Easton's Beach

Nice beach. Clean and it has plenty of parking.

Quiet beach in the winter, very clean. Parking lot is close to the water though I imagine it's quite crowded in the summer. Nice place to watch the waves.

Sand is perfect. Barely any sharp seashells and plenty of room to play volley ball. DON’T go for the sunset, since it sets behind the on site aquarium building. Parking is free in the late afternoon. The water seems ok as far as cleanliness but I haven’t gone in to provide a good judgement.

Easton beach is one of my favorite beaches at Newport. It’s close to the downtown area and the cliff walk is right there. Does get crowded during summer. I visited Easton beach during March, a bit chilly but it was a beautiful day. You see more locals than tourists. Plus the daffodils were on full bloom. 🤍🤍

Even though it was a windy and kinda cold day. The kids had a blast gathering sea shells, running around and playing in the sand and water! Parking isn’t cheap. But worth it!

Nice and chill, parking is $25. There are lifeguard on duty depending on the time of the day or where you are set up. The lobster rolls at Twin Roll are a must!

Reasonably clean and pleasant beach. A good choice to spend time with friends and family. There are also lifeguards on duty.

The Easton’s Beach is a beautiful and breathtaking white sand beach in Newport, Rhode Island.

I brought myself and my wife for a visit and swim at Easton’s Beach during our honeymoon in Newport, RI in September of 2018.

We were both impressed the cleanliness of the beach and enjoyed swimming in the warm and relaxing water.

Easton’s Beach provides great views of the ocean and the Cliff Walk, a popular place of interest in Newport.

What also makes Easton’s Beach remarkable is its close proximity to facilities, rental cabanas and a seaside snack bar.

When visiting Newport Rhode Island, definitely go for a smooth and comfortable swim at Easton’s Beach!!!

One of the best beaches I've been to. Wide beach, somewhere around a mile long. Small pier area with shops. Parking lot with high cost, or metered street parking at a better price. Great view of the cliff walk and mansions on one side and houses facing on the other side. Beach is enclosed on both sides so waves are smaller and much more enjoyable. Sand is very soft on your feet. Lots of seagulls, it's fun to watch them drop clams and fight over them. The ocean is reddish due to the algae, which is pretty. Not overcrowded at all. Highly reccomend and within walking distance from the cliff walk.

beach has a maintained changing/shower room which has 4 private shower stalls, incredibly useful if you are there for whole day visiting and want to rinse off before leaving. bring ur own soap, shampoo, towel. No temperature adjustment but water is definitely comfortable enough for kids to take a shower.
Outdoor showers are in fact more like misters.
Beach has bathrooms and a restaurant and lifeguards.
Parking lot is $10 weekdays, $20 Sat and Sunday.
There is metered parking for $2 and hour and can use a credit card - 3 hour max.

The views are priceless. Parking lots offer Pay by car kiosk. They have an Aquarium on site also. The snack bar is priced reasonably affordable. The food was delicious. I enjoyed it like I was on vacation.

Had a wonder experience here at Easton’s Beach. Clean ocean fronts, friendly people, little to no garbage laying around. There are Seafood restaurants not far of a walking distance from the beach and an Ice Cream Shop in concessions

Love this beach and its cleaniness. Another add on is cliff walk near it on the walking distance. There are some amazing beach shots you can capture from cliffwalk and beach. Sometimes the parking is paid($20) but you arrive after 4 pm there are no parking charge in the summer. Beach is well maintained and have a kids area as well. Pets are also allowed on the beach. There is an aquarium next to it which we haven't visited yet.

Ver pretty beach located right near our hotel. We ended up there right around sunset. It was beautiful. There was also a wedding going on in one of the local venues and they were taking pictures at that sunset moment. I'm am positive they had perfect pictures to remember their wedding by. A little chilly that night as it's November. But i sat in my car and watch the sun set. Loved it. The next morning there was about 10-12 surfers surfing. That was neat.

This place is one of jewels of Newport. Within walking distance of the cliff walk entrance. What a beautiful place to beat the heat. The Views are spectacular. Parking attendant had great customer service. The parking lot was clean and well designed. I highly recommend this experience.

It's a beautiful clean beach. Cliff walk is also very nice.

We visited this place on a weekday morning so it was not too crowded. The beach was clean and relaxing. Parking lot was $15 for the whole day or there is a meter parking along the side of the beach.

The location was great because the beginning of Cliff Walk is near it. Additionally, the beach is located near the Newport harbor (restaurants, hotels, and shops) which takes around 8 minutes by car.

Don’t forget to try the delicious lobster rolls at the Easton Snack Bar!!! I highly recommend it.

Today was the Polar bear plunge!!! They were so many people that participated!!!
