FDW Carpet One Floor & Home

What a great experience! We were renovating our home to put it on the market. Ashley & Brian were so helpful showing us what was new and on trend. They have a great selection to choose from which helped us stay in budget and pick a lovely carpet that worked with the new decor. It's actually so nice that I'm sad we are moving out! We were also on a time crunch to get the house on the market and Ashley & Brian were very accommodating to meet our deadlines.

The guys who did the install were courteous and took great care in moving our furniture. They cleaned up very well once they were done.

Ashley and Brian are the owners, and they are the best! They are friendly, patient and worked with us like a team. Their expertise is invaluable when choosing new flooring as there are so many options. We replaced the entire main level flooring of our townhome with laminate and two second-level bathrooms with luxury vinyl tile. All of the flooring was beautifully installed, and we are very happy with the outcome.

from start to finish, FDW is THE best flooring provider i've ever used. Brian took all the time we needed to pick carpet and tile for our recent project. He is very knowledgeable and lived up to his word on all aspects. Install crew was top notch and very happy to be working for FDW (always a great sign). I'd recommend FDW to anyone, anytime!

Ashley and her team treat you like family! We have had our whole house done by them over the last 10 years and everything was perfect every time! Brian was great to work with! We scaled back from the original amount of carpet we discussed during the estimate and he never once tried to push us into getting more than we wanted. He was extremely helpful when it came to picking out the actual carpet and they had no problem holding the carpet for us for several months until we felt comfortable enough to let the installers come due to COVID. We are super happy with our choice. Highly recommend!

I could not have been more pleased with my experience at FDW from beginning to end. We were looking to replace flooring in our whole house, 2600 soft. We decided on luxury vinyl for the kitchen and dining area and carpet for the rest. I wanted a combination of great products that would last and a company I could trust. Brian and Ashley were great to work with. They helped identify the type of products that would meet my needs and which to avoid. They worked within my budget and if I found products elsewhere, they would see if they could get the product. I never felt like Brian or Ashley were trying to sell me flooring, just help me find what I wanted.

I also felt very good about working with their installers. Elliot and his team work fast, but do a great job and pay attention to detail.

As I said earlier, I couldn't have hoped for a better experience.

I just read the reviews about FDW Carpet One. I was shock to see the poor reviews! I think they must be under new management and have new installers. These reviews are very old!
I started working with Ashley Doherty, manager about 2 years ago! Ashley and her staff are wonderful to work with! Knowledge about all aspects of flooring! They have a beautiful selection and stand behind all of there products! They have been very responsive to my design requests and have shown great customer service to my clients!
As in all aspects of home improvement , I have encounter two issues that needed attention from Carpet One. They involved manufacturer defects. Ashley and her team we very responsive both times. In both situations, inspections were made and the issues were resolved immediately! My clients and I were both pleased with the end results of unfortunate situations! I would definitively consider the age of the posted reviews!

I had the pleasure of working with Steve at Carpet One to pick out new carpeting for our home. He was extremely helpful and provided us with a good price for a very nice carpet. They came to the house, moved furniture, removed old carpeting, and cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with the job they did. You cannot see any seams and entryways into different flooring look really nice. Thank you for a job well done.

We recently had our kitchen floor replaced with beautiful Somerset oak flooring. Carpet One was very pleasant to work with and the floor installation went very well. We were able to remove most of the old floor ourselves to cut down on the cost of the job. We did ask about a few small knots in the floor and Brian said if we wanted to have those boards replaced he would have that taken care of. But we decided we were fine with the floor as is. The new floor looks beautiful and we are very satisfied.

Ashley was very friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job of pulling samples that were just what we were looking for and in our price range. She responded very quickly to emails and answered all our questions. In the end, we did not place an order at this time, but carpet one was great to work with.

The owner came to my home and made great recommendations for just sanding and refinishing my wood floor rather than replacing it. It looks great and saved me a lot of money. The workers for both the floor refinishing and replacing the carpet did nice work and were very respectful of my home. Thank you for great work!

Ashley and her team were able to provide a solution for flooring installation on a concrete slab that other stores did not. They were extremely helpful and patient with providing samples to help us select the right style. We look forward to working with them on future flooring projects!

We had been to multiple places in search of carpet. Ashley took great care of us with a no-pressure approach. The installers did an outstanding job and were quick with the work. We will definitely be back!

We had a very positive experience on a very complex job: piecing in new flooring to match a patchwork of existing flooring; sanding old boards; staining all flooring a new, darker color. You absolutely cannot tell new from old flooring.

Leigh and Ashley were great partners from the beginning. Bobby and Team did the magic in the floor transformation. The finished job is breathtaking!
