This place is SO cute and I love supporting a local, small business. It's a magical place for a Child to explore and pick out some toys! It is a little small inside and occasionally feels cramped, so my tornado toddler makes me nervous in there, but the staff is very helpful and nice and understanding.

The toys can be pricy, but they have a LOT of variety and you can get some excellent wooden toys as well. It's a great place to buy a gift card to, because then the family can come with their kiddo and experience it in person. They seem to have toys for all ages. I've bought for Newborns and my toddler. They can even gift wrap. A real gem of a store :)

Highly recommend this cool toy store if you are visiting Crystal Lake and have little ones. Great service and friendly staff.

We love Marvin’s! They have a great selection of toys, books, building kits, dress-up outfits and more for kids of all ages. My three year old daughter and I went shopping for a gift on Thursday night and found the perfect present and they even wrapped it for us. Perks of shopping small and supporting local business ♥😊

This store is great! There are so many unique toys here!
The owner is a teacher and she knows her stuff! We came in looking for Christmas gifts for my two grandchildren aged 3 and 5 and left an hour later with everything wrapped and ready to go! We had age appropriate crafts, games and books! Best yet, the prices were reasonable and the wrapping free!

Bought a stuffed animal for my son's new sister. Great selection decent prices for a small business and the service was phenomenal. They took the time to wrap the stuffed animal for free and made the whole process seamless and easy.

Went in for the first time just a few days ago. They have a unique selection of stuff. The employee was helpful and caring while trying to help me decide what to get my daughter for her birthday. I feel they are reasonably priced for a small downtown store! I’m excited to take my kids to have a look for themselves!

I adore this toy store! Makes me feel like a little kid when I walk in!!!!! I have 4 grandchildren and 1 on the way and I've always been able to get them the best toys here! It is the place to find something different then your average superstore! I love the owner Lori ! We have loved Marvin's Toy store since discovering it several years ago. It is our go to place for great toys for our grandchildren. Now we have started letting the kids shop with us to buy a favorite toy. They have an amazing selection of educational and quality toys to pick from--and the staff is incredibly friendly.

This store is so cute and full of really unique and good quality items. They carry many brands that I love like Haba, Hape, Begin Again, Magna-Tiles, and so many more. They have a wide range of toys for many ages. My 4 year old is also a huge fan of this place. It's become our regular place to get Tonies from.

Such a cute local toy store! We always stop by when we're downtown. A great spot for kids birthday gifts, holiday gifts, or something fun to do on a rainy day.

The store has a wide range of imaginative toys for every age group. Our family particularly likes the selection of family-friendly board games. The store seemingly has something fun for everyone not matter what interests a person has.

Prices comparable to Amazon. They gift wrapped my purchase for free! Holiday and birthday wrapping paper were available. Highly recommend.

We visited Marvins toy store today in Crystal Lake which is 35 minute drive from where my family lives. Since toys r us closing it’s hard to find good toys in person. Heard of Marvins Toys through word of mouth. My son had Xmas money burning a whole in his pocket and we were itching to take a road trip to get out of the house. As soon as we arrived we were surprised by the amount of stuff they actually had. And to my suprise they had 2 toys they my son absolutely wanted and haven’t seen. He loves the play Mobil stuff and BAM there it was. Me being a cheap skate I whipped out my smart phone to compare the price to Amazon and it was the same price. So with out anymore thought we made the purchase. Great store, staff was friendly and to prices where definitely competitive . Will be shopping there again. A very welcoming atmosphere when walking into the store. They have a great selection of learning toys for children of all ages. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and will help you if needed.

So many different toys for all ages. I loved coming in and just looking around for a while. The feel of the place is very local and gets you out of the typical bix box toy stores into something more personal.
