The Bean of Mesilla

I visited last year while on vacation in New Mexico. This was a quant coffee shop. I loved the atmosphere - with all the stained glass it was bright and airy in here. I had an iced latte that was very good.

Beautiful little coffee shop, great energy. The blueberry muffin was so good and filled with whole blueberries. I'd recommend the honey lavender coffee!! Inside the café was nice and cozy. They had a nice patio area where there was shade early AM. They have good parking and bike racks. Must go!

Spent ten weeks on the road throughout the southwest and this is probably my favorite coffee shop from the whole trip. Their toast is delicious, the yogurt and granola is a bounty, and the oatchata latte is fantastic. Can't recommend this place enough.

I stopped because it looked like just my kind of place… and it was! I got the specialty latte made with oat milk and a gluten-free scone. The scone was giant and tasty and the latte was super delicious, creamy, and very satisfying for a beautiful fall day. i’ll definitely make this part of my regular routine while visiting my folks in Mesilla every time now :-)

I ordered the honey lavender latte and it was so good, they even put a heart on top. I’m glad that I saw it, because it made me very cheery. The avocado toast was really good too. Their patio was comfortable, and I liked the stained glass on one of the windows inside. The Bean has welcoming vibes.

Great place for pastries and great coffee! Welcoming environment especially as an lgbtq person.

We have driven by The Bean Cafe many times since moving to Las Cruces but had not stopped in until this weekend! I love this charming cafe in Mesilla. You can bring a book or laptop to catch up on some work or enjoy breakfast or lunch with friends or family.

Came by at the height of the pandemic. Service was strong, and the coffee was good. Due to the great climate and shade, sitting outside was very comfortable and relaxing, even at 100 + degree temperatures!

Great ambiance and coffee. Delicious pastries and friendly service. Warm and eclectic environment. Great spot after a bike ride or run.

Great coffee shop with delicious baked goods. I had the green chili cheddar scone. Plenty of tables inside and the staff were friendly and attentive.

On a cross country road trip all the way from NY, we stopped here for some coffee. It was DELISH I also had the yogurt bowl with house made granola sooo good!!! The staff behind the counter was also very sweet and friendly. Thank you!

Great fresh coffee, roasted right there next to the tables.

They also serve sandwiches and pastries. Live music on the patio makes for an enjoyable time, although it can get loud enough that it's hard to have a relaxing conversation.

The iced oat-chata latte is THEE best coffee I’ve ever had! 👌🏼It’s literally made perfect everytime I get it! Also the scones are freaking bomb! My favorite has been the chocolate butterscotch and coconut lime. 🤤

Had a delicious oat milk latte and an americano, kindly delivered curbside - great flavor and well made! The online ordering platform works well and I so appreciate that curbside pickup is still an option. Thanks for the excellent service and delicious drinks!

I love their gluten free scones when they have them. They are so good.

Very nice friendly place. Good coffees and desserts. You can also bring your dog if you ear on the patio.

Really yummy baked goods!! Fun environment to relax in! They hold family friendly paint nights through Yaymaker. Also Yoga and other fun things! Oh and Italian Sodas for the kiddies!

Cute spot! Totally recommend. Got the honey lavender latte, really delicious. Also a blueberry lavender muffin, didn't realize it was vegan til my friend got theirs and is vegan. So delicious! Sorry vegan friends, didn't mean to take one yours but totally recommend checking it out!

Excellent coffee in a super cool location. We had the cappuccino and “Morning After” which were both excellent. The baked goods were also perfect. The mood is great, very chill spot to hang out with a very welcoming vibe.
