Beautiful new travel plaza. Bright and spacious, with plenty of seating.
Currently houses a Chick-Fil-A, Shake Shack, Auntie Ann’s, Starbucks, and a gas station.

A beautiful plaza stop off the highway. You can expect it to be extremely busy but will have ample seating and food options and coffee. Lines will be long and everything will be very expensive but we really enjoyed our stop here.

The Clifton Springs Travel Plaza on I-90 East stands out for its modern, recently updated facilities. Notably clean and efficiently arranged, it offers a specialized play area for children. A fully-equipped gas station and convenience store make it an optimal stop for travelers. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a restful and efficient pause while on the road.

First time in the new thruway rest areas and they are great. Love the food and drink options and the open layout. Tons of restroom space and everything was nice and clean. Staff was friendly everywhere I went and the food was good. What more could you ask for?

This place was nice! New York has nice rest areas. I never traveled this far and was shocked and on the updated and modernization of the facilities.

There was a few restaurants. It had a sitting lounge area and a eating area. The building was equipped with a private baby feeding room separated away from the restrooms. I liked the modern bathrooms with the sinks having separate hand dryers at the sink. That's convenience.

The parking lot was well lit with ample parking for handicapped, electric vehicles charging stations, and truck parking.

There was a little grocery store inside for snacks and souvenirs. Was disappointed that they had no souvenirs clothing for kids or babies. All the shirts were for adults. Most people would like to buy for everyone in the family or gifts for all ages. If you're passing through and want a souvenir it's quite limited but adult sized items weren't priced too bad.

The new Clifton Springs Travel Plaza is miles better than the old one there before. There’s clean restrooms, burgers, healthier fare at the store, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, NY state stuff and more.

Good food, clean bathrooms. Expect long lines at peak times. Poorly staffed. We lost over a half hour on our trip just waiting in line. Do not stop at a rest stop that has a chik-fil-a on a Sunday because they are closed. The other places will be busier and your wait will be longer.

This is a great rest stop, there's a nice selection of food. They have a place where you can buy all kinds of cool souvenirs there seems to be always somebody outside who's selling some kind of homemade something. The facilities are huge no lines which is always a plus when you're traveling and the gas station on the other side.

Friendly staff who had us all from 2 coaches turn up all wanting hood coffee and hot food. They had a few mistakes but they put things right as soon as they realised, although some of the coach people where not so friendly about it the staff where friendly back. Toielt area was clean and maintained and the shop was filled and looked good ready fir the day ahead.

Clifton Springs has a new layout and design including Starbucks, Shake Shack, Chick Fil A and mini mart.
Also includes Local Farmers Market from April to November(Weather dependant) with Seasonal fruit, honey,jam,syrup and more.

Me and my family stopped by here yesterday and the place was nice! It's very open and they have Starbucks!! The restrooms are well stocked, clean, and modern looking! They also have Shake shack restaurant and a convenience store inside. It's nice and we like it! It's also co-located with a Sunoco gas station outside. It's very convenient and accessible to everyone.

Clifton Springs Travel Plaza is a traveler's haven. Impeccable cleanliness and a wide range of delicious food options make it stand out. Newly renovated. Very nice space to relax and recharge. Free WiFi and a place to do some work. Good food options, clean. Very nice.

This place is great 👍 anyone traveling can rest assured that you will feel welcome and treated like a human being when you walk in this place, try try it okay 👍.

I have to give kudos to the designer of this new travel plaza. It's contemporary and clean and the updated interior with lots of natural light makes it nice to stop eat and enjoy a few moments off the highway.

My hope is that EV charging will be considered as they roll out these updated locations.

These rest stops are pretty nice , all have food courts even tho the food is a little pricey. Clean and well kept .

A new building, well designed. Lots of restroom options and stalls. Also lots of seating to rest and lots of tables to sit and eat at. Typical travel needs and souvenirs at the general store.

There is a second Shake Shack on other side of the thru way.

Clean and pleasant. Above all I loved the fact that you aren't forced into paying big bucks to big chains for food here: you can go to the store at the end and get a perfectly good hot dog and coffee (and other things too if you want them) for not much money.

Today's date is 9/7/23,10:52 am,I'm in a white truck not on the entrance ramp but a little farther up on the right just before you enter,about 9am the guy in back of my truck put a bag of trash outside his truck and left like the disrespectful peice of trash he is,he's just that because he's giving other drivers a bad name at this rest area like the scumbag he he is .If the rest area sees this,take a look at your cameras,see if you can identify this trash,it's discusting looking at this,than you have to clean it up.This is from a another discussed truck driver,I hope you can get survellance video and give this litter bug peice of trash a litter TICKET.He had to drive by the trash can anyway and left his trash at the enance
