This charming diner serves up amazing food. We went for breakfast and the place was packed. Large portions and super friendly service. Our table had the country skillet and peach cobbler French toast. Highly recommend.

We drove by this diner almost every day for the last year and a half while it was being renovated from a casino/diner into a straight diner and we finally took the "dive" this morning for breakfast...
Once you get into the dining area, you can appreciate all of the effort the (assuming) new owners put into making it like an old family diner. The menu, the ambiance, and the staff is all set to that motif.
My wife and I ordered the Hangover Burrito and a BLT with fries.
Food portions were more than sufficient - we took a to go box. We enjoyed the food and the attention that our host and the waiter paid to us despite it being packed on a Saturday morning. We will definitely try this again.

Some notes: The Hangover Burrito is described as "spicy". I would say it's "flavorful" as my definition of spicy was formed in Texas and Northern Mexico, but it was very tasty and well presented on the plate (see picture). The BLT also tasted great and the fries were perfectly cooked, not too crunchy and not too soft. My wife prefers the bacon a little more on the crunchy side on a BLT, but the toast was great and the lettuce and tomato were very fresh and tasty.

Visiting from bismarck north dakota. Saw the pictures and reviews of this place and had to see for myself. The service was so fast and friendly we were in and out in 25 minutes. The food was well prepared, and cooked to order. If you are getting the breakfast burrito, I suggest you get bacon and sausage because you deserve to spoil yourself right? Slather it up with some of their hot queso cheese and you will be talking about this breakfast for years to come. The carmel roll was definitely fantastic as well. I could recommend the carmel or cinnamon roll both, as they look like the same base roll, but they either ad a rich buttery carmel sauce too or a generous portion of cream cheese on the cinnamon roll. The 2 items listed cost $25 and some change. And in this day and age you cannot get a generic breakfast for 2 from McDonald's for the same price, but I doubt that you will even remember that the next day. Will definitely be back when back in the area.

TL:DR - Looks like a dive, but the food is great!

Stopped in after church for breakfast and we were not disappointed.
It looks sketchy on the outside and the inside isn't anything special. So if aesthetics are more important to you than food I guess this place wouldn't be for you.

Food was cooked very quickly and was delicious!
I would come back just for the caramel roll!

Busy busy on a Saturday morning, a slight wait to get seated. Our waitress was all smiles and friendly demeanor even with being like I said very busy and on top of beverage refills! Loved the mom and pop feel of it and the quality of the food... we will definitely go back!

First time eating here. Diner was clean and laid out well. We dined in for breakfast. I ordered the Country skillet. Wife ordered the hangover skillet. Both portions were generous, took home leftovers. Food was great. Coffee was good.

This cafe is an amazing place to eat! The food is perfect! Their chicken fried steak is definitely homemade all way around! The service was perfection! It was so nice to see the owner cleaning off tables, associating with customers, having a great time with his staff. He wasn’t scared to jump in and help everywhere! It’s so great to see! Definitely a family/friend place to be! It felt amazing being there. It felt like a small town home cook meal! Definitely recommend everyone to stop and try their food! Awesome atmosphere!

I like my food burnt/crispy and ask for it all the time and never get it anywhere but here. Love this place and the food!

What a delight!!! Breakfast at the Campbell Street Cafe was special. The host was pleasant and made sure everyone was welcomed and seated as soon as possible. Our waitress was friendly and so efficient. I had the Breakfast Chimichanga. Wow!! Imagine fluffy scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon and sausage in a chimichanga smothered with green chili sauce and queso served on a bed of expertly prepared hash browns. Yes, that was breakfast. It was as delicious as it sounds!

When I come in from out of town, this is one of the first places I enjoy stopping. The food is always great and they give you big portions that you'll be taking half of it home. Everything's fresh and they make your hash browns very very crispy if you ask them.

Consistently busy for Sat morning breakfast. Limited menu right now due to needing help. Still plenty of good options. The staff was super friendly and the food came out quick. The small stack of pancakes is huge.

Little hometown breakfast Cafe with great home-cooked food and the staff is amazing. I'm not part of the clean your plate club, as my husband says, but my plate was cleaned and every bit wiped clean with my last piece of toast. Country fried steak is hand cut and breaded, the biscuits are light and fluffy, and the gravy is very good even though it doesn't have sausage. My husband got an everything omelet which was really good. Got the caramel roll to go for later so can't comment on it yet, except for it's huge! Oh and they have beer and mimosas!

A great little diner. The service and food were both top-notch and the menu extensive. I had the steak tips and eggs and it was delicious.

This town needs more small town Diners and this one under new ownership hits the spot! I've eaten here 4 times and it is ALWAYS good food.

I like the remodel. It's not fully finished but I'm excited to see the final product.
Breakfast was good. I only got to go a couple times before it closed for renovation. But it will become a regular for me.
Service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

While waiting on my vehicle getting its maintenance care done we had seen this diner down the road.
We opted to go here to get something to eat while we waited.

My son & I were very happy with trying this place. The staff were very friendly, helpful and considerate. Our food was excellent while being plentiful- we ended up taking leftovers 🤗

We will definitely be going here again & will tempt the family members to stop by too for a great meal 😉
