Flatbread was outstanding! Service was wonderful and Ambiance perfect for a table of one!

Went there for dinner on a Saturday evening recently. Some of the best Italian food we've ever eaten. Owner and her husband are wonderful hosts. The cioppino was terrific, as was the lasagna and scampi. Leave room for their cannoli - big enough to split. And the decor/atmosphere is really something. Check out the custom wood art scattered throughout. Definitely will go back. (Be warned tho - in this part of Oak Harbor parking is hard to find; be prepared to walk.)

Lovely patio overlooking Puget Sound. The staff and owner were amazing, very friendly and welcoming. The penne with filet mignon was very flavorful and the steak was cooked to perfection. The lemon tiramisu was also fantastic.

Galentines dinner was a smash hit with the crew at Rustica. Our bartender was on point with her drinks, and a warm welcoming smile. Our waiter and buser were classy, fun and very attentive. Mercedes made the night feel like we were just guests in her home. Oh and the food!?
My steak was wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Date night on a Sunday. PERFECT! The service was great, everything was absolutely delicious! The food brought out my happy dance! Will definitely be going back!!

This is a great spot for a tasty lunch or an upscale dinner. The atmosphere is rustic chic complete with wood panel walls, copper backsplash at bar side, and rusty metal siding wall panels. The food is delicious and certainly worth the stop. Try their specialty cocktails, beers, and wine. If you're in Oak Harbor, come visit this darling spot!

Ok first things first, this is a small business, so if you want fast food, and low prices go to McDonald's. The food, drinks and water came to us in a good amount of time. I would say we waiting not even 3 minutes for water, ordered our food and good good quality food in about 10 or 15 minutes. The food was wonderful. But if you like boring and no robust food again go to McDonald's. This uses flavors throughout its menu. Again not cheap it is a great date night once a month for dinner and good for lunches.

The name aptly describes the atmosphere. The service is good and the food is great. They have an unusual take on lasagna - shredded braised beef, which makes it taste very good. I highly recommend it. If you're in the area, take the time to visit.

Found this gem on vacation with our new puppy. Nice atmosphere on the curbside pet friendly patio. Fun place, good service and we loved that the menu had more appetizers than entrees. We ordered tapas and shared several items

We lunched by splitting a veggie flatbread (brie, balsamic, nuts, etc) and a meatball sub. Sweet, savory, spicy, and delicious. We had cucumber/lemon water to drink, and an iced tea. Nice people, great smells from the kitchen, and lots of light and fresh air.

Probably the best Italian restaurant in the area. I've tried another one but very pricey. This one has great entrees at the right price point.

Wonderful food, the Bolognese was absolutely astounding 🤩 our server was great and very attentive despite being the only one other than the owner there. A must try!

Had the arugula salad, penn cove mussels and pulled beef lasagna. It was all wonderful. Best lasagna ever had. Finsihed with a desert called Honey Roasted Peach, served with vanilla gelato. Great service.

Cucumber and lemon water in a unique bottle was cool. The menu is simple yet Devine. The rustica salad was a blast, never had a rustica ball of cheese. Cheesception if you will. Try the wines too.

My family and I are so delighted to have chosen to have my Dad's 80th Surprise Birthday dinner party here at Rustica! The Manager, Wait Staff and Chef were all AMAZING and KIND people, who literally treated us like family! It was such a special night, one that will never be forgotten! From the culinary masterpieces that came from the kitchen, to the fun yet private ambiance, it was all 110% pure awesomeness! We can't thank Rustica Cafe enough for the perfect night and above and beyond delicious food!!! My Dad had the BEST 80th!!!!

Came here about a year ago and asked for fetachini Alfredo (off menu) and was told the chef wouldn't make it because it wasn't authentic Italian.
I ate my meal and left, not planning to return.
Fast forward until a couple weeks ago until when someone remarked how good the Alfredo was there. I checked the menu online and came down as soon as I had the time.
Sure enough they replaced the old chef and it is delicious. Definitely some of the best I've had in the pnw. No longer do I have to drive to Anacortes for good Alfredo.

Bathroom needs upgrading--not accessible. Low toilet no bars
Very difficult to use

The piccata is always delicious! A very tasteful place to dine.
