Redfrog & McToad's Grub-n-Pub

Being a Hoosier ex-pat, I am always in search of a good breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. I found a good one here and not just one but two tenderloins made up this fantastic sandwich. Tender, juicy and the breading was good. Had the onion straws with it which made a great lunch.

Pleasantly surprised!! Insanely good food. Service was great and servings were huge! Nice atmosphere!

We loved this place! Fast, friendly service and great food. I ordered blackened shrimp tacos that came with beans and rice, but it was a wonderful island twist… nothing TexMex about it. What a wonderful surprise. My husband’s fish and chips came with hush puppies and slaw. He was very happy with all of it. We arrived mid-afternoon and they were sold out of crab cakes. We’ll definitely come back earlier next time.

The food was really good. I order the USA Burger w/cheese and fries. The fries were very crispy and I love them like that.

Stopped in here around noon on a Sunday and it was busier than I was expecting. When we arrived the host told us that they were in the process of switching from breakfast to lunch service and so that it would be about 20 minutes or so before food would be ready. This didn’t matter to us and I appreciated the heads up which ended up being spot on. I ordered the shepherd’s pie which was pretty good. My fiancé had fish and chips which was also very good, especially the fries. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Though there weren’t any games on while we were there, I could tell it seems like a good place to watch one and grab a drink.

Comfortable, casual and relaxing. I know they seem like odd words for a restaurant/sports bar. As soon as you walk in, you feel welcomed. All different pro and college team memorabilia all throughout the restaurant, which makes everyone feel comfortable. We’ve had breakfast here and it was wonderful. We came back tonight for the thin crust meat lovers pizza. It’s amazing. Try it if you have the opportunity!

Pleasantly surprised. Our sever was very attentive despite being pretty busy. We ordered chicken tacos, coconut shrimp and a chicken wrapped. All were fantastic. French fries were amazing. I highly recommend

We had a very friendly host and waiter named Ian who gave terrific service! The food was hot, super delicious and quick, especially for how busy it was as it's spring break time. Not to be missed! The N.E. and Minorcan clam chowder were incredible! Plus, it's called Redfrog and McToads, why wouldn't you go? 😀

Lobster tonight was great, and staff helped teach me how to eat it. Wife went with the liver and onions special. Highly recommend.

Our server was friendly and polite. Everyone loved their food. It all tasted fresh and looked great. The bathrooms were also very clean.

This was an amazing meal. New things to try like fried Spinach that comes with Bada Bang Bang Shrimp. It was such great food and Kylie our waitress was amazing. We also had coconut shrimp, Losbter and shrimp queso, and clams. All of it was super good. Definitely going back.

Stopped in here for lunch yesterday on our way to Anastasia State Park. What a pleasant surprise!! Great service, food was super (try the local clam chowder!!) and ice cold beer! Great place, wish it was closer to Daytona!

Sports bar with cool atmosphere. Waitress suggested the shrimp tacos and they were 10/10. Nice homemade dressing on top was amazing. Local spot, give it a try!

Although their web page menu was smaller than the actual one in the restaurant and prices doubled... the food and service were excellent 😋

Nothing short of a fabulous experience! After a terrible disappointment yesterday from a restaurant in close proximity, Kylee (our server) was fabulous! she was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive…. she never let me hold an empty glass, brought us our orders promptly and correctly, presented us with option for additional food/drinks (up-sale) and made us feel important- What used to be the standard of service. As for th food: Lobster and shrimp queso and fried clams were a great starter. Next came the Coconut Shrimp and Bada Bang Bang Shrimp with fried spinach. They were also cooked to perfection. As a side, they have Hush Puppies… Until today, I didn’t get what was so special about “Hush Puppies”…. the were always just fried cornbread. Today I experienced something wonderful. The Hush Puppies are light crispy and DELICIOUS! Folks- I am a fan and I don’t say it lightly. Thanks to Kyle, the cooks, and the rest of the crew. Definitely going back and proud to recommend!

Great little joint, not too long of a wait on a Friday night. Most seafood places were 2 hour wait or longer. No cod, but I got the haddock, it was good, but the breathing was a little greasy for me. The coleslaw was great. The dill tarter sauce was amazing. Hot wings were really good, dipped in garlic Parm butter. Lobster Mac n cheese was 💯, a must have. Jalapeno burger was really good, but a little spicy. Chicken dip needed to be less chunky, but taste was great. French dip was really good, and the an jue was the best. Waitress was awesome!

The food was Amazing 😋 I had the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich with Onion Straws and my Hubby had that Haddock Sandwich with French fries 👀‼ Soooo much to eat and fair prices...Our Server/Barmaid was Jen and she's A+ 😁‼

We had the pork tenderloin sandwich, we are from Ohio and Indiana but live in Atlanta where we have not found this sandwich. Everytime we come to St Augustine we make a special effort to get the pork tenderloin sandwich here at Red frog and McToad.

On girls day we would see the Red Frog and Toad heading to St. Augustine so we finally stop the atmosphere was a pub style air with sports team paraphernalia. The menu had alot of irish style food I had a burger that was done to my perfection and there cocktails read delicious. Our service was wonderful thank you to the server and cook for an amazing lunch.

They have an extremely diverse and delicious menu. Servers are all friendly. Owner is there most all nights. Fun and lively crowd of ppl who seem to always go there. Parking lot is easy in and out.

I love their corned beef. The Feta Island Salad is sooo good with the fruit and feta and fancy greens. Bar service is great with Jennifer and Maddie hustling like no tomorrow. Great place for the family or a date.

Went back in 2023 and they have their full menu back. Seafood queso was a decent appetizer if recommend. Also loved the turkey reuben.
