I highly recommend for all Ortho needs! I did a full year of Invisalign and it was a great experience. The online scanning kit they give you makes it so easy to go through the program! I love how my results turned out and so happy with the team!

Our family had an excellent experience with Shafer Smiles! Our daughter started out with quite a bit of “work” that needed to happen and she came out of it with a beautiful smile! Always professional, courteous and friendly. We went to the Champaign office most of the time but the few times we went to the Mahomet office for last minute visits to fix a wire or bracket was equally excellent!

My whole experience with Shafer smiles has been smooth and all together satisfactory. The moment you start your journey with them, they write your name on their board, give you a gift bag and really put you at ease. I always felt comfortable. I am even a very unique case as I was abroad for most of my treatment- but it did not phase them. They were very accommodating and gave me a virtual treatment so that even in Thailand for 10 months I could text them through my app and use my own scanning equipment! AMAZING! When I finally came home I was able to finish treatment no problem. They are flexible and accommodating and very professional. I also appreciated the "Congrats" by all the staff as I left :) So familial and great work! very trustworthy

I would highly recommend Shafer Orthodondist. I am not your typical orthodontic patient (plus 65) but wanted to try something to straighten my teeth that have moved over the years. I went to Shafer Ortho and did my treatment with Invisalign. Couldn’t be more pleased after only 9 months of treatment. If you are hesitant, don’t be. It was a great experience.

I couldn’t say enough good things about this place! The staff is amazing and so friendly, they are super considerate about your time and make appointments fairly quick. I’m someone that is a little nervous going to the dentist but they’ve always made me feel comfortable and happy there. I came in to have one of my adult teeth pulled down, which being in my late twenties is known to be a little harder. They were able to accomplish it for me in about 6 months sooner than they anticipated. I’m so happy with my smile now and I’m glad I made the choice to go to this office for my braces!

Dr. Shafer and his team were extremely welcoming today at our first consult for our son. He smiled when he had a parking space reserved for his appointment:) Julie and Dr Shafer went over in detail our treatment plan so that we could understand different options. Three of our other older children have had treatment with Dr Shafer with excellent results.Connor is excited to get started! Wonderful experience!

Shaffer and the orthodontist team were careful with my teeth. They made sure that my teeth were strong and healthy while also providing a comfortable environment. Very, very kind people. I was very surprised with how my teeth got closer together within a year.

Everyone was very welcoming and polite. I was always in and out within a reasonable time. Most importantly they did a great job. Would recommend for anyone in need of braces or Invisalign.

The most amazing orthodontist office I've ever been to. Scratch that best doctor of any kinds office I've been to. Just an amazing, caring staff. They made my daughter feel like a star! They had her name on the welcome board and made sure to call her by name as soon as we walked in the door. Even though we had never been there before. The made sure to talk directly to my daughter and explain everything directly to her, not to me and ignore her because she's a kid like most doctors do. This made her feel more of an adult and like she was part of her of the decision process. Great job guys! Keep it up!

I was blown away by our experience here! Dr. Shafer and staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. From a personalized welcome video from Dr. Shafer, personalized parking spot, and personalized welcome sign inside with our daughters name on it — we felt like we were royalty. The staff is super sweet and friendly and facility is beautiful. I would 100% recommend for all ages.

I can not overstate my amazing experience! My invisalign experience was pretty smooth thanks to their helpful app. One of my bumps was cutting into my lip when I was playing my French Horn, but they were able to quickly make room for an appointment where they sanded it down which fixed the discomfort. The staff was really friendly and kind every time!
