The food here is always excellent, the staff is acceptionally friendly & polite!So much so that some go the extra mile & fulfill my nutty special requests. This last time, I requested olives on toothpicks to give my Sammy eyes. They don't have olvies, but that didn't stop the team member from completing my request!

This is one of my favorite places in the area. It's great for catching up with friends + a great coffee date spot. It is a little bit pricey especially the meals, so I usually just get a coffee and a pastry. I love the pastries they're amazing!

Their seasonal menu is always so innovative... autumn squash salad was exceptional. Erica suggested the bacon add on...divine!

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. The staff was friendly and patient as I decided what to order. My breakfast sandwich was delicious. I had egg, Gouda (who's offering such nice cheeses on their breakfast sandwiches?!?!), bacon, tomato, and avocado. It was obviously made fresh and the cheese was nice and melted on a toasty croissant. The bacon was firm but not too crispy, perfect for a sandwich as too crispy would just crumble and fall off. My iced chai was also quite delightful. I ordered it with a non-dairy alternative. Much to my surprise they had oat milk and coconut milk as options. I chose oat. Could not be happier with my decision to stop here for breakfast. Do yourself a favor and plan to do the same if you're ever in the area.

Great service, hidden spot, more should know about it! Nice coffee and food menu supporting farmers in Guatemala and they also give back to the hungry in Calvert county.

Good food, friendly service, you can sit outside when the weather is nice. Very relaxing while eating lunch!

Attended a wreath making class, had a great time.

Very nice cafe offering fresh baked goods and incredible food. Attached to a local church and has a mountain lodge vibe. Very kind service and quick on the orders. A perfect little stop with nice outdoor eating areas as well.

Pricing was fair and I highly recommend the avocado toasts or their salads. If your a beef person the burger has a great bunn and a nicely seasoned patty!

This place is amazing! They always have delicious drinks, food, and pastries! I haven't had better service anywhere else in Calvert! The staff are all outstanding, and hats off to the chefs! Just be sure to order your coffee extra hot if you like it normal hot 😆

I moved to Baltimore and I miss this place so much!!! I used to go at least twice a day. Some weekends I go out of my way back to Calvert just to visit them for their avocado toast and iced lattes!! The staff is amazing and there’s a lot of room to sit and relax. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars though for the muffins. I wish they made the pumpkin chocolate chip muffins all year. They are the best muffins ever 😭

This place is wonderful. I’m not a coffee drinker, but they make a wonderful London Fog. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is awesome. Very peaceful.

This is a must-go! Our first time in the Chesapeake Beach area and we couldn’t have picked a better spot for breakfast. Try the avocado toast and split one of their blueberry muffins. The only thing I wish we’d have known about was the plentiful amount of outdoor tables available at 8:30am on a Saturday. It was a beautiful day and we could’ve eaten outside. Pick-up experience was still great, however.

I am continuously impressed with The Lobby. Their staff are some of the nicest, most courteous, and welcoming bunch of people I've ever interacted with across a countertop. The coffee, from Open Seas Roasters, is phenomenal. I tend to gravitate towards their pour-over options which are priced fairly for what they offer. The food is reasonably priced, delicious, and there are plenty of options to choose from.

One thing. The double doors facing to the South, the area where the handicap ramp ends and/or begins, needs to be unlocked. If not no point in having a handicap ramp in that area if one can not enter the Cafe from there. Not everyone needing to use the ramp will be in a wheelchair, but may use a walker.
