Update of the update: tried the Mac n cheese, I am judgemental when it comes to Mac n cheese as a main dish, compared to others as a main dish I would not recommend. It lacked the precious cheese flavor. I did like the sausage but it wasn't andouille sausage...he had the crispy pork enchiladas, said it was good, but not crispy..server was great. pics added..will come back to try other things.

Update: came again because it was so good the first time. Second time didn't disappoint. He had the breakfast quesadilla which I thought was the best dish. I had the Avacado Eggs Benedict. It too was impressive. See pics for reference.
This was our first time back since it was the old catfish place. The atmosphere is impressive and clean. The service has been amazing (we ended up sitting in bar booths with bartender as server) Sunday lunch on 9/24/23. Husband got the special fried chicken and waffles. I got the fish tacos on corn tortilla. Both dishes we delicious. Manager stopped by and checked in on us, said the chicken was airline chicken and we got a lesson on that which was cool. Nothing here I would change or recommend at this time. Excellent find, will come back again! 👏 😎

In town for the night and decided to give it a go based on reviews and pictures of the food. Excellent choice! It was about 6 pm on a Thursday and not busy at all. Staff greeted us and we were seated right away. Everyone was very friendly. Food and drinks were delicious. One of us had the pan fried catfish and I had the pork enchiladas which were unlike any enchiladas I have ever had in my life. Having lived in the San Antonio area for many years, I have had my share of enchiladas, but this dish put others to shame. This is NOT Tex-Mex if that's what you're wanting.
Everything was great from start to finish and I would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Another great experience! Now my 3rd time visiting and they continue to impress. The server was spot on anticipating every need and offering her favorites. We were in a rush and were seated, ordered with food on the table in 12 minutes. Love the premise of a local sourced fair. Great job 👏

Super friendly service and the food is GOOD! We had the soup of the day, stuffed pepper and stuffed chicken, each had such delicious flavors. We had to try the desserts and got the cheese cake and the browny, both were fantastic. The restaurant is spacious, our waitress - Maria - had a big smile on her face and we enjoyed hearing laughter from the kitchen. Altogether we had a really good lunch experience and we plan to be back.

This location opened in the old cherry creek catfish restaurant. Our experience today was fantastic. Raye our waitress was a great server. She knew the menu and suggested great selections. The restaurant is offering monthly specials, weekend brunch with drink specials as well as their regular menu. We found the hostess very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and inviting. If you tried after they just opened here and may have been disappointed try them again

Here pictured... veggie nachos, chicken enchilada,, bbq burger, sweet potato fries. So good. Noami was our waitress, top notch. A very good experience!!

Brunch was amazing. Great prices for the brunch cocktails. I absolutely loved the green pork and eggs. It was perfectly cooked with a good amount of heat, enough to make my nose run a little but not so much to burn my face off. The fried oysters were so good that we devoured them and didn't take a picture. The Texas bloody Mary and Texas eggs Benedict (?) also delicious. I'm super happy they opened a Leander location. Can't wait to go back! Friendly staff. Clean. Not too busy. They take reservations. Great chef. Great bartender.

Words cannot express how delicious everything was from lunch special to fish tacos from menu. Family friendly, cozy place with relaxing vibes. The Cadillac Margarita is a taste for the books. It’s a must try and surprise you by the size. The name alone makes you smile. Our server was< Kori> , very lovely woman, who recommended to try the dishes and explained everything about the restaurant. We had a chance to meet Carlos ( one of the owners) and expressed the great experience at the “Blue Corn Harvest”. Appreciate that everything is cooked by perfection and support local farmers. Highly recommend it and look forward to checking other locations.

This is a quality restaurant focusing on Mexican Cuisine, not necessarily TexMex. They locally source almost the entirety of their ingredients, and then put them together with care in an interesting menu. As of today they offer a Hatch Chili menu of specials for a limited time. We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a variety of entrees. First, they brought us some delicious cornbread rather than the standard chips and salsa. The cornbread was moist and delectable, served with butter. Following that we enjoyed a number of entrees, see pics. The food is presented beautifully and is as tasty as it looks. The restaurant is larger than it might appear from outside, with a full bar on one end. Service is quite good, and it is a lovely atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for the quality, as you get what you pay for overall. I recommend you consider this venue for a nice meal and cocktail sometime.

My optometrist (okay, she's also my daughter), took me out for lunch in your Leander location. Other than the Blue Corn Harvest (Georgetown) catering, at my grandson's wedding last year, this was my first experience at Blue Corn. Wonderful food, service, and prices. Thank you, Dr Donna McCain!

Hostess was great. We were greeted and aat within 5 minutes of entering the restaurant.
After we were sat were greeted by our server who was very professional and knowledgeable she recommended each of our lunches and she was spot on with each.
Very good place for a nice lunch or easy dinner.

Great experience here. T was our waitress she was exceptionally attentive to our needs. Food was amazing and cocktails 🍸 were on point 👉🏽 and we made happy hour.. so bonus there! Will definitely be back!

We absolutely love this place. Great service, great flavorful food, and our favorite happy hour spot! Right now for hatch chili fest, you have to try the shrimp bites and the fried chile relleno!

Best entrees we’ve had in a while. Absolutely delicious beef enchiladas and steak & mushroom quesadillas. Service was superb. Management is fantastic. 1st time but will now be regular place for us.

This is a review of an event that was held at the Leander location of Blue Corn Harvest Bar and Grill. It was a tasting dinner and highlighted spirits from Leanderthal Distillery.
I wasn't aware we even had these kinds of events in Leander so I was super surprised and signed us up right away. I was curious about the distillery and I've been to other location of Blue Corn Harvest and enjoyed their food. This tasting menu was really special and every food item on the menu was paired with an appropriate beverage. Needless to say the dinner was for 21 and older only and actually the distillery does not host anyone under drinking age either. This review will focus on the Food side of this event.
I'll write a separate review for the adult beverages under the Leanderthal Distillery page.
We made it in the nick of time at 7 PM on the dot. A large part of the restaurant was cordoned off and actually even separated by a walkway from the entrance area to the right you would go in for regular dining to the left. they had everything all set up for the tasting menu , we were located in the last seats available which was in a booth with another couple (on the other side of us) they were awesome and we were so glad we met them so that was a big perk as well. They were well known as "Jo" had actually worked at Blue Corn Harvest in Cedar Park for years, and she and her husband were patrons of the distillery.
So the ambience was really nice.
I am going to talk about the service before I discuss the food. I have to say the service was absolutely impeccable. They had everything well designed- well thought out -and service was expedient as could be with the large number of people they were serving. I was truly amazed!!'
The menu was created by Chef Santos Garcia for all the foods and Leanderthal Distillery for the bourbon and vodka beverages .
Our First Course consisted of Grass Fed Meatballs with Tomato Vodka Sauce. It was paired with a Lemon Rosemary Refresher. The meatball was soooo flavorful and delicious!
The Second Course was Smoked Salmon with Tomato Sofrito in a Vodka Cream Sauce, and was paired with a Classic martini. I've never had salmon cooked this way, and I really enjoyed it. You could taste a slightly smoky flavor, and the fish was cooked perfectly.
The Third Course was a Bourbon, Braised Pork Shank, which was lovingly called a "Pork Wing ". It was fall apart, tender and melted in your mouth. it was served with an "Old Fashion Leander."
Dessert -consisted of a Texas Pecan Bourbon Pie with Amy's Ice Cream and was served with an Apple Buttered Leander Bourbon Old Fashioned.

Everyone was friendly, and the food was superb! We stopped in for dinner on a Friday night and expected to wait. We were seated immediately and ordered drinks and an appetizer. Later dinner and dessert. It was a fair price for the quality of food and service and very family friendly atmosphere.

I just dash here stateing what I see and feel. Maybe what I tast will be soon. Clean bathrooms love clean bathrooms. Thank you I just got my 5000 review, you got to be kidding wow I hate to write to, I know my sentences are wrong, it said it's better to be good at the spoken and written word I think I suck at both, is this helping me get over stage fight, I don't know God has some kind of plan I don't think I am going to like it, if only you knew. YHWH.

Service is BEYOND excellent. Staff extremely attentive. Food quality is exceptional with reasonable prices! A real jewel. Drove from Manor to have dinner after my first visit. Second visit sealed the deal—will be back!

Nice comfortable dinner with excellent service. She was training a new employee so we got a 2 for 1 deal!
Steak burrito was perfect, and the catfish was spicy, tasty!
