Storage Star - Lake Travis Austin

I have been using storage unit at this facility for the last five years. My experience has been fantastic. The security measures are excellent, the place is kept very clean, and Nate has been extremely helpful in ensuring the storage unit remains clean and secure.

I've stored my belongings at this Storage Star location (which underwent numerous name changes through the years that I rented from them). They were always helpful and great attending to my needs. The first storage unit was one of their largest and at a great monthly rate for approximately 6-7 years. Discounts were given paying several months in advance. Then I downsized and took everything out for 2 years and later returned to rent a smaller locker for another 9 months until I moved again. No problems and no issues and good rates. I was super happy with their ease of service, climate-controlled, bug-free units and would definitely recommend and use them again.

I visited this property recently inquiring about pricing for my storage needs. I spent some time with one of the most pleasant and knowledgeable storage property managers in Jordan. Her patience, and expertise in explaining everything from unit prices, layout of each building, security of the property as a whole both coming onto the property, as well as in the buildings themselves was top notch. You can't help but notice all the security cameras on a big TV mounted on the wall. The property grounds are very clean, with no signs of trash or debris. The bathroom was just as clean, well stocked, and maintained. She answered all my questions and never made me feel like a waste of time or just another potential tenant, though I can imagine the number of people like me she deals with every day. We spent some time just conversing and laughing, further showing her interpersonal skills. I highly, I mean highly recommend this property, and dealing with Jordan personally.

Second summer renting a unit. Nate was amazing and came to make sure the unit we had was cleaned out to perfection. He had it open and waiting for us and helped us with backing in our vehicle and locking up. Thanks Nate!!

I love this storage facility. I have literally rented probably about 5 or 6 different units and the staff is always super accommodating to my changes and needs. I have had units overlapping by a bit where I was credited to another unit once I moved out of the prior. Always a big help!!

I just started renting a unit within this past week & have had such a nice experience so far! Bobby helped me initially & even went out of his way to help me. I also worked with Nathan & he was amazing too! The whole process was smooth, easy, and left me with no questions unanswered. The locations are well secured & this one in particular is beautiful (location & property). Love this place & the employees!

Great facility with nice, helpful staff, decent access hours and prices. Other services (truck rental and shipping) at the location have been eliminated/reduced by the new owners. My only complaint is that there are no lights inside the individual rooms.

I called secured climate storage on my way from Ohio. They recommended a 10x20 climate controlled unit due to my pictures and wood furniture. They were so helpful, even gave me the phone number of movers to help me unload the penske truck. You can also leave your penske truck there, and it is done. No other trips to make when you are exhausted and stressed. Thanks to you all, and thanks to Lynn.

Friendly staff, lots of storage options. Was out of town for awhile and the staff helped me manage my storage while I was away. One time, I forgot to secure my unit properly. They got ahold of me right away, made sure it was locked and even offered a new lock when I was able to get back. Highly recommended. These guys are great and affordable

Secured Climate Storage is the best storage facility I have ever rented from. I did a lot of comparison shopping before deciding that they were the best, and also the best price. The facility is always immaculately clean. Unlike other facilities I have used, there has always been moving carts available in the building. Thankfully no more wild good chases trying to find a cart to move my stuff. Loading docks are the right height for big moves, with surface level loading for small moves. Perhaps most important, I feel my precious stored items are safe. Their facility security looks state of the art. I also feel comfortable sending my family members because of the excellent security. I recommend them highly to my family and friends who need some extra storage space. Good management and great pricing make a huge difference.

The ladies up front are awesome and very helpful. I feel safe leaving my items at this facility. I definitely recommend!

Their staff are very friendly and helpful each time I went there. A few even remember me by my name or recognize me. They provide great customer services who understands the need of their customers. I can ensure my packages and mails are safely stored until I pick them up. The facility is very accessible, clean, and you can get your mails with your own personal key to your mailbox 24 hours.

We rented a storage space, post office box, and got moving supplies. The employees were not only friendly but kept us smiling and laughing, it definitely was an uplifting experience for a “not-so-fun” type of errand. Please visit them for their service and great extraordinary facilities. We’ve had other experiences and can say we would surely come back!

Nothing but great things to say about this business and employees. Have rented two units and they are easily accessible, clean and very secure. The loading dock and varying size dollies make moving in and out a breeze. Great pricing and ample size units as well. Their team is friendly, helpful and kind.

Rented a uhaul for a kids project. Get there, and their systems were down. Vicente was AMAZING in working through the problem, getting me going, and was an absolute joy talking to. Made the small problem disappear which speaks volumes that the store is well run and customer centric.

I don’t do this often, but in this case, this review is deserved. The people at Secure Climate Storage are just AWESOME! This experience was no hassle, quick, and very professional. The rates are better than other facilities in the Austin, TX area, and the people and the cleanliness of the facility made the decision easy to make. I am very happy with our decision.

We really enjoy the quality of this storage facility. It's always clean, easy access in and out via keypad. There's always a cart available when in need.
Also we really like the mailing service options available there on site. So if needing to mail a package off we don't have to go to the post office.

Hard to review something you've only been involved with for a few minutes. I think you need to hold your horses. Reservation online process was fast and easy. Also easy so far at the office, Matt was great, and super friendly. Owner must think this is California, prices are way too high.
