Dollar General

I visited the store on Hero Way last week after a visit with a friend who lives nearby. I wanted to pick up something for dinner and some light bulbs for my front porch.
I was originally reluctant because of what most of the other Dollar Generals I have visited have been like, as far as being able to shop comfortably. (I don't have the best balance anymore.)
I am new to this kind of social media thing and I'm reading all these negative comments that were posted (quite a while back), and my experience there was much the opposite. I've never seen a Dollar General where it's obvious the employees truly care about the condition of their store. The aisles were clear, and aside from the occasional item out of place, the shelves were stocked and I had very little trouble finding what I wanted. Two employees helped me while I was there and they were both very knowledgeable and friendly. Sylvia had great customer service by helping an old man like me. Mandy was available when I had a question and took me right to what I asked for. I didn't realize that she knew so much about lighting! She also recommended a couple of TV dinners for me and they turned out to be pretty good.
The next time I'm out in Leander again, I will be sure to stop at this Dollar General before any others. Anyone who avoids going to Dollar General, like I used to, should really try this store because it is so much different than anything else I've ever seen with this company. I appreciate the ladies help and thank you for helping me while I was passing through.

Store was neat, cleaned and organized and the associate closing was very sweet.

Great shopping day. Emotes help my daughter find an item and was very friendly and helpful. The person at checkout was also very helpful as their ATM machine was not functioning right. He stayed calm as he walked each person through TBE process of getting their purchases paid for. They had some empty shelves but had all the items we needed.

The staff was very friendly at this location. Clean store, no problems in my quick in and out visit. They even sell propane tanks for your BBQ grille, very convenient. Recommended.

My home away from home. Love the service you receive here. Danielle is the best, she always puts a smile on my face and is happy to help when and wherever needed! I visit at least 2-3 times a week and it glady helps me avoid the grocery store rush! Keep it up DG in Cedar Park! Thanks for all you do!

This is my favorite Dollar General Store of them all! The staff is all around helpful, friendly, and the store is kept tidy and organized always. Highly recommend and have no bad things to say or any reason I wouldn't recommend going to this DG over any other!!

I'm a teenager so the dollar stores a good place for (almost) everything candy toys hygiene food drinks Iceream birthday cards glasses ect. And it all a dollar if you couldn't tell by the name
