By far the best local liquor store that I have found! Great selection of almost everything and at very fair prices. Gold’s takes care of their customers, which is why I will keep coming back.

Prices were good, sales particularly coming from Long Island. Satisfactory experience in picking up some liquor.

This is the lowest price in Newport County. I purchased 2 cases of Opus One here. The price is more than $50 cheaper per bottle than other liquor stores.
The staff are also very friendly.

I love this place! The best selection of wine in the Fall River/Tiverton area featuring a great selection of Spanish (Albariño, Tempranillo, and Garnacha), California, Italian, and Argentinian wine. They also have an incredible selection on Spanish sherry and craft beer.

I spent a month in Newport for a work trip back in FEB of 2020. I’m always looking for harder to find bourbons at a reasonable price. Gold’s Wine and Spirts happen to have Weller 107. The clerk was a little reluctant to sell it to me because I was from out of town and for all they knew I was going to turn around a resell it for a higher price (it happens here in VA all the time). Well I am happy to report that I finally cracked open that bottle of Weller 107 2 and 1/2 years later to celebrate the birth of my son. Thank you Gold’s for allowing me the opportunity to celebrate the birth of my son was an amazing bourbon and not charging and arm and a leg! I highly recommend this establishment for their fair pricing and honestly. When ever the work brings me back to Newport I’ll be stopping by looking for something else special!

Best place to buy bourbon, best customer service

Stopped in while I was in town for a wedding. Greats selection of Beer, Wine and Bourbon. Was able to pick everything up that I needed all in one stop. Very Friendly staff. Jason helped me pick out a bottle of bourbon based on my tastes as well. Very Knowledgeable!

Good competitive prices, and more. They are the only shop around that I know of with a rewards program, which gives you a store credit to help you try that top-shelf spirit you've had your eye on... They are also happy to special order any special wine or liquor with no additional fees, so you're not just limited to what's on the shelf. Always great and friendly customer service.

I can't rave enough about this establishment. The owner Jason is awesome. He goes above and beyond to please his customers. Thank you for personally delivering that special bottle of wine to my daughter for her birthday. Great prices, great service!

The staff at Gold's are super friendly and always offer to help you locate what you need. Compared to other stores in town, they offer fantastic pricing and are very well stocked with a extremely wide variety of wine and beer! I would highly recommend a visit to Gold's.

Great location! On the way to Newport, we always grab snacks at the Middletown Stop and Shop then walk over to Gold's for some adult beverages before heading to Newport to hit up the beach or have a picnic. The store is well stocked, has a wide variety, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Love this place, they have everything. Such a great selection to choose from and the staff is always pleasant. Jason and Chris are fantastic and helped me find exactly what I needed for a large event. By far, our favorite stop for spirit's in Town.

Gold's Wine and Spirits surprised me from the get go. It is a rather unassuming storefront attached to stop and shop, but upon entering I was surprised by their great selection. Being a whiskey drinker I was surprised to see some fairly rare offerings on the shelf for retail pricing. It is too far away to be my regular store, but if I ever find myself in the area I will be stopping by again!

The new owners of Gold's Wine and Spirits are doing a great job of updating and improving both the available selection and the experience of shopping here. Always greeted with a smile and the expanding wine selection offers some great new choices. You guys should stock some Alaskan beers!
