The park area is nice and well kept. Parking can be a little tough on nice days. The park/ beach is bordered by residential homes. The beach is beautiful and is a fun area to look for sea glass or enjoy the relaxing ocean sound.

If you walk 3 miles west down past McCurdy Point, you will find the real 'glass beach', much more glass there 😊

I stopped by as I wanted a brisk walk in a brisk breeze and this beach is a great place to do this. The beach itself is beautiful, many rocks, lots of driftwood, seagulls, clear water. This seems to be a popular place to walk with dogs, as there were 8-10 people with their dogs there, in spite of it being a blustery day. The park is clean & appears well maintained. I'm new to the area, so I haven't fully explored this park, although I will in time. I was also pleased to see a deer grazing in the field. Lovely area

Very nice spot with trails and a small and large grass area . Dog friendly. Beach was nice, parking can get crowded on a weekend or in summer

My first time visiting and it was everything I hope it would be. The weather was great! There were people at the beach but not crowded. The parking is small but we got lucky because someone was leaving.
It's definitely worth driving to get sea glass and cool rocks.

I took my granddaughter to go beach combing for ocean glass and sea shells. She had a ball. Just watch out for the steam rising from the left of the handicapped ramp. It's not a mysterious fog, it's the outlet pipe from the sewage treatment plant. If you're looking for ocean glass keep heading North for a couple blocks.

Wow! Looking for Sea glass? This is great! We went during a low tide of 6ft. The beach was a bit skinny at this height. The hike is easy for most of the way, but there are some patches with rocks bigger than your hand and will be rough to navigate.

We found plenty of glass, filling up half of a quart sized mason jar. We even found some uranium glass and one piece of Amberina glass!

The hike took us about four hours each way. We went slow as I have mobility issues. We were still all very please and finished the hike without much issue.

The parking area was nice, and we did see some police patrolling it so it seemed safe to park in. The park was not that busy, and we only saw 2 couples during our entire hike.

We had a close encounter with a family of river otters, who were hunting just on the shore. We also spotted seals popping their heads out of the water, and a large assortment of birds.

Ok, no daytime pics right meow. But suuuuuch a beautiful beach. Lots of fabulous waves and sometimes too many people but that's part for the course these days for sure.

Dog friendly. Perfect spot for sunset/moonrise.

Beautiful 💞

This is where you start to get to the Glass Beach. There is a free parking lot. Go down to the beach and head north (left). At around the 2 Km mark you will see a fence made of driftwood posts. At 2.8 Km there is a concrete wall. At 3 Km there is a large rock formation in the water. Keep going! When you reach the far point it becomes more rocky and this is where you will find old car parts and garbage. Don’t stop here and keep going around the point. 5.2 K is at the start of the good glass collecting area and it extends about 2 Km along this long beach. Pay attention to the tide tables as at high tide some places are impassible. We have had it out just after high tide and have had no problems. We have managed to collect around 4 to 5 pounds between the two of us in two hours.

Great place with a mostly unknown piece of US history in it. The shore batteries of the Pacific Northwest that guarded the coast from invasion make an amazing historical site with tunnels, bunker systems, and short forest trails between them and wildlife areas. Interesting day trip.

Really great beach and park. Parking lot is big and there are bathrooms. If you like looking for sea glass then you'll love this place. Get on the beach and go left all the way to McCurdy Point. It's a long slow walk (because you'll be picking up sea glass the entire way) so bring a lunch and something to drink.

amazing place to find sea glass!!! Go when the tide is on its way out and you will have miles of beach to explore and find treasures.

If you like collecting treasures, this is a great place. Park at North Beach, (restrooms are available!) and start walking, whether you head toward the light house or trek towards glass beach, you will find tons of sea glass, rocks, and shells.

I wish we came during better tide conditions as my wife wanted to explore the beach for beach glass. We were trying to hike 2 miles to glass beach but made it 200 yards due to tidal conditions. During our stay, high tide was too great. Check tidal charts before you go. There is also hiking into the fort. Wish we had more time

Picture perfect outing browsing for sea glass and enjoying the sunny day.
Easy access to the beach, and lots to explore if you time the tides properly.

A local favorite. Limited parking gets pretty crowded in summer months and over the holidays when folks are visiting. Connects to Fort Worden state park via beach( tide permitting ) or up and over bluffs on woodsy trails.

Had a great time on the beach. Wasn't the right tide to hike to glass beach but the kids found little bits in the sand. We also hiked the trail. Lots of wildlife and some plaques with history.
