Wegmans Pharmacy

Competent staff. Very knowledgeable pharmacists. Long phone wait times most days. I think the phone call goes to a call center. If you need to speak to the pharmacist it's back on hold until they transfer you to the local pharmacy.

Good service in store. Pricing is similar to other pharmacies. Pharmacy is located inside Wegmans market at front center near registers. Their text system works well alerting you that it's time for a refill. You can then reply to refill or not. They do have mail order but I think it's extra. The same for blister pack medicine. Those two areas are not their strong points.

This Pharmacy is fantastic. The staff has gone above and beyond to ensure that my prescriptions are filled timely and using the same generic brand each time which is essential for my condition. For a very busy store, Linn makes each customer feel their needs, questions, and concerns are the most important part of her day. Wegmans is fortunate to have such a qualified and compassionate team at this location.

I regularly fill prescriptions at this pharmacy and the service has always been really great.

I saw others complaining about insurance deniers, and out of stock stuff.

I have never experienced any sort of issue like this, but have had these issues at CVS and Giant so stock maybe an issue everywhere.

I really wish I could remember the nice lady that fills the prescriptions and is the “leader” because I would call her out by name since she is always super helpful! Next time I am in the store I will update the review to include her name.

For a grocery store Pharmacy I would totally recommend them.

The ease of getting groceries, prescription and friendly people make it perfect.

P.s. I don’t miss the 3 foot long CVS receipts!

Normally, I would give this store 5 stars; however, the servant-leadership that the organization stresses is at the core of what they stand for to ensure a quality customer experience was certainly not on the charts today as the lunch lady proceeded to tell me how my ginger, green chili, and tomato placed me over her 15 item limit, placing me at a ridiculous total of 18 items that she had to ring up. Nevermind the fact that she had NOONE in her line, and all the other lanes were extremely long in the store. I volunteered to put 3 items back if that would help eliminate some of the stress and weight of that heavy ginger root, 1 chili pepper, and Roma tomato, to which she stated in a motherly tone, "oh no, no, don't worry about." Then why even comment??!!! She then tells me, you know how people can be with one item over. I told her, "why yes I do. People are less patient and kind." Perhaps she understood the undertone of my message, but my advice to anyone going into this store is to never expect the lunch lady at the checkout counter to help out in the store if you are 1 or 2 items over. By all means, if you're at 15 items, PLEASE don't pick up a pack of gum, because it's that 16th item that breaks the register. UNREAL!!! So much for servant-leadership.
