Tom Thumb

What appeals to me about this Tom Thumb is it’s one of the original stores and retains that smaller, friendly neighborhood grocery store vibe. The meat & produce quality is outstanding. It may not be the biggest TT, but the selection is very good & there are many favorite items that I can’t find in other places. Good weekly deals & member discounts are a plus. The floral department always has beautiful live plants, gorgeous arrangements & cute planters. The staff is pleasant and helpful. It gets pretty busy at times, but doesn’t everywhere else too? 😊

The workers are helpful. It smells nice when you walk in the main door. The bakery makes yummy cakes. If you use the pharmacy to get meds, you can fill up a little card. When it gets full you receive a 20% off coupon to use in the store

I was very pleased with the service provided from Tom Thumb florist (the flower was for my niece's concert, and she was very pleased with it).

This store has become tremendously better since Rita W began working here recently. I have shopped here for a long time, because it was convenient, not for the service. Rita has improved the service in a major way. There have been several times she has helped me locate hard to find items no matter how busy she is, and she always appears to be doing something productive. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Now I can honestly say I shop here for the service.

I was at the store on Sunday 11/13 in the afternoon. The selection of vegetables were poor quality in the produce section. I was not happy. Also it seems that at this time on a Sunday, stocking of shelves should be complete, but several aisles were blocked with stock, making it difficult to pass in a wheelchair. It got better when I went to the self check out. A beautiful young lady (Rita W on her tag) was very helpful. I was in my wheelchair and had a full cart of groceries. She checked me out and bagged all my groceries for me. She also called a young man (didn’t catch his name) to help me carry them to my car. He was also very friendly. Bless her heart I was going to rate you one star for poor quality of vegetables, but because of Rita W, I will now give a rating of 5.

Went to shop for brisket on 12/16/22 and had no clue what to buy except I needed lean and over 12lbs. I went to the meat market where I met an employee Tyler who was super sweet and I explained to him what I needed and he actually took about 15-20 minutes of his time to assist me and find the perfect cut of brisket and even went to the back to look thru briskets that were not out yet and found me a really nice brisket. The fact that I was clueless and Tyler helped me as much as he did meant a lot. I don’t encounter that kind of customer service hardly ever anymore. Way to guy Tyler. Love this Tom Thumb and location. Always clean and organized. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Absolutely love this store every time I go!! Everything is always stocked especially the produce!!! The produce always looks fresh with a wide variety. Plus a great bonus is their amazing plant area I cannot help myself every time I go in there, check for bugs though saw a couple with bugs last time but that is to be expected. Also have a huge wine section for anyone looking for something unusual or new.

Clean, Wonderful service. First time at this store. And we found all that we needed. Polite people. Nice prices. Thanks for everything. Happy New Year 2023. We will be shopping here more.

I like this store. It’s one of the bigger ones and offers a larger selection. I’m particularly excited about the different variety of seafood that are offered. The veggies are fresh and more abundant

Renewed my car registration here on a Saturday- fastest service I’ve had. Make sure to bring the letter they send you in the mail- they’ll need that.

I usually don’t like to ask for help at the grocery store but Rita W was super friendly and helpful! She stopped what she was doing to help me; I believe she was the manager. A great experience!

The staff were all friendly. So hard to find lately. The eastern european lady who was bagging my groceries put them in the cart and actually re- arranged to take care of my eggs and bread. Small gesture and appreciated. Odd that I find this service out of the ordinary.

Tom thumb usually has the best selection of fruits and vegetables of any grocery store in the Carrollton area. I really like being able to depend on their product. They only have one product that we need that they don't carry and I run elsewhere for that one but usually I can get everything I need here at Tom thumb. The staff is very courteous and helps find things and helps with checkout.

I love Tom Thumb, even if I am in another part of town, I prefer returning to "my" Tom Thumb. I would like to suggest for the seniors, there should be some options for sitting down when getting tired. I know there is Starbucks but if you are on the other side of the store, it is too tiresome to walk over there. Your store is not the only ones who have forgotten to do this. Many thanks.

It was great. We actually went to Kroger first and they were supposed to be open but they weren't. We waited about 5 minutes and left for tom thumb. No problems there and we didn't have to check ourselves out. We will be going more often.

From milk to a steak this Tom Thumb has great staff and is a must for my oops I forgot list

Clean store with friendly employees. They carry a good selection of grain free items like brownie mix, muffin mix, Pancake mix, tortillas, etc. They have a few dairy free items like ice cream and milk. And I've found a good selection of gluten free cookies.
