Clambake Seafood Restaurant

I'm really not a big seafood guy but when I do have seafood I like it fried in this place does it right! When you order a seafood platter you better plan on either sharing it or bringing half of it home... I also love the outdoor seating. I guess if I was to complain the only complain I would have is that sometimes it gets very busy.. worth the wait

Cafeteria style; you order then go get it. That's why I rated my service 5 star. Food is good steamers were clean and lobster small but sweet. Drink prices are great. I'd definitely go back

It's kind of cafeteria style. It's kind of loud. They call out the order numbers and people go to the pick up window. That area gets very congested because folks don't realize they can sit and wait till there number gers called so when you go to pick up a tray of food It's a little dicey with people mulling around and stepping in front of you while you're trying to walk.
The food is great and the portions are decent.

As a resident of Old Orchard, my wife and I have made Clambake Restaurant in Scarborough, Me. our go to place when craving for seafood. The prices are a little high as expected, since it is located in a resort town. Having said that, the quality of their food is bar none. Unlike some other places we have been to, the food is not greasy. By that, I mean, that you will not find a pool of grease at the bottom of your plate. I should point out that for the price, you do get a "generous" portion of food. The atmosphere is great and the staff are really friendly. Keep in mind that you might run into long lines, especially on weekends, but it goes fast, especially when people already know what to order before hand. As far as parking goes, don't worry, they have a huge parking lot. As far as our favorite on the menu, we like to go with the Fisherman's Plate Dinner. For $31.95, you get 1.5 lbs of food which includes: Shrimp, Haddock, Clam Strips, Scallops, Whole Bellied Clams, Fries, roll and Cole slaw. Please be warned that this is a BIG portion. It's good for at least 2 and maybe even three people. So, if you are in the area on vacation or even just a day trip, and looking for some good seafood, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it!!! 👌👍

We really love going here. The prices are so reasonable for the large amounts of food you get. My wife and I split meals and still can't finish. And the fish chowder is the same type my mom used to make; like a soup, not a thick stew. This place is great for large groups and seafood lovers

Purchased mates and captains platter in crumbs for takeout. Absolutely excellent and plenty for 3 of us. Highly recommend. Our preference for seafood anytime we come down from Rockwood (3 hrs away)!

Delicious and fair market priced! Im a Maine woman but I love to come here for seafood. I harvest clams and oysters myself, so I know fresh. The fried clams here are either regular dusted or in a batter. I prefer batter. And they are delicious enough for even me! The way its set up is genius. Keeps the lines flowing nicely. One section is for ordering. Another is pick up. Your number is called and you go to window. They serve your tray and ask what condiments you want- no limits! Full service bar. Amazing. And FOUR DINING ROOMS!! Plus a deck overlooking the marsh. My favorite!

My husband and his family had been coming here for years. This was my first visit over, but defiently not my last. Everything was delicious. Hugely generous portions of clean fried food. (And by that I mean you could tell the oil was clean) I enjoyed the resturant seating also. It's cafeteria style, order and pay for your food, grab it when your # is called and find an empty table. Which was great for us, as we were meeting with others and wanted to chat and catch up. We didn't feel rushed to leave.

Delicious variety and combinations of seafood dishes in large portions and tasty side dishes you can share at reasonable prices with a great scenic view from the porch to enhance your dining pleasure. Not fast food but ordering is you order from the menu, pick up your order and seat yourself. This place is popular and there could be a line, it does move quickly and efficiently. Full Bar available as well

Family cafeteria style restaurant. Very spacious and clean. Choice of batter or bread crumbs was a nice surprise. Food was fantastic.

Really fresh whole belly clams. I had them in crumbs, but they offer batter also. Chowder was creamy and brothy. No thickener. Left wallet on picnic table. It was behind the ordering area a few hours later. Great food, service, and people.

Only wish I could tip my bartender on my credit card slip . I had to go to ATM for cash for him to get a tip . Great service tho 👌

The food was so good and it's a fun place to eat. If you have any fries left over (they give you plenty), the seagulls are more than willing to help with that.

Great service, very clean, and super fresh... Very nice atmosphere and well kept for such a formidable space. Tons of seating on the seaside enclosed porch, a beautiful wood and wild room (must be seen) and other available seating rooms.

Price was very reasonable for the freshness and portions.

Order on line had food within 10 minutes and called me on my cell phone when ready remarkable excellent service food and price!

I don't even really like fried seafood, but man, this was delicious and awesome! Food here is absolutely not cheap. But it was delicious and came in huge portions.
