St. Augustine Beach KOA Holiday

This is a decent KOA. Staff is friendly, it's well kept and clean. Nice dog park and a good area to walk the dogs. It's close to all the attractions in the St. Augustine area so it's a good landing base for your stay. The park is long and narrow and sites are on the small side, but we had enough room for our purposes (we have a 32' fifth wheel.

Only good things to say about this place for RV. Stayed at Lakeside pull through. One mile from the beach, walk or bike... four miles from drive on beach. Local traffic is a little loud, but not that bad. We been here three times two to three weeks each time. They stay on top of everything.

We spent our Christmas here and loved it. This place was awesome. The staff was fantastic and the restroom shower facilities were excellent. The workers drove around in golf carts picking up your trash even. They have cabins you can rent. There is even a small lake with paddls boats. I can't say enough about this place. Will I go back? Hell yes, we are already talking about renting a cabin this time.

We booked a cabin for a last minute weekend getaway and to check out St. Augustine. From the first phone call, to check out we were met with extreme friendliness, fast courteous service, and friendly people. The camp bathrooms were stocked and clean and the shower rooms were clean and dry almost every time we went in. There were plenty of workers to help or answer any questions & they even had onsite trash pick up. They have a minimal camp store, but lots of shopping options nearby. The pond was clean & we even caught a few small bass. The wood we bought from the store was great. It was dry, easy to light and burnt clean and well. If you camp often you would understand mentioning the wood. I only wish the same people/park were in a more rural area with trails etc. nearby, however we booked this place due to its location to downtown St. Augustine and the local attractions. I rarely give 5-Stars, however it being near town they really made it feel like we were in a rural campground. Would definitely return.

This is a older campground. We didn't see much if the staff while there. Our interactions with the store attendant were pleasant. The lots are smaller but come with furniture in most. We even got a lot that provided a gas grill. A huge plus was shuttle pickup for the beach bus and hop on hop off pick up right in the park. There are some shopping options in the area. We did not use the amenities.

We stayed this past weekend here in our travel trailer and loved it! The spot we had was the best in our opinion and hopefully can request in the future when we come back. Everyone was super friendly and was working hard. Everything we wanted to go do while visiting was driving distance which was super convenient. The play area here is smaller than another KOA we stayed at but 5 minutes down the road at the beach they have a bigger one with splash park which was nice. The pool was nice and clean nothing wrong with that. I did not use the dog park, or the laundry room so I can not comment on that. I would highly recommend staying here any day.

We have been to this campground three times and always enjoy it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Sites are well kept. There is a trolly tour stop on site, and the beach is about a mile walk.

Nice park!!!! clean restrooms, laundry great staff, canal with wildlife. Will stay again!! St Augustine is lovely!

I got one of the cabins & it's perfect for me. Fresh air, quiet neighbors, everything within 10 min drive

I very much enjoy staying at the KOA in St. Augustine Florida. The park is close to everything one would want or need. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The park is easy to find and sites and comfortable and roomy. I highly recommend this RV park.

One of the best KOAs we have stayed at. Amenities are spotless and the staff are very helpful. Have shuttle service into St Augustine that lets you avoid traffic. Highly recommend.

I have to admit, after reading some of the other reviews I was a little worried but it was too late to cancel so I was just hoping for the best. I'm so glad I didn't cancel because we absolutely loved our stay! Everyone there is so nice, relaxed, and accommodating! I honestly believe if you have an issue and bring it to their attention they will do everything they can to resolve it so please give them that opportunity before leaving negative feedback. The pool is nice and clean and I love that it had a ledge to sit on that goes all the way around the pool. Also love that there is easy access to the restrooms. We've stayed at several KOA's and this is the first one that had the toilet, sink, and shower all in one room so that was really nice as well. We booked a tent site and were able to fit 2 large tents and a canopy that we put over the picnic table. Yes the campground is surrounded by busy roads but we had a box fan in our tent which drowned out most of the noise plus we live in a city so what noise we could hear didn't bother us at all. We can't wait to come back!

Les than 10 min from St. Augustine oldtown, place was amazing perfect first trip for our camper van, bathrooms are super clean, quiet at night, really safe and a bunch of amenities even laundry

Clean, family friendly, dog friendly place. Staff was so welcoming! Internet was a little slow and our site backed up to a restaurant with a loud ice maker and air conditioner that was a bit loud especially at night. It’s a campground in a city, though- so worth it. Close to the beach and a quick ride to downtown St. Augustine!

We just stopped in to get some things for our RV. Great service! We stayed here a couple years ago in our RV. They have a great setup for traveling families!

Nice clean campground, well maintained by friendly staff. Small lake on property, concrete patios with gas grill and tables and chairs at each site.
About a mile from the beach down a quiet street.

The campground was great. Pools are not open year round if they were they would be heated none of the 4 campgrounds we stopped at were heated. Makes me want to stay at a hotel

Great site near water. Squirrels and birds plentiful. Loved feeding them. Ducks very friendly. Staff too. Will revisit

Beautiful little KOA. Doesn’t have a lot of the extra amenities but the pond and trees are peaceful. It is close to St Augustine and lots of things to do. We had a great time.

Very clean campground with an extremely friendly staff. From check in to check out, we had a blast at this super friendly campground. This is the first campground in over twenty years where every site had a nice glass patio table with 4 nice chairs and a gas grill to use. The gas grill even had a full tank of propane all at no extra charge. Water, sewer and electric all worked as expected. If I had to find a negative it would have to be the slight noise you could hear from the traffic from A1A. Still a great spot within a couple miles of downtown and the amphitheater.
