Salmon Creek Cafe

This place really is a diamond in the rough. Don’t let the neighboring tattoo parlor and laundromat deter you. Some unusual and delicious menu items. I’ve had the Croque Madame, Brunch Burger, Baked Eggs, Super Mac, and Salmon Burger. The Salmon Burger is amazing: not a ground patty but a juicy thick filet on a bun. Prices are very reasonable. Beer and wine available. Restroom is spotless and attractive.

My daughter and I have made Salmon Creek our go-to destination for breakfast. I was originally attracted by the mural on the outside of this otherwise nondescript string of storefronts. The food is always consistent, and it spans from light (granola) to hangover cures. I always ask for a side of their homemade hot sauce. It's excellent. The service is always super friendly. There can be a wait on the weekends.

Loved the delicious food, the warm, friendly service and the comfortable, colorful vibe of the cafe.

This place served up breakfast quickly and it was all delicious. I was happy to arrive before the brunch rush, so the service was prompt. The food was well cooked and the waitress seemed happy to be there. The restaurant looks shabby from the outside, like I almost hesitated to go in, but I’m glad I did. I’d come back here anytime I was nearby for a yummy hot meal.

We shared the French Toast, Breakfast Mac n Cheese, and a Biscuit Egg Sandwich.

The food was tasty, and the Brekkie Mac and Cheese was surprisingly delicious and I'd recommend that to anyone who goes. The French Toast is also a safe bet. The Biscuit Egg Sandwich was delicious, but make sure to get some sort of sauce with it.

The portions are a healthy size, but they are surprisingly filling. The food was also a good price, and the coffee was really good. Most definitely coming back.

This is such a cozy cafe! The service was amazing! My potatoes were a lil dry, but other than that, the food was great.

Flying in from Fort Worth, this was my small group’s landing spot while flights trickled in. I had the pesto baked eggs, which were very flavorful and of a generous portion. The yolks were fully cooked through however, possibly because it’s a hot dish serving item but I’d have liked a little more golden goodness mixed through. Coffee was the nectar of the gods after the flight. Staff was warm and welcoming. Would gladly visit again.

Had an excellent breakfast here today! After some help from the kind and knowledgeable server we landed on avocado toast (add smoked salmon & dill crema) and pesto baked eggs. Both were winners, and the pesto baked eggs were particularly good. Creamy, cheesy, salty but not too salty, really yummy scooped onto the accompanying grilled bread with a drop of the house made hot sauce. Oh! And the jam that accompanies toast tasted homemade. Will very happily be back!

Our favorite go to cafe. Always excellent food and service. Great place to enjoy the sunshine or escape the rain. Great conversations over great food. Home away from home.

Favorite place for breakfast! Always friendly, always clean, always delicious! Have ordered most of the menu over time, and nothing disappoints. Prices are very reasonable to portions and flavor!

Cool breakfast and lunch spot between Burien and White Center! Big ole menu with all the meals so you don’t have to choose between breakfast lunch and dinner. Very charming ambiance like a country kitchen. Lots of different seating option from table, bar, couch and small two person outdoor tables. The road it’s on is super busy but there tons of parking. Very kind service and great food. The coffee was awesome!

One of my fav cafe! They have great food and service. Lovely delicious pie full of cherries, I had tuna sandwich with salad and drip coffee which is also very tasty. And the coffee can be refilled！Must try!

Wedged between a hair salon and laundry mat in Burien the Salmon cafe stands out. We visited for breakfast and tried the OG breakfast plate and the hot ham and Swiss sandwich.

Both were delicious and the portions were huge. The one taste that stood out to me was the brioche bread of the sandwich. It tasted like a piece of French toast and was my favorite part of the meal.

Love this little place. So cozy and not even that busy on Saturday morning. Food is tasty and not overpriced. The only thing I'd say, don't get avocado toast, it is pretty generic. All the other breakfast items I tried are very yummy.

Food was delicious. Breakfast mac and cheese was rich and flavorful and the perfect portion. Ham and Swiss sandwich was well-balanced and tasty. In-house hot sauce was very yummy. Service was timely and friendly. We’ll be back!

I went here specifically to check out the breakfast/brunch options. This was my first time to this Cafe and I am happy to say, I found a new favorite. There egg bake for was delicious and very creamy. You have the option to add shaved ham or sausage gravy as well. I got the shaved ham and thought it was a good addition. We came in on a Saturday around 11:30 and were able to be seated at the bar without a wait. The Cafe was pretty full otherwise, so I would have expected a wait if we wanted a table.

A sweet and cozy cafe that has the
friendliest staff. The biscuits and gravy were sexual while my brunch berger could satisfy any tequila hangover. Also they serve sonic style ice ;-)

The food was delicious! The hot sauce is omg amazing. Was a nice little hidden gem to find randomly on vacation. Wish I lived closer, I’d be a regular for sure

This is the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Service is fast and attentive. I never ran out of coffee. The Weekender was amazing. I don’t often eat sausage gravy as I am trying to eat healthy. This was absolutely worth the exception. I will be back to try each item on the menu and update this post if possible.

Delicious food with lots of care and yummy details like fresh Parmesan on the side salad. We ordered the the pesto biscuit sandwich and the avocado toast with eggs and both were very satisfying and flavorful. Excellent coffee and delightful service. Love this spot! A gem in White center.
