My son loves riding his bike out here, it is a very nice area for biking. Lots of trails with tons of skill practice, different terrain, elevations, bridges, jumps, and a whole dedicated jumping area. Just make sure to check the signs and ensure the course is open... due to wet conditions they are closed sometimes... this is to help preserve the integrity of the track so that everyone can continue to enjoy these great trails.

Erwin park is an excellent location for hiking. Varied terrain, with forests and meadows, well maintained trails (shared with mountain bikes so be sure to walk in the opposite direction as marked and keep an eye out for oncoming bikes). There is a road through the park but no concrete paths. Distances are not marked but the trail is always fairly close to the road so you can make the walk as long or short as you like. Think Arbor Hills x 4.

Exploring the trails in the woods was an absolutely amazing hiking experience. The serene surroundings, fresh air, and beautiful scenery made it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Highly recommend for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike! Trail is very well maintained and you can decide how many miles you want to hike, it goes on and on.

Only concern that I have now is that there are trees that are being cut and some buildings or whatever is coming…

I loved going fishing in the pond! I caught 5 fish that were pretty big, I also love the trails and I just love the place! Just be careful of the trashcans because you might find a huge red wasp in one like I did when I had to throw away something, but other than that, the whole park is wildlife friendly, human friendly, animal friendly, etc. If your trying to find a place to bike, this is the place u want to go for sure! It's so fun here!😃

Erwin Park is a hidden treasure! I had a delightful morning stroll amidst the open plains, and the camp sites and pavilions looked fantastic. The bike paths are a great addition, and it's clear that this park is a popular choice. Can't wait to return with bikes in tow! #SoldByLucie #McKinneyTX 🌳🚴‍♂😊

Beautiful nature park for hiking and mountain biking. There are some picnic areas and we noticed a small pond. FYI - Paths are not designed for strollers.

Good trail for Mountain bike or hiking. Total distance is roughly 10 miles. Not a lot of steep climbs but some that will get your legs burning. Several sections to get some speed and have fun. Lots of open areas so keep that in mind in the summer or windy days. Several jumps scattered throughout the trails including a skills section near the top parking lot...you can't miss it.

Spent one night in campsite 10. Spacious, private and quiet. 2 picnic tables and a fire ring. Bathrooms a short walk away. Being on the hilltop was a plus. As was being alongside of a heavily used bike trail.

Great bike trails.
Bikes go one direction hikers the opposite. It's kind of a hassle having to step off the trail to let the bikers go by but everyone was polite and there were no close calls.

Beautiful park even in the winter.
I can’t wait to come back and hike this spring.
This park has 9 miles of well maintained nature trails, pavilions and campsites.
So peaceful and quiet.
We hike on Thursdays- join us!!

They've done some great things out here at Erwin. Bring your bike and enjoy the fun and joy of this trail. Bring your feet and hike. Just go out and enjoy the work of the trail crew that has really made the park so much fun to experience. It's a beautiful place, and you can enjoy the solitude of nature, the lushness of the flora and the serenity of the lack of hustle and bustle.

Really cool park! Visited with some friends and there was a couple of really cool trails (although to the left and right is a plethora of Poison Ivy). I really want to come back and try riding some of the bike trails. I think they would be really fun, even trying out some of the jumps.

I really thought it was impressive the bike station that had every tool to help fix your bike if something happened, or if you forgot your own tools.

There was a HUGE party going on so we couldn’t check out the pavilion and the kiddy swings, which was disappointing for the daughter. Overall this is a cool place and we will definitely visit again!

Great park. Easily one of my favorites. Great trails w lots of space to see oncoming bikes. Everyone is friendly. Lots of shaded picnic tables. At least one set of restrooms. Fields of grass. Lots of parking.

This is an amazing park. Especially if you like hiking and foliage. There's plenty of beautiful places to take photos. The park also has bike trails. They do have restrooms. But I do suggest you bring a fair amount of water caise I did not see any water fountains. There is plenty of parking at each of the areas including the playground areas. It's a great place to bring kids

Fanstasic park. They've come such a long way since I first visited in 2020. The MTB skill park is unrivaled in DFW. They have very apparently dumped a lot of money into making this place what it is, and it should be loved, appreciated, and respected as such.

A lovely oasis of tranquility just a short drive from downtown Frisco.
Excellent location for walking, with superb bike trails.
There are also convenient camping locations with toilet facilities and plenty of parking areas.
A wonderful place to have a picnic or simply sit down and enjoy the surrounding nature.
We seen on our walk, an Ardvark, tarantula spiders, and many types of bird, from large raptors to tiny song birds.
Shelters are also strategically placed around the park if the weather takes an unexpected turn for the worse.
