Red Barn Garden Center

We like how knowledgeable Red Barn employees are. They also have fresh cut Christmas trees. We have purchased from them for the last 2 years and plan to do so again this year. They have them displayed in water and will cut off the bottom for a drag cut when you buy. Freshest trees and last a long time. Never dry out !!

What a wonderful place. So much to see. I have been looking for a key lime tree. Turns out they are very pricey and hard to find in stock. We called Red Barn in Leander TX., not only did they have them at a good price they had a good inventory of all kinds of citrus and fruit trees. This will be one of my go to nurseries good prices and healthy plants.

Very helpful staff! Called ahead of time to inquire about butterfly varietals for monarch caterpillars. Was given information via the phone, as well as in person when I arrived. Greeted warmly and given directions to the location of my requested plants right when I walked up. Friendly and knowledgeable staff is always a plus, I will be back for more soon. Thank you!

Everyone that I have engaged with on many topics of plants, soil, containers, and the climate, seem to a good basic knowledge and most have extensive practical knowledge for investing in your yard ie Landscape so that beautiful plant you purchased will survive the environment that you plan to plant it. I have cactus in a pot I keep indoors for 35 yrs. I have an agronomy degree, with a fair amount of organic chemistry. The red barn is very unique and I love just the place and looking at all the have.

Knowledgeable staff and very friendly. Exactly what you would hope for when dealing with horticulturalists. Even if the person you are talking to doesn't know something, they jump on their radios and get the answer. We love supporting our locals and Red Barn deserves that!

This place is huge and they have a great selection of perennials and annuals, as well as many kinds of bagged soils, mulch, etc. They also have fruit trees and bushes. If you’re looking for outdoor plants including some succulents, this is a great place.

Everyone was so knowledgeable and kind. No shaming or judgement at my amateur-ish questions. I was pushing a stroller with my 18 month old in it and had my 4 year old by my side, so one of the employees grabbed a cart and pushed it along with me as we picked out plants and soil. They loaded everything into my vehicle for me and even gave my 4 year old a popsicle at checkout.

Did I mention they actually answered the phone and went through plant inventory with me - ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON? No one does that. It meant that I didn’t have to load up my girls and just pray they had what I needed. I’ll never go anywhere else again.

ABSOLUTELY loved this place. Such a big variety and it was all very well organized. And not to mention the customer service is outstanding! My fiance and I know nothing about plants, so I'm sure the look of fear was on our faces but Canaan a worker there came over and was so helpful. Taught us so much about plants and made it so much easier to pick what we needed. Will recommend this place to everyone.

I visited Red Barn on Saturday 3/27 with my wife and had an excellent experience! We've been trying to replace and refresh a lot of our plants that didn't survive the icepocalypse last month and Red Barn had a great selection with amazing prices! Every employee we encountered were eager to help, friendly and very knowledgeable.

Already planning another trip back as we were informed they'd be getting a shipment of plants we were looking for but were out of stock at that moment. Red Barn is certainly worth the trip, 5 stars!

I just started to do some gardening and have ground this little gem. Forget all the big retail stores that can't take care of thier plants Red Barn has knowledgeable staff and the plants are just lovely and so healthy looking. The staff are always helpful and kind. I have made it out there every weekend and its always worth it l. Price are justified and very worth it.

Have been shopping here for years! Best nursery in Leander!!

Good variety of plants

Love the size of this place! Filled my cart with lovely varieties of summer blooming annuals and perennials. My containers are now bursting with vibrant colors and that makes me happy 😁🌺🥀🌻🌷⚘ Customer service is excellent! I will be back in October for my snapdragons and pansies...last batch made it all the way through winter and spring!

Great on price and quality!! They gave a wide selection between indoor plants, annuals, perennials, bushes and trees. You'll find the prices at home depot and lowes a little less only for the smaller plants, but they're much healthier and larger here than the big stores. They also have soil, nutrients, and seeds. It's easy to miss from the road but you won't be sorry going here
