Fast, friendly service here at Charlie’s. My family and I don’t visit here often, but my son played a great game of football and according to his teenage self…he was starving (he’s not starving)😂 and wanted mozzarella sticks. Food was satisfying. There’s something about the ambiance that reminds me of my childhood in Canandaigua. It was busy at the ordering counter, but the team handled it well. Lots of tables available and it was quiet in the dining room. Plenty of parking. Tables were wiped down by staff regularly. I had the blue burger which was good.
It’s gigantic so I want able to eat the fries that came with it. My husband had the half plate which was also large and unfinished. My son had the chicken fingers, fries, mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms and was over the moon happy. Definitely a must if you’re in the Canandaigua area.

Charlie Riedel's, any of the 3 locations, are some of the best overall dining experiences one could have even though it's essentially a burger and hots joint. Always, the service is excellent. The front end staff is always extremely attentive both when slamming busy and when it's slow. The cooks in the kitchen cook perfect to order burgers, fries, hot dogs, fish fries, and more. The meat sauce is unique and absolutely flavor packed. The thick dill pickles on the counter are sensational.

If you haven't tried Charlie Riedel's yet, don't hesitate at all --> You and your whole family will love it!

As others have said, the best plates in Rochester! Their hamburger hot sauce is simply the best. If you’re trying to order online make sure to go to the website instead of the “order online” button on Google maps mobile - the menu seems to be buggy on there.

My first time there. Service was quick and accurate. The fish was delicious as was the turkey dinner. We will definitely dine there again

Awesome restaurant workers are so friendly I recommend the fish fry. The 🍟 are amazing the shakes was a good desert. Highly recommend. Try the Charlie burger.

I love going to Charlie's their fish fry is one of the best. My husband loves their Mac salad. We always stop by when we are in the area. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. A must place to stop by for a good eat!

I love the pickles! The food was excellent, everything you would want in a burger. Plenty of seating in a huge restaurant with an attentive staff.

Such a great restaurant. A constant selection of awesome specials, and as always the classic favorites. As a former Rochester resident, I can say that the garbage plate here is just as good if not better than many you find in the city. Plus, you cannot beat the gigantic containers of pickles on the counter. I have not tried a single thing from Charlie's that I did not like. There is even vegan and vegetarian options as well.

The food was great but went to use to ladies bathroom and the floor was seriously wet and slippery. I almost fell but made it come to attention.

Very unassuming exterior, the staff was great and the food was great. I would happily eat there again over some "fine dining" restaurants that were anything but.

Eclectic menu with local favorites including white hot dogs, a variety of burgers, Italian sausage, fried fish, daily specials, sweet potato fries, onion rings, cole slaw, fried pickles and much more! Cooked & served on your tray at the counter where you order & pay. Seating is spacious & on your own. A must try when in the Finger Lakes area of New York state.

bit expensive but very good! ice cream was so good! the pepper jack cheese is so freaking hot tho. hottest I have ever had. like I'd probably avoid that next time. I got a lightning burger which had it and normally it's tolerable anywhere else , and my husband got a philly cheese steak with the cheese and he said it was super hot too. but the fries were good and popcorn chicken great. love the atmosphere and the waitress was super nice. definitely going back !

The food, as always, is good. I ordered a burger special called the lightning burger, yummy. My wife ordered the fish fry and enjoyed it very much. We've been going there for years, since our kids we're young and still enjoy going back.

Good food for a reasonable price. And free pickles, as many as you want, both sweet and dill.

Love these cheeseburgers with hot sauce, mustard and onions but don't forget to make sure the they are giving you the poppy seed bun as that completes the taste. Chocolate shakes are amazing but you are racking up the calories. They actually have a pretty large menu for a fast food burger place but I usually stick with what I know when eating at Charlie Riedel's.

Very nice people and food is very good. I recommend the fish, burgers and mozz sticks. AS YOU can see my dad enjoyed the fish. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
