Noticed this place one day driving by,and we decided today to try it out.. no disappointment here. Good service. Everything made to order...nothing sitting in a pot. Hot fresh and very tasty. Oh ya...menu printing was reasonable.
Back for more nine months later...
Same as before, all hand made, great service, and peaceful atmosphere.

Checked out Orchid Thai for lunch and it was very good. The staff was welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere was great and the food was very good. We started with the tempura cauliflower and the steamed butterfly dumplings - both were delicious. My entree of crispy pad thai was better than I have had in quite awhile. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. It is certainly a good take when looking for delicious Thai food.

Another delightful meal that did not disappoint. Spicy drunken noodles, mango curry, and mango fried rice with chicken and shrimp all delicious!

On the appetizer menu, their signature Steamed Butterflies (steamed dumpling with ground chicken, herbs, ground peanuts drizzled with coconut cream) and their Deep-Fried Brussels Sprouts (drizzled with shoyu sauce, a touch of mirin, and sliced almonds) are always amazing!

As someone who went to Northern Thailand and ate Khao Soi every day for 2 weeks straight, this Khao Soi was incredible. Tasted just like it was from Thailand! I would 100% recommend anyone to come here and try the dish.

It’s great quality of food. They don’t use msg. Fresh ingredients and veggies. They have a wide variety of Asian food. They willingly accommodate your special requests!!!. They have vegan, vegetarian options too. People here are also nice ♥.

Great Thai Food! The corn fritters are amazing. Prompt service, nice atmosphere, comprehensive menu, many vegetarian options. Off street parking. Full bar. Highly recommend.

One of the best quality Thai food restaurants in the greater Portland area. Food and service is very good and they have a fairly extensive cocktail menu as well. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough!

First off, look at this presentation! 🥰 this is easily the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. Crispy pad Thai!! Their lychee martini is so good too. This is a great date night place. This place gets very busy during the weekends. This is a smaller restaurant and they have a lot of to go orders, so please be patient. I promise their food is worth it!

I have had Orchid Thai delivery before, and it was always very good. When we decided to dine-in, I was blown away! This restaurant is so pretty inside! The tables were set up beautifully. And the food presentation was really gorgeous and deliberate. My teenager even took a picture of their meal, which they literally have never done before.

This is THE BEST Thai restaurant in town! It is a bit pricier (a couple dollars more per entrée) than other Thai restaurants in town, but the flavor and quality is top notch. Also, lots of food: an appetizer and two entrees are usually a dinner and lunch for two people! Their Crab Rangoon is delicious and chock-full of fresh crab. The Crispy Fried Rolls are so, so good. And every entrée I've tried--Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Chicken Katsu--are excellent. You really can't go wrong here! Do plan ahead for ordering take-out because the wait can sometimes exceed an hour.

Self-proclaimed footies and pretty darn good chefs ourselves, we are not always impressed when we go out..
My fiance and I thoroughly enjoyed this establishment. The wait staff was expeditious even though they were very busy.
From the dumpling appetizer served with fresh cilantro to brighten it up, to the fall apart tender pork rib soup with perfect umami that made me close my eyes for a second. My guy got the spicy duck what's that perfect amount of spice to make your nose run by the end of it 👌 we enjoyed all of it!!
It was our first time here and even though we live in Auburn, we'll be back!
Also, cocktails were lovely and flavorful.

Everything about my dine-in experience here was perfect. The atmosphere, decor and service was amazing and the food was delicious! We got crispy pad thai, get it -you won't he disappointed! Also the price was surprisingly affordable.

This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in the Portland area. Everything is fresh and the service is friendly. Highly recommend.

Tried this place when we were on our way from Acadia National Park. One of the best Thai restaurants we ever tried. Ambience and hospitality was top notch and the food was amazing too…

Pretty sweet spot… especially for the area. I ordered a yellow curry type of short rib dish, I forget the name but it was excellent.

Takeout was well done, and excellently packaged, with crispy bits, noodles, broth separated to avoid sogginess. Cannot be understated how key this is!

Some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the area. We got some delicious appetizers, but the best was probably the Chicken Satay. My husband raves about his Green Curry dish, and my Crispy Pad Thai was just wonderful. Also, it was great to see them prioritize in house diners over the possibly hundreds of Door Dash orders! Will definitely be going back!

I truly enjoyed my dining experience. I went with my SO and received excellent service. We asked for a to-go cup for the tea, and the waitress brought us a brand new full steaming cup of hot tea!

Loved this place. A little pricey, however, not bothered by it. Totally worth it. Welcoming quiet atmosphere. Delicious food.

We love Orchid Thai, well worth a wait and the price. Portions are great and the staff are very friendly whenever we go in.
