D & W Lake Camping & RV Park

This is a great find! Will definitely be our go to spot. Very well laid out campground. Well maintained and very clean bathrooms. Owner very nice…just all good experience thankfully.
Appreciate finding a place open as we go through late in November and we need electricity to stay warm.
Very happy and we put them in our favourites on our GPS.

We needed a one night stopover during a road trip in our RV. We forgot to call and confirm our spot, but called on the way and they said, "Not a problem!"
We ran into some traffic, and arrived later than we originally planned, but they offered great guidance on food options before arrival and the best route to take.
When we arrived, they helped guide us to our spot.
The spot was perfect, with a great few of the lake, campground was quiet with sparkling clean and temperature controlled bathrooms. We would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Great location near Champaign but a few miles north in the countryside for peace and quiet. We spent a very enjoyable 4 weeks here in September, each day looking forward to our walk around the lake, greeted by friendly cats.
The owners put time and effort into keeping things tidy, and it shows. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Great stop with a convenient location. We were passing through in Novermber, we pulled in just before dusk. Matt, the owner, met us as we arrived. He explained that due to the falling temps, the water was off. He had one hydrant open and helped us fill our tank. The location was perfect for us, I57 and I74 interchange. We will definitely stay here again!

A perfect stop. Small, quiet, no frills, clean Campground for a day or a few. Perfect location of the interstate. Small lake/ pond on site for fishing with benches and chairs all around to sit, relax, and enjoy. We had a pull through site. We would recommend and stay here again!

Very friendly staff , excellent ( and warm in January) restroom and showers with clean non skid flooring. Arrow to “ Storm shelter “ reassuring. Now only if catching fish guaranteed. Rob

Great spot to stop overnight or a few days. Just off I-57 at mile post 240 and 1/2 mile away. Easy on and off the interstate. We have a 44 ft class A pulling a full size pickup truck and had no issues.
Nice shade, well kept Campground. It has a fishing lake and a great place for the kids and dogs to play.
Cathy and her husband could not have been nicer and accommodating. Definitely give it a try, for $40 a night you can't beat it.

Great place to stay, close to Champaign/Urbana, Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were in the area for a family reunion and thrilled to find this campground with a pair of buddy sites, so we could more easily get together. Bathrooms were conveniently located, nice and clean. Good walking paths for hubs & the dog. Overall, really looking forward to going back one of these days. Really enjoyed, too, being surrounded by the fields. Somewhat close to the freeway, so sometimes heard traffic noise, which didn't bother me. Also loved hearing the train whistle in the distance.

Very nice and clean campground, we got a drive thru site facing a beautiful small lake. It looks so peaceful. The shower is nice and clean, and the host is very nice and friendly too. It's easy to get to from the freeway, except the freeway is under construction, so it's a little detour to get there.

Matt and his wife, the owners, are amazing. They are very polite and friendly, and if there are any issues, they are quick to respond.

They have a nice spacious dog park, and my dogs loved to run in it.

Have 2 play sets, a basket court, and a spacious open grassy area to let the kids run off energy.

The restroom facility was clean and well maintained. Full hookups for R.V.

The pond they have is a great spot to relax while enjoying the sun set.

Great family owned RV park! Very friendly, accommodating folks. Pretty land with clean facilities. Perfect for a stay in Champaign.

I really liked this campground. It's medium size, right on a lake, the sites are a nice size and the atmosphere is great.

We'll defiantly come back the next time we're in the area.

Cute little RV park just off the highway with a pretty little lake. Great service, nice bathrooms, had a very peaceful night here!

Beautiful place with amazing owner they were so kind to our whole family and was ready to offer things gave us tips and was amazing. Cheap price and amazing service will defenetly be back sometime in the future such a great experience.😁

Beautiful & well taken care of park. The people were very nice. We just stayed over night but would have loved to stay longer. It was easy to find & easy to get into.

I have been camping and RV’ing for over 30 years and this is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Beautiful lake views. Nice sites. The park is spotless. Manager super nice.

We met 'Matt with the Hat' upon arrival. Great host. Campground is clean, quiet, well maintained. We will be back. But down to fishing business. The lake is an old borrow pit that looks ridiculously deep. Water clarity is good. Fished 6 lb. line with a stick worm. Caught a bunch of largemouth bass in the 8-10" range..saw a couple bigger ones. Fishing was good! Dozens of ducks poured onto the lake near dark. It was fun to watch. Quit considering it. Make the reservation now.

Absolutely enchanting! We found this oasis on our travels from Texas to Michigan and very happy we did. The owners are third generation family legacy and they are extremely welcoming.
We only stayed one night but plan to incorporate a longer stay next year. It's located moments from Highway 57 for travelers needing a much needed rest. Full hookup - pull through was much appreciated.

Such a nice RV Park. Right off the interstate, large sites and a Beautiful lil lake to walk around. The owners were really nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and very handy from two interstates and Champagne is so quickly accessible yet you are in the midst of farm fields. Beautiful lake !
