When in Crystal Lake, FORGET Portillo's! This place has the BEST JUMBO CHILIE-CHEESE HOT DOGS!. Truly amazing! Homemade Spicy Chile fresh everyday, the fattest, juiciest, tastiest Jumbo Hot Dog in a bun ever and then topped off with melted cheese, onion and mustard. To die for! (next to downtown CL Metra Train Station in a tiny trailer no less.) Very large proportion too. It started out as a popcorn place years ago. New owner since.

Got a Chicago Dog and a Corn Dog and a couple popcorn balls. All were great! Super friendly, great, quaint little food spot. Prices super affordable. Highly recommend.

Must visit!!! Been coming here ever since I was a kid, both before and after braces! Their homemade popcorn balls are to die for!!!! They have tons of other menu items I am eager to try. Cannot beat the taste, prices, or friendliness!!!

Lived here all my life and never stopped by somehow Until today. It’s what it looks like a little snack shack. Fair prices. The pop corn is very good I recommend it.

Fantastic buttered popcorn, fluffy and with real butter. Get the family size like I do. Popcorn balls are great. They make a good Chicago style hot dog. Reasonably priced, always friendly. If it's fall don't miss the caramel apples, they are outstanding!

Pop's Corn Crib's chili cheese dogs are absolute perfection. Hands down the best I've ever had and trust me- I've had a lot of chili cheese dogs. The service there is also spectacular, I'm always greeted by a kind smile and you can tell the food is made with love. Go to Pop's!!

I was amazed while during my short trip to Cristal Lake I stopped at this wonderful place! The atmosphere is so cozy and the candy baskets are made with such a great creativity. I already recommended it to all my friends. Wish one day we would have the same place in New York. It’s a nice idea for the present 🎁

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s hands down an amazing small and local shop! They’re known for their popcorn but the soft pretzel with salt and cheese sauce is my top favorite!! Super delicious! I highly recommend stopping by for a quick snack if you’re in downtown CL.

Excellent food, and the popcorn is the best! I had their Italian beef with cheese, and it was juicy, tender, and to die for! I don't like hot peppers, but you can get peppers if you choose! so yum!

They have a good selection of items to choose from and their prices are good too. Swing over and check them out. I personally love their popcorn balls. They take me back to my childhood!

Have been coming to this establishment for a little over a year and can personally vouch for the various flavors of popcorns and the tasty chili cheese dogs, polish sausages, and pretzels! Definitely a go to local business to stop by for in Crystal Lake for the delicious food and friendly service.

Best service I’ve received in a while from a local establishment! The people inside great me, told me about there operations, and made sure I picked exactly what I was looking for in the flavors of the popcorn; I wanted something sweet and savory. Definitely recommend trying here!

This is the best popcorn around! I've been coming here for popcorn for years and am never disappointed. They use REAL butter on their popcorn, none of that artificial stuff they normally serve at most places and their caramel corn(seasonal) and popcorn balls are amazing!!
