQ! Typically super fast and the food is always hot and fresh!

Love the food. Service was fine. Only issue was that we got no napkins with 2 meals and 2 shakes.

Came here after a wedding at midnight. Absolutely jonesing for a cookout tray.and they came through clutch. Made sure we had what we needed, enough sauces and everything. 6 stars for the boys in Boone. A must visit if you are visiting or in town for an event.

Had a great experience at the cookout here! Great food and such a friendly staff! Also would definitely recommend trying one of their milkshakes! So many flavors to choose from it’s hard to pick just one! I would recommend you this if you’re looking for a bite to eat or even a full meal!

Absolutely amazing. The food is good and suits your cravings, and the staff is phenomenal. My car cut out in the middle of my trying to get food, and they offered to help me push it until I could get it operational again. Luckily I got it working before it came to that, but I can't thank them enough. Great food, great people

It can be difficult to get in and out of this location, depending on the time of day, but the food and service is always good.

Looking for a good milkshake? You name the flavor, they have it. Real fruit, and made old school. Yum!
