Giant Food

This is our favorite grocery store. Good parking, close to home and they always have what I need stocked. I like the layout of the store. Staff is friendly. Deli meat counter guy was very helpful and service with a smile was a plus.

This Giant is a great place to shop. While the aisles are a bit congested, there is a wide array of groceries, great produce, and nice (albeit small) seafood counter. Staff is friendly and always ready to help.

I'm at Giant on Kingfisher Drive once a week! My mother-in-law likes their milk and lunch meats! While I'm here, I get things for us too! One of the items that I get is Tide laundry detergent when they're on sale! In November, we needed to get a new washing machine! But my new machine only uses HE detergents, but the detergents that I bought are regular! I took my recently purchased Tide back to Giant to exchange for HE detergent. While I was there, I asked the supervisor if I could bring my other Tide in to exchange for the HE, she told me I needed my receipts in order to exchange it! I told her I couldn't find my receipt for it! She told me she can look into it if I give her my Giant card numbers and phone number so she can called me back! She called me a few hours later to let me know that she looked back six months and she couldn't find any my purchases for Tide! Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for doing that for me! I think she helped her customers above and beyond her job description!

Items are always fresh people are friendly. They are one of most expensive places in the area but it is clean and food is fresh. They also carrier Boar Head's meat and cheese that are my favorites so that is big plus. Would give 5 stars if wasn't so expensive.

This is my local grocery store. The staff know us and are always friendly. Sometimes their grapes look a little meh. They have a nice organic/vegan section.

When I'm not going 7 mi to the Food Lion, you'll find me at a Giant for the more upscale (and yes, a bit more expensive) Euro-American stuff.

Giant reopened its salad bar. Very nice!

Update: 5/20/23 boarshead replaced 3 peppercolby jack cheese with some rotten onion cheese which didn't sell. So, the brought back the 3 pepper colbyjack cheese only in 8oz. Packs. 8.99. Which means your paying 18.98 for one pound. Good update, after contacting boreshead mutlible times; and yesterday I found my 3 pepper colbyjack cheese in the deli. Yes I got a Lb. Thank you Boreshead and Giant Food Inc.

Great supermarket. 100 times better than Weis. I feel like the food is fresher here . A bit more expensive but worth it. This is my go to store anytime I need something quick. The store is clean and organized.

My Giant foods is a fully stocked grocery. Since I am an amputee, it is great since the store footprint is not massive. Grab the things I need and be on my way. Great employees, helpful deli / seafood folks, all good. Plus, I think they have a really great online order/pick up service.

Employees go above and beyond to help you. I asked a girl where I can find the raw almonds... she stopped what she was doing, went out of her way and came back with a 100 diffetent bags of almonds to let me choose. Amazing service!

My Giant in Frederick is the Best. The store is always clean and stocked! Workers come around and ask if you need help, even without asking! And the deli,,,the boar's head meat selection is superb! The Cashier's always thank me for coming. You can tell what kind of place this is to work for because they have had alot of the same people for years, and they take pride in this store, and are genuinely happy!

Great clean store with wonderful staff.

Being one of the largest Supermarket chains, they have the ability to cover just about every food need but I've ever had. The flower departments have been pretty nice too, picked up a dozen roses from my wife today. Had a nice special with Dannon Yogurt so I stocked up on that as well. I've been to this particular giant probably 10 times and will continue to come. The wait staff was very helpful and the store was nice and clean. Well-lit, spacious parking lot tends to round the good things out. Well worth the trip, the prices compete with just about everybody. Two thumbs up

I ordered 17 dozen doughnuts the week of an event. At pickup, everything was ready right at 8 am-they were friendly, helpful, and the price was fantastic! Will totally order here again!

Went into Giant Monday with my husband. He asked the gentleman in the meat dept. If he had small chicken strips. He looked aroung for him but didn't find any. So we continued shopping and Patrick was his name came all the way to fond us to let us know he gound it. He went above and beyond. Awesome service. !!!

Love it! Clean, friendly , great sales and deals! Their meats, poultry, seafood and produce are always fresh and of superior quality. Plus discounts on gas which adds up easily. Plenty of parking and wide aisles which can accommodate mothers with kids as well as disabled people. I shop around a lot and I keep coming back to Giant 👍

The service I received from the Deli department was just phenomenal!! A young lady by the name of "Traci" helped me out with completing my every need! She made my shopping at the grocery store enjoyable again!!

A very FRIENDLY, clean and well organized store. Excellent selection & condition of produce. Cashiers are very helpful and fast. Self checkout machines work and don't need manager intervention. Pharmacists are helpful and professional (which cannot be said of Monocacy CVS). The meat and seafood are fresh. The isles are wide and easy to navigate ... I cant think of any problems I've ever had at this store in the 12 years I've lived here. I do miss the Giant in Frederick.
