Great experience, great atmosphere, and most of all great staff!!!

One of the best restaurant experience my wife and I have had in our 16 years of dating (today)!
Dylan genuinely interacted with us heard what we were thinking, gave suggestions, and non intrusively interacted with us where we felt seen and cared for. His food suggestions were so on point too!!!

Ray, was so kind and considerate as he interacted with the different tables. He celebrated us. His history of working here and wanting to help the customers was great to know.

Devin, the bus boy was attentive, and made sure we always had everything we need too!

Walked in on Christmas Eve. No reservation. We were greeted warmly given a cozy table in the reserved section. The place soon filled up. The server (Paul) was delightful and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and everyone seemed glad to be there. The food was perfect. The most wonderful seared tuna I've ever had. My wife's smothered medallions almost melted in your mouth. The wine and dessert also spot on. It was such a beautiful time. What a gift! We'll be back.

Nice place. Service was good. Food was delicious, large servings and plenty of left overs for us.
1/2 hour before we were going to head over we found out reservations are recommended from their website so we made a reservation to arrive 30 minutes later- when we arrived, they were packed. Glad I checked their website and called ahead.

Wonderful food & service. We got there at 4:20 for a very early dinner since we had to be at a game at 6 PM. We did not make a reservation because it was so early. They were booked solid, but we were fortunate to get a table. Dillon, our server, was terrific. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back, but next time, we will be certain to make a reservation!

This establishment stands apart from the typical corporate franchise. Its owners, staff, and menu exude authenticity. Rooted deeply in a genuine love for Italian culture, their passion for the business shines through. Upon stepping into the restaurant, you're warmly welcomed as if you're joining their family.

The service, and the food were absolutely amazing. The ambience of the restaurant is very relaxed yet still feels upscale. Zachary was an excellent, and attentive server. Thank you for your food recommendations.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at DaBaffone, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance, setting the stage for what turned out to be a truly memorable evening. The star of the show, however, was undoubtedly our server, Raymond.

Raymond's exemplary service truly elevated our dining experience. From the moment he approached our table, his professionalism and genuine passion for hospitality shone through. His extensive knowledge of the menu was evident as he effortlessly guided us through the culinary offerings, offering insightful recommendations and answering our questions with a level of expertise that truly impressed me.

What truly set Raymond apart was his attentiveness and genuine care for our dining experience. He anticipated our needs before we even had to voice them, ensuring that our glasses were always full and that each course was presented with the utmost attention to detail. His friendly and accommodating nature made us feel not just like valued patrons, but like honored guests, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that truly enhanced our evening.

Amazing in every way! Food some of the best Italian, staff friendly and knowledgeable about food and wine . We went for the first time in November of 2023 and sat in bar since it was packed on a Wednesday. We now go often because we love the staff, the owners and the food !!! I love the chicken piccata but I have tried so many items and everything was delicious

Great place for our girls night out! Our server was the best! Food was amazing and so was the wine. Our server chose a wine based on my previous choices and introduced me to a new favorite!

We’ve been coming to Da Baffone since they opened. The quality of service and food just continues to delight us. We celebrated our 31st anniversary here tonight and enjoyed yet another delicious meal. 10/10 recommend Da Baffone to everyone wanting authentic Italian cuisine.

Amazing dinner and cocktails . We will be regulars from now on ! Calamari and Old fashions were the best I’ve had ! Great service and owners are wonderful .

We loved our baked clams, pasta, veal marsala and best of all the tiramisu. The service was fabulous and the owner sat with us and talked about our home towns in Italy as we drank Lemon cello! Definitely make a reservation, the best food! Ciao!

Always an absolutely wonderful meal, and the service is second to none. The owners are always making the rounds to make sure everything is up to their standards. Love my dining experience time after time.

We have been coming to da Buffone since the opening and the experience continues to outpace any other Italian restaurant in the area. The consistent quality of the food, service and presence of staff members like Raymond and owner Camille make this a gem that we are lucky to have here in Crystal Lake.

So good! We come here for special occasions and we are never disappointed. Great small local famiky owned restaurant, and you can feel the love in the food and when they greet you.

Wonderful Italian food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. From the Server, to the Hostess and bus person, everyone was professional and friendly. My wife and I will be back there very soon. We did not have a reservation, arrived at 5:30 on a Thursday, but I would recommend making reservations in advance.
