Mattex Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Sewer, and Electrical

Called and had a plumber in 45 minutes. That was quick. Installed a whole house water filter I bought from Ace and did a wonderful job. The old one started leaking and I had to shut water off to the house. Thanks Mattex for getting me up and running again.

I just want to say how grateful I am to Mattex, for their incredible work, and for putting their customers first. Recently, we needed our boiler replaced as well as our air-conditioning system. A huge job. Obviously, during the frigid cold period of time that it’s been, our boiler was top priority. There was a missing component, a supply demand issue, that we were waiting for to start the boiler job. This part was to be mailed out, but the temperature the following weekend was going to be unbearable, and our little electric heaters were not going to keep up. Drew had one of the staff drive to Indianapolis the evening before the part was to be mailed out to pick it up so that they could begin the work the very next morning. They installed the boiler the next morning and worked throughout the day to get the heat going, saving us from further issues and cold over the weekend. Able and Cody were fantastic. I was very impressed by their work and the way they treated us as customers. The following Tuesday, Luke and Cody installed our air-conditioning system, which required them to be in our attic and outside in extremely cold temperatures. I just want to say how happy we have been with the work of Mattex, and a huge shout out to Drew, Abel, Cody and Luke. You guys are great.

Mattex was fantastic from start to finish! We are remodeling our kitchen and recently learned our current pvc drain setup in the kitchen needed to be rerouted. I called first thing this morning and Peggy was wonderful to work with! She reassured us someone would respond today! Every experience I have had with the Mattex company and each individual employee has been exceptional. Everyone has been so kind, attentive and thorough. Everyone has been great about explaining issues and talking through all possible solutions. Installs have been scheduled in a day or two from the initial call. Would definitely recommend Mattex!

I had a blockage in my drainage system. I called Mattex and

I’ve had several services done on my house this year. Every staff member and technician is highly trained and trustworthy. They are expensive and worth what they charge. I highly recommend them.

Since this review, we have had more work done. This time Joe, electrician who updated our whole house electrical panel and more, just upgraded our gas to gas range and installed new 4 prong and entire electric access to the range. We upgraded our gas range to an induction stove top range.

We are very happy with Mattex and everyone we have had work on our very old house.

My furnace started sounding like a jet engine that was spooling up so I called Mattex to have them check on it. The technician, Lafayette, let me know what was exactly wrong with it and gave me an estimate on what it would cost. I was a bit annoyed since we just moved to this home several months ago and had to make the decision of either fixing an aging furnace or possibly buy a new unit. Lafayette was not pushy about anything and just gave me all the information I needed. I chose to look into what options I had with a new unit. I met with Drew, who is a Comfort Consultant. He asked how the current air flow was throughout the house and if we were satisfied with it. From there he figured out what type of furnace would fit our needs and found us several with different price ranges. He went through the differences with all of them so we can make an informed decision. We chose to replace the old furnace and A/C (might as well replace that too), picked the one we wanted and set up an installation date, which was done extremely quickly. For the installation, we dealt the Abel, Jacob, Cody and DJ, who were all great. From start to finish, everyone from Mattex was professional, respectful, knowledgeable and personable. I bought a furnace/AC from them at my previous home and never had any issues with it afterwards so I decided to go with them again. They are a great business to work with!

Excellent service. They were able to get somebody out within 24 hours during a pretty cold week. $99 fee for them sending somebody out. He fixed it in about 15 minutes. Clinton was very confident and courteous

Rusty had to come out to make plumbing repairs to my kitchen drain and water heater and do prep work for our new furnace install. He was very friendly and helpful. Communicated very well with me though the process and was able to remove the old hot water heater that was left by pervious owners. I super happy for all his help and with his work.

Very courteous and explained everything he was going to do. He checked things in the house in bathrooms. Did his assessment & came in to tell us what he had done. Explained costs for today and things we might want/need to do in the future. Very thorough! Would recommend your company and the technician!👍🙂
