Went to see Dr. Fagelman for my shoulder pain. He was very friendly and answered any questions that I had. He is very knowledgeable in his field. He treated me with respect and was very concerned with my condition. All I can say is that he is an awesome doctor!! I am so glad I was able to find such a great doctor who is genuinely concerned about his patients. His whole team was great! I highly recommend him to anyone who has shoulder or elbow pain.

Dr Fagelmen and his team are amazing. Not only is Doc an expert at what he does and it shows but his team is best in class.

First visit with him and you can tell him and his team truly care. It’s not an in and out how many visits can we get in a day but the focus is clearly on quality of care. Not to mention. Thy were on time (shouldn’t be rare but it is)

His assistants may actually outshine doc in this case. Had to get some injections (hate needles) and his team handled it the best I’ve ever had.

Some most specialist hope to not need their services again but if I do; I’m glad I know about him and his team.

I was taken back promptly, even before my appointment time! MA, Xray tech were both very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Fagelman explained everything to me, a set plan to help my pain and showed great compassion!!

This past year was a hard one! I am so grateful to have the wonderful staff at Dr Fagelman’s office in Carrollton.
Lissette always welcomed me with a smile and friendly conversation, I can tell she enjoys what she does. After my surgery I had the pleasure of seeing Rich at several of my follow ups. They both took good care of getting me healthy and answering all my concerns. I truly am thankful for the care that I received!

My first visit was great. Injured my shoulder a few months ago and finally got the MRI I needed done by local facility.
Went to OrthoTexas in Carrollton, Dr. Fagelman reviewed the MRI and X-rays, explained what I had done to my shoulder and recommended plans for treatment and aftercare. He then asked what action I wanted to take to move forward.
I appreciated his thorough explanation of the procedure, immediate aftercare and long term aftercare.

I can’t say enough good things about Ortho Texas. Dr. Fagelman is excellent. He took the time to explain my injury, and the plan of care. His entire staff was equally as friendly and professional. He’s treated two separate injuries (shoulder and elbow) and I can confidently recommend him.

I am almost 3-1/2 months out from my first total shoulder replacement, and my shoulder is healing nicely—my range of motion is great, x-rays look good, and, according to Dr. Fagelman, I’m “ahead of the curve” in my healing. I’ve scheduled another follow up in 3 more months. My most sincere thanks to Dr. Fagelman and his staff for helping me to achieve the best possible outcome from this first of many surgeries I’m facing toward achieving my goal of total mobility and physical independence.

Rotator cuff surgery last Sept 2022. This was the only significant surgery I have experienced. I had "the worst tears" Dr. F had seen "in a long time". Recovery was tough but after six months with physical therapy, Dr. Fagelman was right on the money. I have full function and nearly full range of motion already with minor pain. Full recovery is to take another six months so I'm not surprised that there is more work and healing to go before I am 100%. Very satisfied with everything.

Dr Fagelman listened to my concerns and explained things in a way I could understand what he was saying. His staff is very professional too. The X-ray tech took great care to make sure the pictures she took were of high quality while not causing me pain. She was very professional and enjoyable to work with.

Today is six months since rotator cuff & bicept tendon repair surgery performed expertly by Dr. Fagelman. His skill, talent and professionalism is second to none. I truly appreciate him and his professional staff, Rich and Lissette. They were always kind and competent, communicated clearly, and returned my calls promptly. My physical therapy experience at the adjacent OrthoTexas facility in Carrollton was amazing. I primarily saw Cindy but worked with some of the other staff members as well. All of these folks have led me down the path to a full recovery, and I will be forever grateful.

Without a doubt, Dr. Mitchell Fagelman is an outstanding Shoulder specialist. I broke my shoulder blade when flying off my bike and landing on my shoulder. It was a bad break and required surgery using plates and screws to put the pieces back together.

Dr. Fagelman did the surgery on 2/16/22. I now 5/29/22 have full mobility in my right shoulder and arm. I still have to build up strength but am relieved I can do the same things I was able to do before.

Dr. Fagelman is a true professional and easy to talk to. He went over the X-rays with me and my needed surgery. It sounded scary to me but he assured me I would have full mobility again which I do.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Fagelman but was glad I found him.

I had a great experience with Dr. Fagelman, his staff, and OrthoTexas.

I had a decades old sports injury which had gotten worse over the past few years and turned into early arthritis. I had received treatment for it during all that time, so I was told what to expect as it progressed. Finally, it got to the point where I needed an intervention.

I consulted several surgeons, and only Dr. Fagelman offered me the option of an arthroscopic procedure. The other physicians wanted to do a full replacement immediately, and didn't even mention this procedure as an option. Not everyone is a candidate for this procedure, but Dr. Fagelman thought that I would be, so we went ahead with the surgery.

It has been just over 3 months, and the results have been great. Even at about 8 weeks, my shoulder was already better than it was months before the surgery. The acute part of the recovery is over, but complete recovery will require another 6-9 months of work, so this procedure requires commitment. My mobility is very good already and continues to improve, and strength is following. Clearly, I did not need a shoulder replacement at this time, as my arthroscopic procedure has been very successful. Although there is likely a replacement in my future, this procedure should allow me to significantly delay the need for it.

I would like to thank Dr. Fagelman, as this procedure has already allowed me to return to many important activities without pain. I anticipate I will be able to add even more activities over time, some of which I haven't been able to do in meaningful ways for years.

This was my second injury in the past year. I was greeted promptly and with a smile upon arrival. I waited less than 10 minutes before being ushered to a room by Dr. Fagelman’s kind and friendly nurse. I waited only a couple of minutes before I was taken back for x-rays. The technician was also very friendly and proficient I saw Dr. Fagelman less than five minutes later. He has excellent bedside manners and explained my condition and treatment plan. His PA gave me an almost painless injection and I was on my way. The check out process was speedy and the clerk was friendly. Dr. Fagelman has done surgery on two family members and he repaired my rotator cuff about 8 months ago. While the recovery was painful, Dr. Fagelman and his staff took great care of me. He and his team are amazing!

Dr. Fagelman is outstanding. He has a great bedside manner, and he will take the time with you that you need to gain an understanding of the procedures you'll undergo. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing treatment for shoulder issues.
