Great big little place in downtown Crystal Lake. We are from out of town and they had everything we needed! Employees were kind and friendly.
And I found a gem, travel size Pinches Miches!

Lengua tacos are the best ever! All of their tacos are good, but it's so unusual to have such an amazing and unique lengua taco.

Great food, and a really good, but small selection of groceries.
I think this might be my favorite burrito in town.
My roommate loves their pork so much that he came back twice in a day to purchase it.

The best Mexican I’ve had in the states! Felt just like Mexico inside and the tacos tasted just like street tacos. Full of flavor and generous portions. Might have to stop again on our way out of town! Will definitely come back for again!

Tried the chicken, Al pastor, and Carne Asada tacos to go, and scarfed them down over at Crystal Lake Brewing Company while enjoying a delicious beer from there. All three of them were outstanding. Highly recommended.

We tried all the tacos, chicken, beef, steak. They were excellent and I am very picky. The price was great $3.25 each. Very fair for the amount of meat you get. We will definitely be back and bring our son.

I had a chicken taco and a steak gordita. Both were very tasty and fresh, the prices were reasonable, and service was quick. Will definitely come back here in the future!

Pastor tacos! Unbelievable... just go there... right now, and eat 'em right there. Get the original kind; cilantro, onion and lime (none of this lettuce and tomato stuff.) Take-out is good too, but just not the same as devouring them on the spot with a Mexican coke or Topo Chico. Peruse the aisles while they cook your tacos. You just may find a new favorite hot-sauce or Michelada add-in!

The staff is genuinely the best and they are all so nice. The cashiers always ask if I found everything I needed, and if I didn’t they try and remedy it.

We LOVE La Rosita. I literally order tacos here once a week minimum. The steak and al pastor tacos are definitely their best. The grocery part of the store is also really nice -- good produce too!

Wonderful food! Our family enjoyed our dinner. It was very fresh and prepared by very nice staff. Our counter person was very helpful and very nice.

love that you have fresh tamales year round. Your fresh made salsas are great. Haven't had any problems with any of our many visits. Workers are very helpful and friendly 🙂

Love going here for my Mexican meats and supplies. Always got to grab something to eat from the taqueria there also. The reviewer that compared it to taco bell/McDonald's is a hater and an idiot. Clean kitchen and good burritos. Will be back!

Love the burritos and tacos here and it's a great small grocery store. Owner Carlos was awesome for donating a Ham to our cheer leading group. We are having a raffle of hams to get money to feed homeless and less fortunate in the community. Please support this store. Melissa Porter

They're food was really good, service was good as well, it was a bit higher priced than out at the Mt. Prospect Location, but I really don't know if they're franchise or all the same owners. Up in the running on quality of mexican cuisine, especially for a takeout grocery store!

Went for lunch with a friend. Great great food! And ice cream is right next door.

Hidden gem on Main Street in Crystal Lake which can describe the produce, fresh meat, or aisles of well stocked Mexican grocery items. Personal favorite is the corner kitchen and that is the jewel in this crown. Doesn’t take Google Map to see Crystal Lake Brewery is across the street and then the dining journey is complete.

Hands down best authentic food in the area always consistent and the staff is amazing.

Went in search of popsicles on a hot day and was pleasantly surprised on the variety of ices and dairy free options. Picked up some fresh guacamole and chips. We will return for tacos.
