Best Sichuan Beef Hot Pot in town!! The soup is super flavorful. The boss lady told me instead of buying the soup base, they created their own. I like all the ingredients in it as well! I can actually eat a big one by myself—very satisfying…

As someone who has lived in Asia, I've been in search of a Taiwanese restaurant in Seattle that is AS GOOD as what I was able to get in Taiwan. Rocking Wok is that place. The family that runs it is lovely. The space is cozy. No frills. Excellent food. 5 stars.

If you missed Taiwan snacks & hotpots, this is the right place to come. All the authentic snacks brings me memories of all the Taiwan trips I went. I like the sour cabbage hotpot a lot, I can finish 2 bowls of rice with it.

Sad to see place closed. Was told they are re-opening under new ownership and new menu. The Taiwanese menu was a little unique from most of the Chinese restaurants in Seattle.

As one born and raised in Taiwan, I can verify that they provide authentic Taiwanese traditional foods, with excellent quality and affordable price. Highly recommended.

Must try the ba wan (Taiwanese meat ball)!! Amazingly authentic and delicious. Stir fried hand cut noodles was also great.

Great food. Hidden gem of Wallingford. Perfect place to have a work day lunch. The Basil chicken is one of the best I've ever tried.

The food is so good. I’ve been to this restaurants more than five times. Every time I visited it was hard to pick just one dish to eat. There are so many delicious dishes to try! They even play a lot of Taiwanese pop music!

This place was so authentic and delicious! It gave me and my Taiwanese friend a feeling of being back in Taiwan/China. There are many dishes that aren't found in many places in Seattle - one being Ba Wan, or Taiwanese meatball dish. So good, I would definitely recommend this place! Also very reasonable price for what you get!

Closest restaurant to authentic Taiwanese cuisine in Seattle. Price is very reasonable, best if your group is large so you get to try many different dishes. Been coming here since forever and the dishes are always on point (stinky tofu, oyster omelet, stir fried veggies, Szechuan spicy fish fillet amongst other dishes are always a must-order, depending on group size). Their red bean pancake is also a great dessert if you still have space for that!

This is one of my favorite mom and pop eateries on my book. The menu is BIG and would satisfy anyone seeking from authentic Taiwanese cuisine to regular American Chinese food. Food here is always comforting, delicious and affordable. One steamer of 5 super yum soup dumplings cost less than $5, IMO tastes much better than any of those big name chained places which 75% of your bill goes to fund their ad campaigns and their CEOs. The lunch specials comes with the main dish, a ball of rice, a fried spring roll and a cup of soup, yet most of them costs under $10! I highly recommend the Honeydew Beef if you like sweet and sour but want to refresh the taste buds.

Most of the time I walked in, I found the owners working their tales off at the kitchen or behind the counter. Occasionally they were sitting outside of the restaurant. Lovely couple who brings the taste of home.

Coming back for a second time and it’s still spot on for Taiwanese food. They have standard Chinese-Am food for those less adventurous though those who do venture will be deliciously rewarded. Bitter melon w salty egg is so masterfully prepared. The chef retains the firmness of the melon so easily denatured by lessers cooks while balancing the bitterness with the pungent salty egg. That dish alone is worth another trip back. There are a handful of proper Taiwanese restaurants that aren’t slinging boba at the same time. Come here. Sit. Travel with your order. You won’t regret supporting this charming corner family restaurant.

New favorite go-to near home. I've ordered from here several times now and have never been disappointed. The milk bread is so good, I could make a meal out of that alone. Authentic Taiwanese food at great prices with great customer service.

I had the stinky tofu, oyster omelet, and fried pork intestines. Of the the dishes I have had stinky tofu and oyster omelet in Taiwan. The two dishes are very common sights in Taiwanese night markets. Both dishes were nearly spot on. I would say that the tofu was slightly heavier than what I'd prefer and the omelet has less oyster then one would expect if you've had it in a Taiwanese night market. Other than those minor critiques, my time at the restaurant was full of pleasant surprises. The stinky tofu came with a good serving of Taiwanese kimchi, which in itself was delightful.

The fried intestines were good. I would have preferred it crispier and spicier, but their take on the dishes is still good.

I did manage to sample the Taiwanese meat ball, scallion pancakes, and sweet and sour fried fish. All are worth a try and are done rather well.
